From consultation through completion of work, everyone was the consummate professional. The installer’s work exceeded expectations. Every stage of work was thoroughly explained. Truly, I didn’t know that there was so much junk in my crawl space to be removed. Nonetheless, all loose items were removed.The installation to include removing junk was a full three days. I would definitely recommend the full package to include dehumidifier as advertised. Now, I wait for return on investment ((ROI) – lowering of inside dust and energy efficiency. We shopped around and settled on MVFS because we thought they offered best product. MVFS encapsulated our crawl space plus put in 2 sump pumps/drains. We had it done right before "Debby" and there were some issues due to the amount of rain we got. We called MVFS and they immediately came out and rectified the situation. We worked with Mark (sales), Joe, Dez, Zach and Darryl (encapsulation guys) and all were professional, kind, they explained things well and worked till we were satisfied, even work late nights on occasion. We would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely the best experience I've ever had with contractors, start to finish. Our basement was flooding during every heavy rain. We called a few companies and settled on Mount Valley for their reviews and response. They came out, quoted us a great price for a lot of work, and a few weeks later showed up to do it. Upon arrival, the site supervisor noticed that the layout we'd drawn up might not work with the water issues we were having. He made the change on site, got everything where it needed to be, and was out on time. The work ended up being less, and Mount Valley submitted a change order to actually give me my savings. John, Jeremy, Desmond, and Marty were all excellent communicators, diligent workers, and I couldn't be happier. Truly a pleasure of an experience. I wish Mount Valley could do my electrical and plumbing work next.

Please see the earlier review (3/12) for context. I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Mt. Valley Foundation Services regarding our sump pump installation. Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!

I was very fortunate to call Mount Valley foundation services to repair our dehumidifier in our basement. The diagnosis and service provided by Scott Berger the technician was over the top. He knows his stuff very well. He not only repaired the issue, but was able to check on the warranty and replace the unit at no cost to me. Definitely recommend these guys.
