Transferrable, lifetime-of-home warranty on encapsulation was deciding factor. Noe Rivas called day prior to scheduled install to confirm. Showed up next morning on time with Pedro H. and Coler Calvin. They worked 13 hours. Removed old insulation, sprayed for mold and fungi, installed floor leveling base, pillars and i-beam and then sealed the crawl space . . .and rebuilt the crawl space access door. Clean up and haul away was meticulous. Couldn't tell they'd been there except for the new access door and, if you chose to open it and look inside, the now antiseptic, immaculate, dehumidifying crawl space. Amazing work ethic! These men were professional, competent, and polite. If you need a crew to fix your crawl space ask for Noe, Pedro and Coler.

Bryce Jacovetti came out to our house today to inspect and assess an area of block wall that was a concern to us. He checked our garage floor and walls, walked the outside foundation, checked the inside lower level and main floors. He then set up a laser level and checked the main floor for level. It was all level to 1/4 “. Then Bryce took his laser to the wall that had the area of concern and checked that for plumb. That too was within 1/4 “. Bryce then gave his assessment and told me there was no cause for concern and did not meet a grade 1, lowest level of foundation movement. What a relief! My wife had a sleepless night or two, worrying about this. I can’t thank Bryce enough for coming out and Groundworks for being a great company! Would 100% recommend!

Lenny took time to explain things when I popped down and was very patient with questions while working incredibly hard. We have friends who literally live in a swamp who had Busy Dog a couple years ago and their system has worked perfectly. They were getting water in their basement several times a year– now NOTHING. And I love the technology innovations by this company, the quality of the materials is top notch. Supervisor Santos Cruz, and mechanics Corey Markie and Lucus Butista were top notch, polite, professional, and skilled. This is the first time I have had a contractor/job supervisor keep me informed throughout the job at every stage, and actually do what they said they were going to do exactly. Santos Cruz answered any question I had in person by phone or text. Santos Cruz responded every time, and actually offered information to make sure all parties understood the entire process they were doing. Cannot say anything else except Jes and the people mentioned, did an excellent job and I would use them again for sure.

I would like to say my meeting with Alex Parker-a specialist with AFS-, was a great experience. I thought I might be having some foundation problems with my home. I googled and found AFS. I made a call and spoke with Katrina. She was quite pleasant to speak with, very mannerly and really understanding. She asked a few questions and immediately wanted to set an appointment the very next day. Shortly after I hung up the phone, Alex Parker gave me a call. He was the gentleman that was coming to do my inspection. I really was anxious on how the meeting and inspection would go…afraid I would be talked into something very expensive, mainly because I didn't know if I had issues or not. Needless to say, Alex was very thorough in his inspection. (almost 2 hours)…He came back in the house wanting to show me the pics he had taken and he was very quick to set my fears at rest….nothing majorly wrong. I immediately thanked MY JESUS for answered prayer. I also let him know I had been praying so hard that there would not be an expensive situation that I could not afford. I learned that Alex also led his life pleasing the Lord as well as his customers. I would recommend Alex Parker anytime to someone looking for foundation, concrete repair or waterproofing. Scot was a pleasure to work with — excellent communication leading up to the appointment, super knowledgeable and informative, and also had a great sense of humor. I was presented with several options, received honest guidance regarding what might be more or less urgent, and I never felt like I was being sold unnecessary services. The initial session takes a bit of time (again, very thorough), but this is communicated upfront. I’m in the process of getting a few estimates before I decide the path forward, but I am happy that I included this company on my short list.

We just concluded the first of two jobs for underpinning our 30 year old home. We will end up with two jobs because more was found to be done when Brandon and team showed up and realized the pinning placement was not 100% accurate. They adjusted the estimate to reflect the new placement and resubmitted the permit at no additional cost to me. We will be requesting more work be done in the near future so that we can raise the floor and level it out. For now we have underpinning in place that stabilizes the situation, secures our foundation so that no more damage is done, and we are pleased with that outcome. Kudos to Brandon and his team for adjusting on the fly and not accepting adequate but providing excellent service.

Here?s the actual review for the work I had done: Alpha Foundation sent a two man team to level/add support jacks under the floor of my 1939 home. The jacks were placed in the crawl space. Tori and Darien were efficient and professional, not something easy to be when you?re crawling around in such a confined space. The engineering (Jerry) and the crew (Mkoma, Waldo, Quaid and Joshua) were excellent and very professional. Mkoma provided regular updates, they all kept to promised arrival/departure times, and even finished the work on-budget and under the quoted time frame. The drain and pump perform well. We were really happy we choose AFS to work on our foundation issues. The inspector Chase Griffith was so thorough in his inspection and explanations of the issue and recommended remedy that it gave us complete confidence in the plan. When the team showed up to perform the work that confidence continued with foreman Tyler Moreland. He was always explaining what they were doing, referring back to the plan, and asking and answering any questions we had. I would definitely recommend them and, in fact, I already have. Mount Valley Foundation did a wonderful job on our crawl space. From the beginning, Clint was very easy to understand & gave us affordable options. The encapsulation only took 3 days & the crew finished up the third evening at 7:00 pm, just in time before Helene came. Our home usually would have flooded during a storm like this, but with Mount Valleys installation of the draining pipes, the water was pumped out successfully. The crew that did the installation was wonderful as well, thank you to Donovan Rougeaux, Isaiah Davis, & Cory Phillips for the quick installation.
