Thorough and efficient. I was extra needy and they were very respectful and fulfilled all my wishes wo question. The price beats the local competition by far too. I don’t want any more foundation issues but if I had more of them, I’d use this company again.

I’ve worked with Michael Davies from Ohio Basement Authority (a Groundworks company) three times now, and he has been outstanding every single visit. This latest project finally gave me complete peace of mind—my basement is truly waterproofed and secure for the long haul. What stands out most is Michael’s genuine commitment to helping people rather than pushing upsells. In an industry where that can feel common, he takes the time to clearly explain exactly what’s wrong, breaks it down in simple terms anyone can understand, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and informed. I highly recommend Michael and Ohio Basement Authority to anyone dealing with basement or foundation issues. He’s reliable, knowledgeable, and customer-focused—top-notch service!

From the field inspector, Tanner, to the foreman, Joseph, the experience has been great! Everyone was very professional and communicated well. Tanner did an excellent job with his inspection, information presented via short videos and actual samples of the materials and then communicating options and prices. Joseph and his crew showed up on time, very courteous, explained the job, and cleaned up completely. The work done was a crawlspace waterproofing system and encapsulation.

This past Friday while I was on my way out the door for work while a monsoon was coming down I went through my basement which had previously had the interior drainage done in April around 90% of my basement floor. And noticed a large amount of water running in from an old abandoned pipe that runs through the block and my sewage pipe that runs through block. I called Ohio basement authority to come and take a look to see what they can do to fix the issue and they had scheduled me with Kyle. He was very courteous and apologetic about what was going on. He presented to me what his plan was to fix the leaking issue and not only did he do that. He put on a clear paint like material on a spot where just a small amount of water was coming through and re routed my wiring that went into my sump pit to make it look more neat and presentable and to keep it from catching on the sump pump float. He told me he would do it as if it was his house and I really appreciate everything that he had done. Thanks again Kyle.

We had an excellent experience with Ohio Basement Authority from start to finish. From the moment we called, their team was responsive, professional, and very helpful. They scheduled an appointment within just a couple of days, which was impressive. Joe Rhoads came out for the inspection, and he was outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to clearly explain everything in detail. He made sure we understood the issues, the solutions, and never rushed the process. You can tell he truly knows his job and cares about helping the customer. Honestly, Joe was a big reason we felt confident moving forward with Ohio Basement Authority. His approach, honesty, and expertise made a huge difference. Highly recommend both Joe and the company if you’re looking for reliable and trustworthy basement work.
Foundation Specialists in Columbus, OH
It’s normal for central Ohio homes in areas like Columbus, Dublin, Grove City, and Westerville to succumb to effects like cracking and bowing walls, leaking basement or crawl space, high humidity, and mold growth. All these issues can be brought on by the area’s climate and soil working against your home, its structural integrity, and its health. Areas in and around Columbus are prone to moisture problems due to a large number of rainy days throughout the year. While Ohio has a good mix of silt, clay, and sand in its soils, the state soil is Miamian which has more silt. But Ohio also is rich in clay soil. If too much water is saturating the soil under and around your home, it’s going to expand and exert tremendous hydrostatic pressure on your foundation.
These issues are all too common for homeowners like you throughout Columbus and central Ohio, but you don’t have to live with these damaging conditions. Ohio Basement Authority’s team of experts has the permanent solutions you need to address your foundation, basement, crawl space, and concrete repair needs.
