We had two teams come out – one team to do the foundation lift with Carlos and Crew and the second team with Brian and Raymond for the poly renewal foam. Both worked very hard to make it work – Carlos and team had to work through rain, while Brian and Raymond were coming across some concerns. In the end, both teams did what they came to do. Brian and Raymond were particularly great at communication through each step of the process, which I highly appreciated!

We had our crawlspace encapsulated by AquaGuard because of serious drainage issues 5 1/2 years ago. Everything went well at the time – they were courteous, responsive, and professional, and we were very happy with the work that was done. But what most people want to know when they pay for a big job like this is whether it’s going to hold up in the long run. Recently we’ve had to do some other unrelated work that has required multiple contractors to go into our crawlspace again. Every single one of them has commented on how great our crawlspace still looks. I think that really speaks volumes to the true quality of the work, that even after 5 1/2 years it still looks like it was done just a few months ago. We haven’t had a single drainage issue with our foundation since then, and if I ever need work like this done again, AquaGuard is the only company I would even consider calling.

Blake Whitener came out to inspect everything – my crawlspace, foundation, and gutters. He pointed out a few things that would need attention down the road, but there was zero pressure to fix anything right away. He was really patient and let me get a few other estimates and think it over before making any decisions. AquaGuard ended up offering the best products and prices, plus their warranty really stood out to me. Once I signed the contract, I was able to schedule the work on my time. Kurt, Joseph, and Reid showed up exactly when they said they would and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. They made sure I knew what was happening, how everything worked, and how long it would take. Kurt even gave me a tour when everything was finished. Blake stayed in touch and made sure everything was done right. Overall, I’m really happy with my experience with AquaGuard!

*AQUAGUARD'S WORK IS SOLID* The opportunity to improve is on the administrative side. First and foremost, the crews that did the actual work were awesome and FIVE STAR. I had one crew led by Marcus replace my gutters in mid October. Raymond & Brian lifted and stabilized my garage and driveway a week later. They were all professional and did pre/post walk throughs and checked in periodically to let me know what was going on. Their work was excellent. The leads on both crews answered all my questions (even the ones I didn't think to ask) and helped me work out some kinks in the whole process. Some examples of admin issues: – I repeatedly requested a copy of the signed contract (because it was all electronic) and didn't get one until Marcus, the lead on the gutter crew, was kind enough to send me a copy as soon as I asked him. – When the contract was set up, they had the wrong contact information on it. I had to send multiple texts to get at least the contact info correct in the system and I'm still not 100% sure it is correct. – The gutter crew didn't have access to give me credit for materials that didn't get used. The supervisor, Josh, was very helpful in getting that addressed and the paperwork pushed through when I spoke with him. – Something happened when the first crew completed their job that closed out the GreenSky account that was intended to pay for all the projects. Raymond helped me get that all sorted out so I could take full advantage of the 2-yr interest-free Greensky loan instead of having to use other means to pay. – There was a misunderstanding on what work was contracted for on the driveway. I thought that the code on the contract meant stabilize and lift but it didn't. The video I was shown had them also fixing the cracks after the lift which lead me to believe that was included as well. It was not explained that that the lift and crack fix would be separate charges. When Raymond showed up, we talked it through and he went the extra mile and did what he could to get the best result without costing me more money. I have a driveway that I'm happy with. I encourage others to use them. The biggest warning is to make sure you fully understand what each of the line items on the contract mean before you sign.

Jim was extremely thorough with his inspection and took care to find a financing solution that worked with my budget and still managed to ensure that my home would be healthy and stable. Financing was a breeze. Joseph & Steven did a wonderful job converting my musty, molding, sagging crawlspace into an underground Taj Mahal. It's absolutely beautiful, and as a 6th generation baker, a stable kitchen is a requirement in any home I reside. It was our first time hiring a professional for water damage in our basement. We had no idea what caused it. We had a very bad experience with some of our previous contractors so we asked a lot of questions. The inspector Jose explained everything clearly and took time to patiently answered all of them. The crew who did actual work, Calvin, Jamahl, and Clayton, were very professional and polite. Their work was fast and efficient. They informed us at every step so we know what is going on. They did all the waterproofing in just two days. It cost a lot but we’re glad we hired Aquaguard. It’s great to have an assurance that we don’t have to worry about any water damage in the basement in the future under their lifetime warranty!

The crew – Stephen, Darrell, and Derrick – came out on a day that ended up having some torrential downpours and did a great job with an amazing attitude. That was no feat given that it was the day before a hurricane came through! Frankie, the installation manager, followed up to check on my satisfaction and was quick to send another crew out to address one fix needed because of the storm. History
Beginning in 1995, founder Tom DiGregorio built his waterproofing company on the principles of honesty and integrity. Realizing a need in the marketplace for foundation repair and concrete leveling in the Marietta and Greater Atlanta areas, the company expanded to offer those services becoming Georgia’s leading foundation company.
In 2011, AquaGuard grew again when Joe Rusk joined the team. Rusk had more than 30 years of experience in the waterproofing and foundation repair industry and brings a unique focus on customer satisfaction above all else.
In December 2020, AquaGuard joined Groundworks, the nation’s largest privately held foundation services company. Since then, the company has continued to grow to better serve those in Georgia.
