He went in the crawl space and did an inspection. He found we had several issues under there that he suggested we take care of first. Blake came back after reviewing and gave us several options to correct our issues. He did a great job explaining everything. The only reason for the 4 star review was the lack of communication from the initial salesman after the sale. Apparently, what he sold me was not sufficient for the square footage so they had to change the entire layout and add an additional pump which they added in the final price. Another issue, they hired a plumber to move my water heater away from the wall. That company busted my unit while moving it and tried to have me pay to have a new one installed. None of this was communicated to me along the way…not from the plumber or Tarheel Basement. After fighting with a few different managers from TB on the phone, they finally did the right thing and “covered” the replacement heater, although it ($1,695.68) was figured back into my final invoice as well. All in all, I think they did a good job and should be thankful they have a good installation crew. Otherwise, my review would be much different.

I hired Baker's Waterproofing at recommendation of a recently hired plumbing contractor after their work revealed a leak coming through my foundation. I called Baker's and they sent somebody out for an initial inspection of my basement and garage. It was ultimately uncovered that my foundation was built of cinderblocks and was not only leaking water from the steep hill behind my home whenever it rained or whenever snow melted, but also that groundwater was welling up and through it from the ground below. Baker's scheduled a time that worked for both their workers and my time, and sent out Victor and Miguel to get a full waterproofing, french drain, and pump installation with backup system installation completed. Their work quality, work ethic, and determination to keep timeliness blew me away. Despite running into several complications and delays that were through no fault of their own, not to mention inclement weather on one of the scheduled days of work (heavy snowfall), they managed to work with their small crew to get all of the work done in about a week's total time. It only took them two days of work to complete a full job along nearly the entire basement wall, the whole back garage wall, and one entire side wall of the garage. On top of this, from start to finish of this project with Baker's Waterproofing, every person I spoke to and worked with was extremely professional, courteous, and explained anything I needed elaboration on clearly and concisely; and their pricing was not only competitive, but extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of work they did. I cannot recommend Baker's Waterproofing enough; they are worth every minute and every penny. Special thanks to Victor and Miguel. If I ever need anything Baker's Waterproofing can do again, I am definitely asking for them by name.

As they were inspecting the area they discovered the basement walls were not structurally sound & needed to be held up with steel beams. I was not expecting to have another bill & I was relieved when Camden worked to get me a discount. The team was very professional, polite and punctual. It’s been some time since I got Indiana Foundation to come out and look at my crawl space and give me an estimate. I used to have so much water in my crawl space some summers I had frogs in there. My sump pumps all burned out and nothing I put in kept up with the water to pump out. Matt came out and did my estimate and laid all out on the table how bad it was down there. It had rotted out the floor in my main bathroom and even under my furnace. His guys came out and put inna new floor in my bathroom, pumped out 16 inches of water before they could even start working, and work they did. They worked into the nights, on weekend, and did a fantastic job and saved the foundation of my house. They just came out for an annual check if everything is working and it is. I am so glad to hear one of the 3 pumps, they created on their own and cooled by water pumped so they won’t burn out, when it pours rain. Thank you Matt and your entire crew. What a great job!!!

Job was quoted, accepted, and then they followed through exactly as promised. Mike Zelewski went above and beyond my expectations getting the huge job done when promised. We have a 3 year old son so getting our basement fixed was #1 priority. MVFS made us feel like they respected that. I 100% recommend them for any foundation service needs. My job was 60 linear feet, 12 inches wide, about 5 inches deep. Closed gutter system into sump pump. All interior walk out basement. They also installed vapor barrier on all interior block walls.

I have a porch off my house that has been showing signs of settling and separation from the house. I put it for an estimate and Andrew Young came out to inspect, he was much more thorough than I was expecting. Contractors usually take a look and throw a number at you and ask when you want to start the job. Andrew Young actually put on a Tyvek suit and crawled under my porch to take pictures and document the angles of the sloping with a laser level. I was incredibly impressed with his knowledge and dedication. After he put his tools away he actually did a rendering on his laptop of what his suggested solution was going to be to solve the issue permanently. I’m still weighing my options of shoring up my porch or doing a tear down and building a deck but if I choose the shoring up option I have complete faith in GroundWorks thanks to the professionalism shown by Andrew.
