Groundworks Joins Forces With Arlington Rotary Club at the Great Stilly Duck Dash 2025

Event Recap: A Quacking Good Time

On July 4, 2025, Arlington, WA, once again welcomed one of its most beloved local traditions — the Great Stilly Duck Dash. This annual event, hosted by the Rotary Club of Arlington at Haller Park, brought the community together in a colorful display of excitement as thousands of rubber ducks were released into the Stillaguamish River.

Groundworks NW Washington proudly sponsored the event as part of its ongoing commitment to building vibrant, resilient communities. As part of the festivities, Groundworks team members offered hands-on support, helping with Duck Dash set-up and participating in family-friendly activities that highlighted our mission and fostered community spirit.

How to Get Involved

The Great Stilly Duck Dash began in 1987 when the Rotary Club of Arlington pledged $10,000 toward building the Arlington Boys and Girls Club. That commitment sparked a legacy; since then, the Club has raised over $3 million through Duck Dash ticket sales. These funds directly support kids, seniors, and families in Arlington, Lakewood, and Darrington — investing in stronger, safer communities.

Your participation makes all the difference. Visit the Rotary Club of Arlington website to discover how you or your organization can support future events and community initiatives.
