In addition to doing quality work, they went out of their way to be kind and helpful to my elderly mother. My dog escaped the yard while they were there – definitely not the crews fault. The crew lead walked with my mother to retrieve the dog so that she wouldn't risk falling. In my opinion that spoke volumes about character!!! We had our Radon mitigation completed through Groundworks. Micheal C. was the representative that came out to do the initial consult, testing, and planning. He went over the findings and how the mitigation system would be installed and how it would work. An appointment for installation was quickly arranged. Brady A., Stefan G., and Davis P. were the crew that installed the system. They called ahead of time to let me know their estimated time of arrival. They took the time to explain the process, what would be happening and why. They kept me updated and ensured I knew what was going on. Once completed, they ensured I understood how the system worked and any answered any trouble shooting questions. I have an older mid 1960's Ranch House that the walls were cracking, the foundation had cracks in it, and really needed attention. The Groundworks crew including Luke Cummings, the Zaw Tun, and Isaiah Leichtle were absolutely incredible. Twenty-five special plates and Foundation push piers were installed to the footing in a little over a 4 ft crawl space. It involved digging and using specialized equipment. The difficult hard work of the crew and their equipment will keep my foundation sound for the rest of my lifetime. The job was completed in less time than was planned. The crew made sure everything was laser accurately correct. When they left everything looked great and they even swept out my garage where they went in and out. Their time, knowledge, and hard work is greatly appreciated! The whole process from digitally measuring the floor (Randy James), getting the permit, engineer approval, and the actual work was exceptional! Luke, Zaw, and Isaiah were a pleasure to meet. Thank you for your hard work.

I appreciated the thorough crawl space consultation and inspection provided by Zachariah M this past week. It was almost a 2 hour consultation which I was warned about but for good reason. There is definite value in that consultation time because he went thru the crawl space and took detailed photos which he shared. He also shared a visual layout of the crawl space and did a live sketch drawing of the materials in different ink colors and how it will be laid and layered and numbered them to show how that would be reflected in the itemized cost. He even showed samples of the materials so I can see them in 3D. He gave me options that allowed me to mix and match and see exactly how that would affect the final product and cost estimate. And once we reached my comfortable price point along with his detailed guidance of the process and the work, I felt comfortable and confident in my decision to hire Groundworks for my crawl space project. My decision was based not just on price but how thorough the consultation was with receipts to show for it and so the time spent during the consultation has tremendous value. I look forward to providing a final review of the work by the crews as the next step.

He explained in detail, using several "tools" to present strong evidence the issues he found and how Groundworks would rectify the problems and in a very quick turnaround presented us with an estimate, which we thought was very reasonably priced as we had gotten other estimates that were almost double. They managed the permitting process through the town, also, which took a lot of work off my shoulders.The Groundworks administrative team (scheduling, engineers, permitting) was very responsive to my emails and phone calls. Ultimately, we did not purchase the house, but I would not hesitate for one second to call them in for my current home or any future homes with basement or foundation issues. He offered a few options, I explained my main concern was further loss of surface and tripping hazards for myself or anyone on property. I told him I would trust his professional judgment. And that was a great decision, the result exceeded what I thought would be possible. Josh & Omar kept a clean work area, and communicated with me as things progressed. I highly recommend Bakers from start to finish top notch service. From text, email, and phone I knew every step of the way. Bob did my initial assessment and he too was amazing. First of all this is a very difficult job for the workers any I appreciate the way they handled their business! The crew on my job was Micah, Shawn and Kayden. What an amazing team they have. They are such hard workers and explained every step in the process, They continuously kept me updated. They took the time to answer all my questions without judgement. They have fun while handling a scary job. We did encapsulation and they were positive about the project, I liked them so much that I asked the Pro Desk at Home Depot to add them to the list of preferred providers! So know you to know the final results? The crawl space looks amazing and all those future problems will no longer be an issue! Yes it is an expensive project, but now we have the piece of mind that we avoided future problems and dishing the right way! AFS has my highest recommendation!

Absolutely the best experience I've ever had with contractors, start to finish. Our basement was flooding during every heavy rain. We called a few companies and settled on Mount Valley for their reviews and response. They came out, quoted us a great price for a lot of work, and a few weeks later showed up to do it. Upon arrival, the site supervisor noticed that the layout we'd drawn up might not work with the water issues we were having. He made the change on site, got everything where it needed to be, and was out on time. The work ended up being less, and Mount Valley submitted a change order to actually give me my savings. John, Jeremy, Desmond, and Marty were all excellent communicators, diligent workers, and I couldn't be happier. Truly a pleasure of an experience. I wish Mount Valley could do my electrical and plumbing work next.

Ryan and Alex were so reassuring of all our fears and concerns, we knew we were in good hands. Alex and Jose were so polite and talk about hard working!! All three of them went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations, saving some landscaping we didn't expect to be saved. They took great care with our landscaping and yard and did not cause any unexpected damage to any of it! They did a great job with the clean-up at the end of the job as well. These three men worked great together as a team. We were happy to see them everyday and a little sad when we said good bye.
