Tom inspected our home, took measurements, and then educated us on where things might be problematic in parts of our foundation. He was very professional and helpful and (most importantly) did not try to hard sell us on their services, but instead considered what was best for our current situation. Carlos, Julio, Margarito, and Edwin were punctual and very hard working. They took extra precautions not to damage our yard with the machinery. Carlos took time to explain the process and let me view the work throughout the day. He was extremely polite and tried to ease my fears. FSM of Traverse City and Josh G are awesome! I bought my house last June knowing the basement got wet and kind of flooded every spring. Last Summer when, (I can’t remember his name) came to do an inspection of the support poles they had installed a year or two before I bought the house he sold me on getting the whole basement water proofed. I’ll tell you one thing. If you think you need it done, but can’t afford it, you need to find a way to afford it. I didn’t realize how musty and stinky my house was before I had FSM do the work plus getting the awesome dehumidifier. They just came to do their annual inspection of everything and I only had one problem or rather question. I went up stairs to use the bathroom and when I came back downstairs Josh already had gotten me some dates for warranty work. I feel like I just doubled the value of my home by having them come in. Thank you FSM!

I recently had Alpha Foundations insulate and encapsulate my crawlspace. DJ came out and provided a thorough inspection and report of the existing conditions. Joseph, Will, Dan, and Jeff came out to do the work. Everyone was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Communication was too notch and they arrived on time, ready to work, with all the tools and materials needed to do the job.

Our experience with IBA was fantastic from beginning to end. We discovered some pretty bad foundation damage in our garage and IBA had someone out the next day. Michael Kurr was our estimator – he was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain what was happening and what could be done. When the team showed up 6 weeks later, they couldn’t have been kinder and more helpful. Nick Swanson and Devon Alexander were our main team, and they always stopped to take the time and explain everything to us in a patient manner, despite fighting constant flooding in our dig. I was very impressed with how they were able to execute the plan exactly as stated, despite multiple setbacks from Mother Nature. Very impressed with these guys. I really hope I never need them again, but if I do, I know exactly who to call 🙂

We hired Groundworks to do a lift and fill of our driveway/walkway. Our sales rep Brent was very knowledgeable and able to work with us to get our job done in a very timely matter (a lot sooner than expected – yay!). When it came time to do the actual concrete work, Zack and Samara did an INCREDIBLE job! They went above and beyond and did such seamless work. This company is great. Friendly, trustworthy, polite and efficient. Micah began the process for me and sent in his awesome teams… Cameron, Tammy, Ben, Dillon and Rickey. My house was sinking and anything that was dropped and round would immediately roll to the corner of the house. I made calls for almost 2 years to find someone to help me and Micha came to my rescue. I was super tired of my leaky basement and decided to do something about it. I looked into Basement Authority because I was seeing commercials and ads all over the place. I read reviews and watched multiple videos of the work they did. I contacted them through the website for an estimate. They sent Mike Cornecelli to do my estimate. Mike was very open and honest about what I needed and what he could do to help me. I can imagine there is a more knowledgeable person out there because he did a very thorough inspection and took pics and measurements. He made a plan on his laptop and showed me exactly what was going to happen and scheduled my appointment for installation. I needed wall supports, a gutter system and vapor barrier to fix the issues going on. My original date of install was moved up 3 weeks, which I am really grateful for. I had good communication throughout the whole process and the men worked every day until it was completed. I have zero complaints and highly recommend everyone use Basement Authority to fix your basement issues. I have learned so much about why leaks happen and how to correct them. Every man on the job was extremely polite and quick to answer any questions I had. They also offer a lifetime guarantee for the life of the home and yearly inspections to ensure everything is working properly. Contact Mike C and your problems will be fixed correctly and quickly. This was a big job, and they were more than up to the task. Kornbred has an eye for detail, and he is a great problem solver. He explained the whole process to me and kept me updated throughout. I have a porch off my house that has been showing signs of settling and separation from the house. I put it for an estimate and Andrew Young came out to inspect, he was much more thorough than I was expecting. Contractors usually take a look and throw a number at you and ask when you want to start the job. Andrew Young actually put on a Tyvek suit and crawled under my porch to take pictures and document the angles of the sloping with a laser level. I was incredibly impressed with his knowledge and dedication. After he put his tools away he actually did a rendering on his laptop of what his suggested solution was going to be to solve the issue permanently. I’m still weighing my options of shoring up my porch or doing a tear down and building a deck but if I choose the shoring up option I have complete faith in GroundWorks thanks to the professionalism shown by Andrew.

The foundation inspector John took his time, explained everything, went above and beyond helping us deal with our mortgage company, called and texted whenever we had a question or gave us an update on our process. The team that came out to do the job was awesome! The Forman Josh was super nice, personable, knowledgeable. Updated us through the process, willing to answer any questions.
