I wish I had hired them first! I hired another company to fix my moving bowed and shearing basement walls. They were primarily a waterproofing company, but said they had the solutions to my issues. 3 months after they were complete, my walls cracked and shifted again. (Note, in the attached photos, the patchwork quilt on the walls was the OTHER company.) OBA fixed my issues the correct way. And they were great at every step. The work crew Caleb, Delontae, and Dylan were fast, efficient, and cleaned up when they were done. Caleb made sure to explain what was happening as they did the work and ask if I had questions. The work was thorough, and I feel good about it. And even better, they'll be out in 6 months to ensure everything is working as it should and make adjustments if needed.

Tony Elzholz called us when he was in route to our home, let us know when he was arriving and arrived at the exact time of the appointment. I found a hole in my basement floor and signed up to get an inspection at 8:49pm and received a call less than a minute later to get scheduled for the next morning. Jacob Letner and his partner were amazing. They were so thorough. They did a full inspection, walked us through what their tools told them and all of our options. Top notch company and crew. They were so amazing that we scheduled on the spot. They put our mind at ease for a scary situation and are really grateful.

Co-founders Mike and Gayle Rusk knew from experience there was a right and wrong way to make home improvements. In 1999 they started Ohio Basement Systems and literally built it from the ground up, starting with the basement. They knew that customer service and sales integrity needed to be core factors for the company to succeed.
And succeed it did! Growing from a small business to employing more than 100 people. Every day, each team member strives to deliver exceptional customer service with every customer interaction. Based outside of Cleveland, Ohio Basement Systems is proud to serve homeowners throughout Northern Ohio including Akron, Canton, Youngstown, Sandusky, Bowling Green, and nearby.
In September of 2019, Ohio Basement Systems was excited to join Groundworks. The joining allows Ohio Basement Systems access to cutting-edge products to better serve the homeowners of Ohio.
