We just concluded the first of two jobs for underpinning our 30 year old home. We will end up with two jobs because more was found to be done when Brandon and team showed up and realized the pinning placement was not 100% accurate. They adjusted the estimate to reflect the new placement and resubmitted the permit at no additional cost to me. We will be requesting more work be done in the near future so that we can raise the floor and level it out. For now we have underpinning in place that stabilizes the situation, secures our foundation so that no more damage is done, and we are pleased with that outcome. Kudos to Brandon and his team for adjusting on the fly and not accepting adequate but providing excellent service.

We had some settling issues and asked 3 firms for repair estimates. Though AFS wasn’t the least expensive Jesse spent the time to work up the plan that specifically met our needs and explained what their crew would do. When Dustin and his crew arrived they walked us through what they were going to do, updated us along the way and provided photos and explanations of their work. We had never had this kind of work done before but feel we made the right decision to go with AFS. They were professional all along the way.

Big shout out to Patrick for getting me a deal on my houses foundation repair. He got everything measured and explained my options to me. He even answered my calls when I had a couple quick questions about our contract. The crew that came to work on my house was Brogan, Aaron, Caden, and Devin. These guys got the work done I was intially quoted for two days but they were able to finish it in one. They even worked with me when I had concerns about the vegitation around my house. These guys know what they are doing and are doing it good, I definitely recommend these guys!

Everything about Ohio Basement Authority is top-notch. Starting with Certified Field Inspector Alan Lefebre, who brought a high degree of professionalism to the mix. No pressure, very informative, and let me make my decision without any "coaxing" or "directing" by him. Needed a new sump pump, with all of the rain heading to Central Ohio, and he had a crew here within a few days (1 was a Sunday). Got us bumped up several notches to "emergency" status. The installation crew arrived on time, took special care not to soil our carpeting, cleaned up the work area thoroughly, and took time to go over the installation and the equipment (includes batter backup). I highly recommend this company.

Groundworks is an amazing company with great customer service! I called and scheduled for my free inspection and Stephanie was able to arrange it for the next day. I received text message reminders and Joseph, the inspector, called me in the morning prior to his arrival to also confirm the inspection. He was running a little late but again called in advance and sent a text message letting me know what time to expect him. Once he arrived, he listened thoroughly and walked the property with my husband and I. The inspection was smooth and explained our home’s foundation flaws which were minimal. No immediate repairs were needed, I especially appreciated his honesty. I recommend this company if you are looking for foundation repairs, crawl space repairs, or concrete lifting. My husband and I are honestly impressed on how well the inspection went and the professionalism the inspector and staff work and communicate. Thank you!

I booked Calgary Groundworks July of 2025 to preform poly jacking & crack repair on my front concrete steps & driveway . They were supposed to do it before Oct 25 & before the ground freezes. They had problems getting new service trucks from Ford & cancelled me until May 2026 . I started calling them May first 2026 & informed them that I had given them a deposit & I have a signed contract & when were they coming in May ? They said I would go on a list for sometime this summer. I informed them that I had been waiting a whole year and was told I would be one of the first done first wk in May 2026. I called several times and was told the crew is busy & they will try to fit me in , I told them that they know this is a small job for them half a day at best & surely they could take care of this small job . The dispatcher or coordinator put me onto an actual crew & they phoned me to say that they would call & try to fit me in . This review is to Highly recommend 10 out of 10 for the 2 field crew Yughurtha the foreman & Christan his assistant !!! Without their constant communication with me over a week period , this small project would have not been completed . Yughurtha & Christan had problems with their equipment at other job sites and with their Calgary office sending them to other projects rather then mine , they went out of there way to come over at the end of a work day to see if they could get the job done , it started to rain so we agreed they would come back next day to do the job . The next day they were re assigned another project and Yughurtha called and said he was told he had Togo to other jobs by his coordinator & I would have to wait another few weeks . Yughurtha said he was sorry because I have waited a year & was getting the run around from the Calgary office . He told me as soon as he had a job that went fast he would fit me in , he kept in constant daily contact with me & finished a job and came over & completed my small project . This would have not happened if it had not for this field crew going above and beyond to get this job done . When I would called the office I was told I am on the list & that was it . 1. Groundworks calgary needs to have the person answering the phones have the coordinator or dispatcher get back to me rather than putting it onto the field crews to do all the excuse's for the office . 2. They should have at least 3 spray guns per truck , instead of cancelling because the one and only spray gun kept breaking down . 3. This review is about the 2 field staff that went above and beyond to supply customer service where the Calgary office did not ! 4. The job was completed in the half a day and the workmanship was excellent , again the Calgary office has to support their field crews to the maximum because they are first line contacts with the customers . I live in an over 55 semi retirement community and all my Neighbors were over to see the work being done & I am sure Calgary Groundworks will be getting more business from this community. 5. The work is completed & this review is not a complaint on the Calgary Groundworks field crews , it is to bring light to the office that coordination & pre sold work should be their primary focus ! I had a great experience working with Rhett at AFS. He was incredibly thorough with his assessment and explained everything. My house was built in the 50s, so it has its quirks. He assured me that repairing the moisture damage in the crawlspace was step one in our home reno. A crawlspace repair is definitely not something you want to spend money on, but I feel confident it was worth every penny!

We had Ohio Basement Authority out to do a complete encapsulation on our 2500 square foot crawl space. From the start of the process our sales representative Joel was extremely helpful. He worked up several different options for us and never tried to over sell he just genuinely tried to help us through the process. Once the work began Richard and his crew, John, Johan and Jhorfry were extremely professional. They always communicated when they would be arriving, updated us on the progress and worked long hours to hit their intended goals for the day. They left each day with their work area clean and organized and made sure at the end of the project that everything was how it was originally.
