I went into this basement project a little nervous, it seemed like a big commitment to put this amount of trust into Tar Heel Basement Systems. We had a long term problem with water ponding in the crawl space underneath our home anytime it rained. We had multiple people come out to try and diagnose the source of the leak, but none of them were 100% certain. Tar Heel Basement Systems blew me away immediately. The inspector, Dave Brereton, came out and within 15 minutes had identified the root cause as well as a plan to fix it. A few weeks later, the crew came out and completed the job in under two days. The difference is unbelievable. From Dave to the install crew, this company knows their stuff and conducts themselves professionally. A great experience, and I encourage anyone with similar problems to give them a chance. Thank you Dave and crew!

Foundation Recovery Systems customer service from start to finish was a 5+ star experience. You are in constant communication via text whether it was for the appointment date/time, text that the inspector was enroute, phone call, you name it. Kevis Estes was our inspector; I had informed him to prior to coming out that I wasn't sure the cracks in our foundation were a serious problem, but something I wanted to address. When Kevin arrived, he was very friendly, offered to take his shoes off (we are a shoeless home), and surveyed the issue. Kevin took a look at the issue presented and was very honest that he didn't believe anything needed to be fixed. This put my mind at ease because most encounters I've had, businesses almost always try and come away with some type of money being spent. This was not the case. Kevin took the time to visit other areas of the basement and outside foundation to ensure no other areas needed attention. Thank you FRS for your time while Ill recommend you to any family or friends in the future. Kevin was GREAT!!!

Day of the inspection Justin C. called to inform me he was available to meet a little earlier than planned. Justin was professional throughout tue appointment and provided a thorough analysis on the issue I would like addressed with the foundation of my home before it becomes a real problem. As part of the inspection Justin also inspected the entire foundation of my home including the crawlspace as well as in the living area for his analysis. Justin's thorough inspection as well as explanation of his observations on work needed to resolve any issues was appreciated. I decided to proceed with an agreement with AFS to perform work on the foundation of my home. I will update my review of AFS once the work has been completed.

While customer service is paramount for us, and he certainly deserves a 10 out of 10, FRS was a substantially better value from a cost standpoint as well, compared to estimates we received elsewhere. Our driveway/sidewalk was uneven and becoming a hazard for neighborhood walkers. We contacted Ohio Basement Authority to give us an estimate and complete the project. Our estimator, Charles, was prompt, polite and professional. Today, John and Ethan came to level the concrete. From the moment that they got out of the truck, they were exceptional. They kept us informed through each step of the process and the work could not have been better! They represented the company with pride and professionalism. Our driveway/sidewalk is nearly back to the way it was when it was installed nineteen years ago. I would recommend this company and these employees time and again!

I've been experiencing water in my basement for some time. I contacted Foundation Recovery in regards to my issues. Brian Gertler came out and went over the process of the system and how it works. In turn, Tyler Sears came out to install the system and explain how it works and what to expect. I'm very pleased at this point. In my area the last couple days we've had rain. Last night (3-27-25) we had significant rain. I checked my basement this morning and I'm very pleased to see the system worked. No more worries. Good Investment. JES came in to waterproof my basement, which is a huge job, as they had to put a drain around the full perimeter of my basement and install a vapor barrier in a fully finished basement. This was after I had visible mold. The person who came in for the quote, Brendan, didn't try to sell me a whole bunch of extra stuff, told me straight up how it works, what they were going to do, and did so in a timely manner. He was very helpful with all my questions and woes. The crew that came out, the foreman Abdul, co-foreman Joseph, and installer Nilton were all professional and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I knew there was mold still in the wall, so they took the whole wall down; most companies would not do that, nor would they put the steps back, which they did the best they could, which I was very happy about, because there was mold hiding all the way up the wall behind some of the studs. They worked with all my needs, scheduled the job, and completed the job to my satisfaction over about a two-week period. Most other companies were 6 weeks out to schedule a job. They did all of this, pulled permits, and had it inspected for a better or same price than two other direct competitors.

Fsm was really patient with me and very communicative. They got the job done in 2 and 1/2 days and it was a lot of work! There was always communication and I didn't have to lift a finger to do anything. They took care of the permits, the plumber, and the electrician. Everyone was super friendly and my young son who was very interested in all of the work got to take a look and they talked to him about what was going on and what they were doing. They updated me multiple times throughout the process And made sure I was satisfied with all the work. They did a good job of cleaning up afterward as well! They made sure to inform me about the new sump pump, the alarm, and the dehumidifier so that I understood exactly what everything did and how to maintain everything. This was definitely a great investment into my home shout out to Miguel, Richard, Jasmany for all the hard work in the super cold weather!
