Manuel Bello & Jose Ortiz did the liftwork under my supervision, and unfortunately the laws of physics did not resolve the issue with my porch. The lifting & deep ground penetration was otherwise a great success under Manuel's leadership. After the primary work was completed the district manager Darren Clark reached out to me. I commended him on the quality of the work, but also my frustration that the porch was still having issues. He and his team lead Mike worked with me, and yesterday Francisco Cortez, Salvador Pulido & Rene Guzman came out & helped reset the porch onto the concrete caissons with a very creative and innovative approach. We had several cracks in our driveway that we had concern about them spreading and growing wider. I reached out to AquaGuard and an appointment was set for a person to come out, evaluate and provide an estimate. That person was Jonathan Young. He was so thorough in explaining the entire process, the company's background and more. Talk about a real professional in his field! The appointment was scheduled within a week's time. Shaun and Chris got straight to work! First Chris used two different kinds of measuring tools to check for potential hollow areas under the driveway. Once identified a hole was drilled and the hydrophobic concrete stabilization material was poured in, then sealed up. After that was finished they smoothed out the cracks and put the sealant on top of them. It only took a couple of hours to complete and around four hours before a car could drive onto the driveway. We couldn't be more happy with the results. Shaun, Chris and Jonathan are an absolute pleasure to work with. They are conscientious, courteous and definite professionals at their respective jobs.

Today David came out to service my Sump pump, Dehumidifier, and settings on all equipment to be sure everything was working. I had Groundworks in to do my crawlspace. I had a very damp crawlspace with some water coming in when it rained heavy. The entire process from start to finish went smoothly. Caden came in and did the evaluation and explained the entire process. I had to delay the installation 2 times due to bad winter weather and Victoria was very easy to deal with and reschedule. The foreman on the installation was Cliff and his brother who's name I cannot remember. They did a great job installing and communicating throughout the process from start to finish. After completion they reviewed everything with me. They left the site very clean. I highly recommend Groundworks.

We had such a great experience with Alpha Foundations. Tyler, Tristan, and Greg let us know when they were on the way so we could get things ready. They were the nicest team to work with and were even happy for us to let our dogs out in the yard from time-to-time to relieve themselves. The crew did amazing work, checking in with us to make sure things were right and to get the maximum benefits to our house. They did a lot of work in one day and we are really happy with the results. It makes a noticeable difference that you can feel just walking on our wood floors. The work is amazing and the team is even better!

We had a great experience with Foundation Recovery Systems from start to finish. Chet came out for a consultation within just a few days of our call. He was prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable. After meeting with him, we scheduled the concrete work and everything went smoothly from there. On the day of the job, they called about a half hour before arriving and showed up right on time. Anthony and Corey did an excellent job. They were very particular about their work, explained everything clearly, and even took the time to educate us while we watched the process. They were professional, friendly, and easy to work with. In today’s world, it sometimes feels like customer service and personal relationships are becoming a thing of the past, but this company truly still values their customers and takes pride in building those relationships. That really stood out to us throughout the entire experience. The finished work looks amazing, and we would highly recommend this company to anyone needing concrete work done!

My overall experience was a great experience with their team! The man that came to give an estimate was thorough and very nice. The men that came to do the work were nice, thorough, knowledgeable (for the most part), and cleanly for the most part. I liked that they put plastic down from my door all the way to the basement. The only thing I could see, was their having trouble putting my basement window back in, but they did stay until it was back in properly. However, there was a mess where they had to get stuff out of window to get it back in, which I cleaned up after they left. Knowledgeable for most part, because I asked a warranty question and they were unsure because they hadn't done the carbon fiber straps for awhile, but he looked up my answer on the spot. Over all this company and their workers were fabulous!!! I wished i could have had the paperwork in hand instead of via an email because its hard to find where to print it out! They did the job promptly and left. Thanks for all the hard work guys and I would recommend anyone to this company!!

My history with AFS spans several years and multiple technicians, supervisors, and managers. Throughout that time, we’ve worked through a long and challenging effort to stabilize an interior wall, with many visits and repair approaches along the way. This most recent visit, however, was different. Nick D'Esposito, Adam McBay, and his crew — Josh, Bailey, and Wayne — were able to accurately diagnose the underlying issue, place the right support equipment in the correct locations, and spend the necessary time fine‑tuning the adjustments. Their work eliminated gaps in the moldings and significantly stiffened the floor near the problem wall. These gentlemen are a true asset to AFS and to the customers they serve. AFS’ (Groundworks) Senior Leadership Team in Virginia could learn a great deal from them when it comes to communication, customer satisfaction, and follow‑through. I look forward to seeing Adam, Josh, Bailey, and Wayne again soon for the final adjustments.

Every part of our transaction involving basement wall reinforcement was amazing, from the initial phone call with JoAnn, to the free inspection by Caleb Loy, to the final product installed by CJ and Baron. All personnel were courteous, professional and efficient. Best yet, my understanding is that AFS is an employee-owned company, and this is fully reflected in how all AFS personnel complete their assignments! I started with BusyDog in Winter 2025 right before they joined Groundworks. It was our first thaw in the house (moved in Summer 2024), and the sump pump was severely neglected by the previous owner, basically rotting out in standing water. They went above and beyond to make sure we didn't run into an emergency and quickly sent someone out after the weekend to install a new pump and status monitor. Lee even got under the porch to make sure the drain pipe was set securely, which had become dislodged. Winter 2026 – Tyler E came out to service the pump and brought me up to speed on Groundworks. He was courteous and an excellent communicator about his arrival time and leading me to a more affordable annual service maintenance plan (5 years) instead of a higher year-by-year plan. We talked about some other basement issues to possibly address down the road, which we'll revisit the next annual service. The pump is only a year old, so service was business as usual. I look forward to having Tyler E help us maintain a dry basement in the future.

I had my crawl space encapsulated. We had a problem with moisture seeping through the cement blocks of the crawl space, which then allowed mold to grow. Freddy, Jesus, and Juan did a great job with the installation. They were efficient and the process only took a few hours. Justin the electrician was also really great. And Steven our salesman was very helpful and informative. The price was fair too. I would recommend JES Foundation if you need your crawl space encapsulated.

I had a very positive experience with Foundation Recovery Systems. Foundation repair is a big investment and can cause anxiety, but Stephen, Camden and Dawson make it a doable worthwhile adventure. Stephen helps set up financial means, assesses the problems, and rolls up his sleeves to make it work. Camden and Dawson do the heavy lifting and explain everything along the way. They are a great team! They never leave you hanging: they respond to calls right away, answer all questions, and reassure anxious home owners. They were able to stay within the original price estimate. I really love these guys!
