Event Recap: Build Together 2023

On October 7, 2023, Groundworks team members in Houston partnered with Houston Habitat for Humanity to make a tangible difference in their local community. Employees dedicated their time to wall construction for a home on McCarty Street, which will provide safe, affordable housing for a deserving family.

The hands-on volunteer work demonstrated the power of corporate community engagement, with team members contributing their skills and energy to help address the critical need for affordable housing in the Houston area.

“The Groundworks team was one of our hardest working teams,” said Nathan Flores, Community Engagement Coordinator at Houston Habitat for Humanity. “They came in and were ready to help us achieve our goal of providing affordable and accessible housing to local Houstonians.”
