Unfortunately, my driveway was not a contender for Groundworks' service due to the cracking being caused by a tree. But Alexander was very straightforward with me. He was very knowledgeable and honest. I really appreciate that he didn't try to sell me on something that would not work. Will definitely reach out to Groundworks should I need any foundation repair in the future!

Can't say enough good things about Tar Heel Basement and the guys that work for them!! Ken Stephen Michael and Robert worked very hard all week long to get the job done and what they accomplished was beyond my expectations I am so thrilled over my seller my basement and my crawl space being secured from any water damage now!!!

I was extremely happy with the work. My garage slab had cracked and dropped over an inch at one end leaving a big gap under the garage door. When they came to survey, they caught 2 other voids under the whole front edge and at tge other corner. This was during the winter. Once the ground warmed up, they arrived on the scheduled day, about an hour early! The whole job only took about 45 min. Brandon and Marc were friendly and professional and piped in exactly enough foam to raise the slab level. I was impressed with their finesse. Nothing wasted, they left my garage clean and looking great.

JES installed my sump pump in October 2023. Today (9/25/24) was my annual maintenance appointment to be sure that everything was working well with it. My technician, Ben, contacted me on 9/24/24 to check in with me on any possible issues that he needed to be made aware of prior to my appointment as well as to confirm my appointment. Very professional and polite. Fast forward to the appointment, Ben arrived on time, once again was very professional. I showed him where it was installed so he could get to work. Unbeknownst to both Ben and I, well there was no power going to the sump pump. That was as easy as flipping a switch on the breaker box. Then, Ben noticed a leak in the piping that was installed when the sump pump was installed. Ben ended up having to cut my drywall in which JES will incur the cost to repair it back. But this was nothing he couldn't handle although he did have to make an unexpected run to Home Depot/Lowes to get the tool needed to cut the pipe. Ben returned in a decent amount of time and got right to work. Ben repaired the pipe, cleaned the sump pump bucket, and ensured everything was working correctly. Towards the end of the appointment, Ben made a few recommendations and ending up finding out that the piping that is coming out of the from of my house that pushes the water out was installed incorrectly and was not was I paid for. Therefore, Ben made a call to his supervisor, Megan Hartman, to put her on notice about this issue as well. Ben assured me that someone from the service department would reach out to me to schedule repairs for the piping outside as well as the wall repair. Overall, I would give Ben a 10/10 and would highly recommend him as your service tech. He made sure to answer any questions I had to the best of his ability, remain professional, kept me informed throughout the whole appt, valued me as a paying customer, and advised me that if I had any further questions after this appt that I shouldn't hesitate to reach out to him. Ben was AWESOME‼

From start to finish, they were professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure the repair was done right. Tory and Blake arrived on time and immediately got to work, assessing the situation with impressive attention to detail. They took the time to explain the process to me, ensuring I understood the repairs and what was needed. Throughout the job, they were respectful of my property and worked efficiently, all while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude. What really stood out was their dedication to quality. The Forman and crew (Cornell-foreman, Lee and Zero) were great. Showed up on time and kept us informed on progress. Kept the disruption to a minimum (the moved a lot of dirt) but returned to normal when completed. Had issue with plumber who came to redirect main waterline but separate company. Courteous, professional and did a great job!

We contacted AFS who came promptly to assess the damage and provide a reasonable quote. Today Parris and Benjamin from AFS came and did exactly what the quote was based on. Our driveway leveling has been fixed with the driveway looking much better!
