Pierson White, service technician, was very thorough and saw things that would have otherwise gone unnoticed had it not been for his attention to detail. For a first impression, he’s an excellent representative of Groundworks! The company immediately followed up within a couple days and got us scheduled for work to be completed suggested by Pierson, especially since we are selling to downsize this spring and wanted our home to be move-in ready for new owners. Foreman Alex Young and co-foreman Matt Engel, arrived with smiles, very personable, and very detailed in work performed. They went above and beyond their tasks to lift and fill areas that needed addressed; none of which were necessary that prevented use of our driveway, but all of which were very important aesthetically in selling our home as “move-in” ready. I needed a sidewalk lifted and some voids under the garage floor filled, so I contacted AFS do get an estimate for the repairs. The estimator, Jordan Clark, did a thorough inspection and told us what was needed. I decided to go ahead with the repairs, and this morning Parris Houchins and Aiden Langford completed the repairs. The sidewalk is back up where it’s supposed to be, the trip hazards gone, and the garage floor shored up so it shouldn’t crack and settle down the road. Parris was very helpful in explaining what they were doing. I’d recommend AFS Knoxville for your sidewalk/driveway lifting needs.

Absolutely the best experience I've ever had with contractors, start to finish. Our basement was flooding during every heavy rain. We called a few companies and settled on Mount Valley for their reviews and response. They came out, quoted us a great price for a lot of work, and a few weeks later showed up to do it. Upon arrival, the site supervisor noticed that the layout we'd drawn up might not work with the water issues we were having. He made the change on site, got everything where it needed to be, and was out on time. The work ended up being less, and Mount Valley submitted a change order to actually give me my savings. John, Jeremy, Desmond, and Marty were all excellent communicators, diligent workers, and I couldn't be happier. Truly a pleasure of an experience. I wish Mount Valley could do my electrical and plumbing work next.

This five star review is for Ethan Mooney, the JES repair person who recently helped us with our JES project. Over 6 months after having JES complete installing a liner, dehumidifier and pump under our family room addition, we still noticed water. The service repair person, Ethan Mooney, recently came and found that the pump was never plugged in! Ethan was professional and not only fixed that easy problem but installed new equipment and inspected the liner. He was wonderful.

We had a sudden issue with the foundation, Adrian S came out and set things up for us, and the crew showed up really fast and did a magnificent job. Our crew Mike L, David L. Elyas L, Robert T, and Stafford C. could not have been better. We were facing a major structural issue with the house which could have resulted in untold damage. Thank goodness I found them, and made the call. Adrian really walked my wife through each and every part of the process which helped a great deal in her understanding of the need for the work. They explained every single step of the process as they did it, they worked with us to minimize the disruption. They showed us what they were doing, and actually found another issue which could have been a major subsidence for which we are exceptionally thankful. While any foundation issue is a panic situation they were able to really put my wife's mind at ease, they raised my daughters room over an inch, and the garage over 2 and stopped the cracking dead in its tracks. The doors now shut properly, and the job was as neat as possible, and they cleaned up very well afterwards which was nice. The moved the downspouts away from the house to perfect locations and set the pop valves well so I do not have to worry about the mower. They also were very careful and did not damage any of the tie rods on the porch which was very thoughtful. If you live in the South Texas and Cibolo area, and don't call these guys you are making a bad mistake. Yes, it is expensive, but they made the process transparent, and easy. If I could give them SIX stars I would do so. I just feel sorry for the pouring rain and humidity that they had to suffer through.

Job was quoted, accepted, and then they followed through exactly as promised. Mike Zelewski went above and beyond my expectations getting the huge job done when promised. We have a 3 year old son so getting our basement fixed was #1 priority. MVFS made us feel like they respected that. I 100% recommend them for any foundation service needs. My job was 60 linear feet, 12 inches wide, about 5 inches deep. Closed gutter system into sump pump. All interior walk out basement. They also installed vapor barrier on all interior block walls.

We got our crawl space encapsulated a couple years ago with Mount Valley. We needed a repair on the entryway and Nathan came out to get that done. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and got the job done efficiently and in a reasonable time. He went above and beyond by relocating a wall mounted plastic box that was overlapping our crawl space door! This will make it much easier to open and access the crawl space in the future! He also organized the wires and cables near the entrance and cleaned up the debris there too. Overall a great experience working with Nathan!
