Groundworks Sponsors the Wyoming Valley Run and Expo

Event Recap

On Labor Day Weekend 2024, Groundworks’ Central Pennsylvania team, formerly Baker’s Waterproofing, proudly sponsored and participated in the annual Wyoming Valley Run and Expo at Mohegan Pennsylvania in Wilkes-Barre.

Our team was excited to meet the community at the expo on Aug. 31, leading up to the big race on Sept. 1. We even received some shoutouts from the event DJ!

Hitting the Pavement for Good Causes

The Wyoming Valley Run, presented by Allied Services, is a fast and level 10-mile course that showcases some of the Valley’s most stunning vistas as it winds from Pittston to Wilkes-Barre.

This event caters to athletes of all abilities, whether aiming to beat their personal record or tackle their first 10-mile race. Runners, walkers, and hand cyclists are welcome to participate.The Wyoming Valley Run is deeply rooted in community spirit. This year’s event supported five local charities: Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge, the Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA (formerly Candy’s Place), the Greater Wyoming Valley Area YMCA, Northeast Sight Services, and the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association.
