Nick came to home today to diagnose a problem. He was in communication with me 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Arrived on time. Nick was pleasant, professional and efficient. Nick took time to share and explain all his findings and offer solutions. Nick took time to explain technical things I did not understand. Nick then spent additional time to speak with my son on the phone, again going through his findings. Never did I feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. Such a nice and refreshing change. When experiencing costly and unexpected disruptions, it is nice to have someone in your home that you feel understands. Thank you Nick, for being professional AND personable.

Mike Gold came out to do my yearly inspection. He was courteous and personable, and listened patiently as I identified some areas of concern. He then explained what the inspection process entailed. When he finished, he sat with me and explained the results, even going so far as to compare them to last year’s results and the results from 2018. His taking the time to do this reassured me that my foundation was in good shape. I very much appreciated Mike and recommend him (and Groundworks) without reservation.

Manny Bello & Atiim Smith were our installation crew from Groundworks. They arrived on time and were professional throughout. Before starting work they reviewed the plan and provided an estimate of the time required. Our garage slab had settled significantly in areas preventing water from draining out and in some locations, the soil had settled under the concrete 8 inches below the visible concrete settlement of four inches. Within a couple of hours Manny and Atiim had lifted all the slabs to provide excellent drainage. Additionally, simultaneously they worked on our front entry to stabilize that concrete from cracking and settling. The two of them then caulked of the seams. The garage turned out to have a better drainage slope than when it was originally poured and we couldn't be more delighted. Thank you Groundworks and thank you Manny and Atiim.
