The crew called me ahead of time the day of my scheduled appt. to make sure I knew when they'd be there . They were on time and courteous. Asked if I had any questions about what would be done showed me the work after it was done and asked if I had any questions . Again I will state the crew was very courteous. All systems go.with work.they had done , I would highly recommend them . We are definitely using them anytime we need such work done . These men jack hammered 75' of cement, hand carried the rubble out , installed a vapor barrier, drainage system, sump pumps, and a drainage field in the yard. They are professional, courteous, and polite. I hired Baker's Waterproofing at recommendation of a recently hired plumbing contractor after their work revealed a leak coming through my foundation. I called Baker's and they sent somebody out for an initial inspection of my basement and garage. It was ultimately uncovered that my foundation was built of cinderblocks and was not only leaking water from the steep hill behind my home whenever it rained or whenever snow melted, but also that groundwater was welling up and through it from the ground below. Baker's scheduled a time that worked for both their workers and my time, and sent out Victor and Miguel to get a full waterproofing, french drain, and pump installation with backup system installation completed. Their work quality, work ethic, and determination to keep timeliness blew me away. Despite running into several complications and delays that were through no fault of their own, not to mention inclement weather on one of the scheduled days of work (heavy snowfall), they managed to work with their small crew to get all of the work done in about a week's total time. It only took them two days of work to complete a full job along nearly the entire basement wall, the whole back garage wall, and one entire side wall of the garage. On top of this, from start to finish of this project with Baker's Waterproofing, every person I spoke to and worked with was extremely professional, courteous, and explained anything I needed elaboration on clearly and concisely; and their pricing was not only competitive, but extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of work they did. I cannot recommend Baker's Waterproofing enough; they are worth every minute and every penny. Special thanks to Victor and Miguel. If I ever need anything Baker's Waterproofing can do again, I am definitely asking for them by name.

Baker's initial inspection uncovered that my foundation was built of cinderblocks and was leaking water from the hill behind my home as well as groundwater from below. They scheduled the work and sent out Victor and Miguel to complete a full waterproofing, French drain, pump installation and backup system. I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years, but I have never had a better experience than I had with Baker's Waterproofing. We had water leaking into our basement from the floor due to hydrostatic pressure. Steve Cahl, our salesman did a thorough inspection and gave us a detailed explanation with a video of what was causing the problem was how Baker's would fix it. After we agreed on the contract, he told us what to expect, the date the job would begin, what time the craftsmen would show up, and how long the project would take. Everything he said was true. Their communication leading up to and during the job was exceptional. Steve always returned my calls immediately when I had questions. The gentlemen who did the work – Tyler Barnhart (foreman), Joey Pickard, and Brandon Miller were incredibly polite, pleasant and unbelievably hard working.Tyler called me the day before, and each morning to let me know what time they would arrive. They not only showed up on time, they were early both days! The job was finished in a day and a half. Their expertise was clearly evident in the quality and timeliness of their work. And their work is guaranteed for life with a transferrable warranty. Thank you, gentlemen, for a very positive experience! You rock!

We had our basement waterproofed by Baker's. It's been bone-dry since. We did have one piece of equipment fail within a month of the installation, but it was a third party dehumidifier that was just a dud I guess, no fault of Baker's. I texted the project manager about it on a Sunday. I expected a response the following week. He got back to me within the hour. The equipment was removed and replaced within a couple days. Everything great since. I would highly recommend Baker's, but specifically our project manager Nathan Goddard and the head guy on site Daylan. Can't remember his last name, but he's got a long beard and did a great job. Thanks to both of them and the rest of the guys.

After his thorough structural inspection of our home, he pointed out cracks that we were unaware of, and remarked on causes of the damage that we were concerned about. My kids heard him talking about “cracks” in our house, and said they didn’t know they “we are living in a crack house”. I laughed so hard, I had to pee. The fear of being taken advantage of or pressured into unnecessary work is very real and far too common. When I noticed cracks and changes in my foundation, you sent out one of your experts Gavin Melan to come and walk me through the setup, explain how the issue is identified, and show me what the correction process involves. He spoke to me as an intelligent adult — no scare tactics, no talking down to me. Dealing with structural issues is such a stressful ordeal, but all the gentlemen we dealt with at Baker's made it so much easier. Bradley Peterson was always available to answer questions and gladly came back more than once to make sure we were comfortable with his proposal and the finished product. The crew that performed the work were terrific. They showed up early and left late. They communicated about everything and best of all was their attitude. Every day for a week these men climbed under our house into a very tiny space and I heard hard work accompanied by laughter throughout the day. I never heard a comment that was negative in any way and they were always smiling. Tysean Lacks, Brennan Cole and Geovanni Medina have the best attitudes and work ethic! Any of these friendly and professional men are welcome at my home anytime. In fact, we intend to request the exact same crew for our work in the future. Thanks guys!

Alan was very knowledgeable and was quick to answer any questions. I had a problem with a basement wall pushing in… Called Baker’s Waterproofing and they sent out Brad Peterson to give us an estimate on the job. Surprisingly, they had a crew here the very next day. Cale, Joel, Shay, and Will did a fantastic job inside and out. They dug a 4 foot trench and mounted six wall anchors along the problem wall. They were all polite and professional, and did a great cleanup job before leaving. If you have any type of basement problem, Baker’s is the way to go.

I'm giving 5 stars even though we were unable to have Groundworks complete our job as planned. They bumped us up two weeks ahead of schedule. When they came to the house they found that the work order was missing a bunch of additional things that needed to be added to complete the job. There was a miscommunication between the individuals who wrote the job plan and the workers. The foreman, Cale showed genuine empathy and did everything he could to try and see if it was possible to do the job within our original price range. While Cale moved back and fourth inspecting our crawl space and calling the office to try to find a solution, Joey, Gauge and Brad helped brainstorm and entertain my toddler. When ultimately we would be unable to afford the job after the job was written properly, they were still kind and gave us a direct contact to chat with on the best way to move forward. My Husband spoke with Martin and he was very informative, honest and helpful. Despite us not being able to move forward with our project as planned, we will definitely be going with Groundworks in the future. Everyone we worked with was kind, honest and professional.
