Groundworks Teams Up with Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at PurpleStride Utah
Event Recap: Taking Meaningful Strides
On April 26, 2025, Groundworks was proud to sponsor and participate in PurpleStride Utah, held in Salt Lake City. As the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, the event brought families, caregivers, survivors, researchers, and supporters together for a day filled with hope, resilience, and community strength.
Groundworks employees, including Adam Neptune and Matthew and Staci Denny, teamed up to engage the community and amplify change. They were honored to participate by walking to raise awareness and critical funds for the mission-driven work of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
Across nearly 60 cities nationwide, including Salt Lake City, PurpleStride united thousands under one cause—fueling research, providing vital patient support, and honoring loved ones affected by pancreatic cancer.
What We Achieved Together
The PurpleStride Utah was a huge success, exceeding the $65,000 goal and raising a total of $70,712, demonstrating the power of collective action regionally and nationally. These efforts directly support PanCAN’s ongoing initiatives and patient programs across the country.
