He called the evening before to confirm and get some details, and was there early the next morning. We walked through all the areas and he explained what each area was (this is just residue from dried water), etc and even asked me to show him the basement. He offered suggestions for what can be done and found nothing wrong. I will be referring him and this company to everyone I meet. He could have said it will be something and didn’t. I had a lot of anxiety about doing significant work to the house as I have just retired in the last year and still have a lot of decisions to make regarding if I will keep a residence here. Will was very understanding about my anxiety and gave me all of the options so I can relax and take the time I need to think through my overall situation thoroughly and make the best decision going forward. Had an emergency water pipe leak with water running into the basement where Groundworks had already installed a sump pump and drainage system. The pump clogged up with mud and wouldn’t work. Josh Moreno responded and worked so hard getting the system apart and cleaned out. Unfortunately he couldn’t finish until we got someone out to dig up the front yard and replace main water line. Josh was here first thing Monday morning and finished cleaning the system out, tested everything, and got everything working again. We are so thankful he responded to our home and took care of it. Thanks Josh!

Groundworks installed push piers to stabilize my home in 2023. What caused me to look into potential issues with the foundation was the development of vertical cracks in the corners of a room in the basement. Prior to the installation, Groundworks took elevation measurements and an external engineering firm came out afterwards to assess the situation with my foundation. The engineering firm's report confirmed the need for stabilization and provided me with two options. I proceeded with one of the options. The installation with Groundworks went smoothly and the installers informed me throughout their multi-day effort. I signed up for a five year service plan and recently had my second annual check-up. James, the service technician for this visit, was very knowledgeable and relayed relevant information to me during the walkthrough and measurement process. He had a trainee with him and it was clear this young man was in good hands. The push piers, based upon the comparison of Ziplevel elevation measurements conducted during the annual check-ups, appear to be doing its job stabilizing my home.

I recently hired this company to install two basement egress windows in one of my rental properties, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! From the first call, they were super quick to respond—got back to me right away, answered all my questions, and scheduled everything efficiently without any hassle. The team that came out was incredibly professional: polite, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with egress installations. They did a fantastic job on both windows—clean cuts, solid work around the foundation, great attention to detail, and they left the site spotless when they were done. The new windows look perfect, meet code, and add real value (and safety!) to the rental. If you’re a landlord or homeowner needing egress windows, I highly recommend them. Excellent customer service & inspection! I have a large crack in my concrete slab & other areas in the slab that show signs of sinking. This is my first home, and I have felt overwhelmed by the prospect of fixing this problem. In addition to the slab issue, I have a crawl space that needs help. I'm am so glad I called Groundworks, and they sent Brendan over to do my inspection. Booking online was easy, and Brendan called me the day before the inspection to talk about my home. He texted before he arrived for the appointment. He spent a lot of time with me walking through the house to look at all the problem areas. He also did a thorough inspection of the outside of the house. He was kind & patient in explaining what he was seeing. He also had several videos to show me which further explained what was going on with the slab and why it was cracking. The videos also explained how Groundworks will fix my slab issue & my crawl space issues. Brendan explained the work process, the warranty and continued services they will provide to keep annual tabs on the slab & the work they have done. At one pt, I had a question and Brendan called a colleague who is a foreman on these projects so he could make sure I had all the information I needed. We talked to Chris on speaker phone, and we decided that my slab should be stabilized, not lifted, due to the pipes inside it. The project will take place in a couple weeks. It will take 2 days (including demo of the current parquet floor), and will involve them drilling several holes in the slab in order to inject the polymer which will get into all the spaces washed away by soil erosion, moisture damage, etc that will keep the slab from moving further. I am blown away it will only take a couple days. In addition, the slab project will only cost approx $10k. I had nightmares about it costing upwards of $30k. (I just had no idea what something like this would cost.). I'm so impressed by the technology Groundworks will use, their reputation across the country and Brendan's outstanding customer service. I felt like I was being educated & supported about my home projects, not "being sold" anything. I will post a follow up review once the slab work is done. I have high hopes. I also plan to have Groundworks handle the crawl space project once the ground thaws. I now have confidence and piece of mind thanks for Groundworks. My house may not be a money pit nightmare after all!

Our inspector, Wylace Liggon, was fantastic and set the stage for a smooth project. The crew, Rafael Garcia Lopez, Jose Lovato, and Wilton Mendoza were a total powerhouse. The second they arrived on-site, they jumped straight to work and didn't stop. Their communication was easy and transparent, and I was so impressed by the amazing care they took with our property. They installed a sump pump in my 1940's basement then a few months later, encapsulated a crawl space. Both jobs were done professionally and in the time they said it would be done.
