Later, when I had some unexpected expenses, he was able to modify the project to fit within my revised budget. The finished project was perfect. The workers were punctual, efficient, and neat. I had several companies come out, and Jay was the only one who approached my sagging floor issues with real expertise and a no-nonsense attitude. I'm extremely pleased with Groundworks. Austin Moody, Kenny and Cody came out and did the work just as planned. They looked and acted professional and were very courteous. Exactly what I expected. We have had some previous experience with Ground works under the old name and it seems to me there is continuity and the company is doing what they say they will. During remodel of our spacious walk-in basement, came to realize that the back wall and fireplace leaked during a hard rain. Quickly ruling out any outside solution we turned to Tar Heel for their AquaStop BasementGutterl. Paul our inspector did exceptional job of understanding our unique problems offering us options that we used to create an affordable solution. The diagram he drew was exceptional so by this time we had a lot of confidence. Our installers Mathais, Terrance and Matt really could not have done a better job. I would recommend Tar Heel Basement System to a friend. One piece of advice I can offer is to get THBS to work first, don't design your interior with water problems as a consideration.

I contracted with Tarheel Basement Systems to place a drain system in my basement which has been damp and gross for years. Robbie, Terrence, and Keaton were prompt, courteous, and efficient. Robbie explained the system in a way that I understood. After they were done they cleaned up thoroughly. The process from start to finish was well-managed and there were no hidden charges or pressure for add-ons.
