James ******* is fantastic. He quickly identified several issues in our home using advanced equipment and visual inspection. He explained the process of the crawlspace encapsulation and showed us photos so that we understood exactly what is beneath our home. He has worked very well with the contractor from ****, Wayne, who is also excellent. The two of them have agreed on several things, and will work together to try to save our subfloor we were previously told had to be ripped out. We have very scary issues with our house (mold, sagging beams from a dishwasher leak and the foundation shifting due to this). James has drawn a diagram of the house as far as he can for now. Wayne from **** is doing the same. Our HVAC must be ripped out before James can evaluate the rest of our house, but he was able to show us where we have crawlspace and where it is slab. We highly recommend this very knowledgeable and professional technician. We trust him and are grateful he and the other contractor are able to work so well together to try to help us during one of the worst nightmares of our lives. Their calm mannerisms are helping us not panic, and we know they could have padded the bill and ripped out the sub floor. Not wanting to do this shows us even more so that we can trust James to make the best decision to help us. He got down in our crawlspace that is very short in freezing weather and took photos of everything. He is dedicated and he really cares.

Last week, I was "hosting" three young men from Indiana Foundation at a "basement repair party" at my home. I have to say that these three young men were absolutely amazing. Never have I ever been in the company of such men who were so happy to do their jobs. Dakota, Desmon, and Johntae never slowed down on their job, and they never seemed not to enjoy the company of each other. I live alone and since they left, I have been troubled by the silence. It's not the lack of noise of the drilling; it's the lack of laughter that I miss. Never once did I hear any of them loose his temper or say anything that did not cause laughter from each other. So far I’ve just worked with Michael from Groundworks and got a quote for some cement leveling. The process was easy and communication all-around has been very thorough. Micheal reached out before the appointment to introduce himself and confirm the information. He showed up on time and was very informative and the quote was within what I had researched. He went over the quote, sent it to me in email with a complete diagram of what would be taken care of. Today I met the technician’s Gavin and Johnathan today to let them in the house. Juan R., Alejandro S. and Ce'sar B. did a fantastic job removing all of the old crawlspace insulation, putting in the new insulation and cleaning and removing the old mold on the wood beams. They caulked all of the seams and added insulation to fully fill in the entire space. Highly recommended.

Foundation Recovery System Certified Field Inspector Doug Helfrich set the bar high for foundation inspectors. I called 2 other companies out to my Mom’s house to inspect her foundation due to a couple of cracks and a small puddle of water on the slab floor from the water main & basement spigot in the foundation’s front stem wall, and got 2 bids. Then came Doug..!! Doug throughly inspected the whole basement, from all 4 stem walls to the foundation slab floor. Doug is a professional, he’s extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in detail from small cracks inn the slab to the water leaking in from the front slab spigot, to things to keep an eye on, and/or future repairs that ‘may be needed’. What started out as a call that I expected to get another foundation quote for $10,000.00 – $15,000.00 turned out to be only a $200.00 fix to repack and reseal the water main & spigot in the front stem wall. Mom’s foundation was still solid. Talk about good news stress relief … if you need Foundation Repair this is the ONLY company to trust & call: FOUNDATION RECOVERY SYSTEMS & ask them to send Doug Helfrich…!!
