He answered our never-ending questions and was professional and kind. He answered texts and calls promptly. The crew that performed our repair (David, Bobby, Jose, and Jacob) were a joy to deal with. David contacted me this morning to let me know what time they’d arrive. The crew all introduced themselves to me. Incredibly professional. They showed me each step of the process to make sure I understood what was being done. They protected plants we were trying to save. They cleaned everything up prior to leaving and left the areas better than they found them. It was obvious that these four guys take so much pride in their work! Today 2/6/2025 his technical experts Dave Santiago & team came and finished the job perfectly in under 4 hours. When I scheduled an Appt I knew who was coming out, the date and time and I received confirmation while I was talking to the receptionist. The Foundation Professional was Codi M. When he arrived he was prompt professional and very understanding. He asked us to show him in and around the house 🏠 what we felt was the "possible foundation issue" . This is very important to us Seniors. He was very pleasant and showed concern. Then he explained how their process works and what he does and he went straight to work. He used laser applications and tape and computer. He started in the house, then went outside the house, then he went under the house in the crawl space. He took pictures. Then the "verdict". He explained all his findings and told us what the cost would be if we decide to go with them. No pressure just straight forward. We were very pleased with the honesty and the professionalism of Codi M. With that being said, Of course we chose this company they absolutely made our home a priority and we highly recommend them if you are considering foundation solutions that work.

We started having issues closing our door to the garage indicating a possible foundation issue – i called Foundation Recovery Systems and was contacted by CFI Hunter Holmes. We agreed on a time and Hunter came out and got down and dirty in the crawl space area below our house. After about 3 hours Hunter came out, took another 40 minutes or so to put together a report, and then we sat down to see what he found. What i found is that Hunter Holmes is extremely knowledgeable about what can go wrong in a crawl space under a house. We talked about the specific issues under my house – any question i had was thoroughly answered. Hunter was indefatigable in explaining what needed to be done and why. I am thankful to him for his sincere and genuine help in my understanding what is going on in my crawl space. After Hunter left he remained available to answer any follow up question i had via text or phone call. I recommend 5 stars for Hunter Holmes without any reservation whatsoever.

Not only did he evaluate the concrete and bricks on my front steps and driveway, he inspected the entire perimeter of my home for cracks, drainage issues and wood rot. I really appreciated his knowledge and honesty. Zech and Jacob called 15 minutes before arrival. Super friendly and polite. They communicated very well, before and after about the job they preformed. He displayed great professionalism and was very knowledgeable about the issues my home has. He explained what was wrong and why it happened as well as what can be done to repair it. Our Inspector, Chelsa, came to our Dayton home the other day to check on some suspected foundation settling. I was extremely impressed with her knowledge, confidence and the way she went about the inspection. She walked the entire house with me, asking questions, making sure she had the layout and all adjacencies correct. After the walk-through, she set up her equipment and showed me specifically where the major problem was located and explained how it would be corrected. When she delivered her full report, it was done very professionally. When I asked her about her company and how she felt about working for them, she replied that she was proud to work for OBA and that she had a great crew working in Dayton. Chelsa also mentioned their parent company Groundworks, and the fact that they are employee owned. (Full disclosure: I'm a big Mike Rowe fan, and heard the Groundworks CEO on his podcast recently). All in all, a very, very good experience.

We are doing some renovations to our house and decided that in order to do them, we finally needed to address the obvious foundation repairs necessary to do them correctly. I performed a Google search for foundation repair companies in the Houston area. Foundation Support Specialist was able to schedule me for that very same day. Brian E. was the field inspector assigned to give our house an inspection and estimate for foundation repair. We received notification about 20 minutes prior to his scheduled time by text messages and a phone call, stating that he was on his way. Brian arrived precisely at his scheduled time and was courteous and friendly. After he introduced himself and told us about his company Groundworks (formerly Foundation Support Specialist), he went over a checklist with us to get some history of our home. Afterwards he explained how he would be inspecting our house and what exactly he was looking for. He got to work and was very thorough and professional during his inspection. He measured and drew up a scale diagram of our house, then proceeded to use his Ziplevel to take altitude measurements of the floor throughout our house. His measurements showed that our foundation had sunk almost 2" on the NW corner of our house. He showed us a slideshow on why foundations settle, common practices to repair, and how Groundworks repairs foundations. When he was done, he gave us 3 levels of estimates. A minimal necessary repair, A mid range estimate, and a high end estimate that included extra piers on the SE corner to help support the opposite side of the slab from the repairs. He explained what each level included and answered any questions we had. Brian spent about 2 hours with us and all in all it was a pleasant experience. We have 2 more companies coming out in the next week to give us estimates, and unless they use a similar pier into bedrock system and drastically lower price, we will most likely choose Groundworks for our repairs.

Ryan, Jared and Jayden did an impeccable job on our foundation work. We had some major structural movement and it needed to be mitigated. They did a lot of work before I I could drink my first cup of coffee. This team of three does what a team of six or seven could do. Alpha Foundations pulled the permit, did all the prep and installed all of the structural work. I highly recommend them for the Tallahassee area foundation work.
