We had a wonderful experience with JES. We started noticing some cracks in our walls/floors and called for a consultation. Brian was extremely thorough and explained everything that would be necessary to get things fixed. He detailed all the options for payment/financing (since foundation work is not cheap!) and helped ease our fears a little bit about completely breaking our budget. JES took care of getting all permits for us. The true reason for 5 stars, however, is Santos and his crew. They were INCREDIBLE. They went above and beyond to make sure the work they did was done well. The whole team was incredibly friendly and very communicative throughout the process. There were a couple a snags at the beginning that could have been problematic, but Santos and his crew ensured that everything ran smoothly. The one thing that really stood out to us – Santos changed the original plan to make it more appealing, even though it was a little harder and more work for him. He said "if it were my house, I would want it to look nice, not the easiest solution." Highly, highly recommend if you need any foundation repair!

My inspector, Carter Lassiter, was very professional and educational in helping me understand exactly what I needed to have done underneath my house to ensure my 100 yr+ historical home remained in tact. Prior to Carter coming out, I had paid another company to do what I thought was going to fix my crawl space and unfortunately after one year I started to see issues arise again. Wood rot, moisture, etc. When Sam and Josh (the production team) arrived, they were just as professional and informative of the work they would be doing in my crawlspace. I felt confident from the first inspection all the way to the production team who completed the work to correct and truly fix my crawlspace. Having a warranty from Tarheel Basement makes me feel much more comfortable this go round compared to who I used before. 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND

Nikki Myers was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was kind and professional and knew her job. The crew that came to do the actual work were from St. Louis – Drake was their "foreman". They came all the way from St. Louis to help with back log of work for Fort Wayne, IN. They did the job and kept me informed as to what was happening with each step. Pocket digging and backfilling is the way to go. That's what they did on the back of the house. The east end and front of the house, they dug a trench and then backfilled – leaving quite a mess for elderly people to have to contend with, but I guess that's all part of it. Photos show back of house after backfill – not too bad, we can handle that. The other pic is the front of the house and the east end is even worse – not sure how we're going to tackle that. But our house is stable and it's warranted for life. Thanks Ground works!

Nick was great in all aspects of his job, and we really wanted foundation recovery to do the work, but sorry to say, Nick we really didn't want to put out that kind of money at this time. Nick gets 5 stars, but the overall cost is only reason for the 4 stars. I do say though, you get what you pay for.

Most important name to remember is CODY . Last year I had to have screw jacks installed on one side of my house (split level home). The groundworks crew (previously without Cody and Erin) was mehhh. They tried to upsell and say I needed an additional 4k of work more than I already agreed upon and actually needed. Nope just do the original work. So a year later in comes CODY for warranty inspection due to a hump in my floor. This guy is phenomenal, on time, polite, explains everything with pictures. What a relief to get customer service like this, it's almost like watching an old time movie where everything was perfect. They did offer upgrades, but they weren't pushy about it, I respect that. Couldn't be happier with CODY and Erin. 6 stars for CODY! ****UPDATE**** The initial work was done by Bay area underpinning, before Groundworks.

I was extremely happy with the work. My garage slab had cracked and dropped over an inch at one end leaving a big gap under the garage door. When they came to survey, they caught 2 other voids under the whole front edge and at tge other corner. This was during the winter. Once the ground warmed up, they arrived on the scheduled day, about an hour early! The whole job only took about 45 min. Brandon and Marc were friendly and professional and piped in exactly enough foam to raise the slab level. I was impressed with their finesse. Nothing wasted, they left my garage clean and looking great.

Scheduling was a bit rough but I own part of that as it was hard to make myself available for the 2 days scheduled to install the 5 push pillars in the sagging kitchen addition. But Charles W., Vinnie S., and Solomon arrived in time and had them installed in 4 hours! The next day they came super early to wait for the permit inspector, all cleared, replaced the landscaping and the deck boards. Perfect! I hope I don’t ever need them again but if I do, they are the ones I will call for any of my basement or foundation issues

They did pier work on my home, in this awful cold, and now it’s back to level! They also cleaned up the property thoroughly. Highly recommend.
