These guys attended to the work with diligence and care. They were thoughtful and took care that the work area was neat as well as our home. When all was complete, I inspected the crawl space and was overwhelmed with the attention to detail and how meticulous Tim, Kody, and Sid are upon me seeing the results of their labor. I left a review initially when Groundworks came out because they did a decent job and cleaned up and all that. Unfortunately, my Hardscape guy wasn’t thrilled with the work that they did (he needs to replace pavers around the driveway and didn’t like the pitch of the surface), so I called and Groundworks came out again today and spent over six hours making it right! I absolutely appreciate the good business practices of this company and making things right. It looks good to me and hopefully my Hardscape guy is happy with the result and can work around it.

Gardner came to do an inspection of my basement and provide a quote. I had received other quotes that only provided for a single sump pump install at outrageous prices. He was very thorough, took two hours to measure, inspect, provided videos and explanations on everything, and the quote was shockingly affordable with so much more work I was ecstatic! I am getting a three sump pump with back up battery, and so much more for basically what the others quoted. And, to have the option to finance through Greensky was the cherry on top! If you are in King County, ask for Gardner @ GROUNDWORKS – you won’t regret it!

We had our crawl space encapsulated and a sump pump and dehumidifier installed in our 1985 home. Ben and his team did an excellent job and were professional and courteous throughout the installation. The reason for the four-star review is related to communication and scheduling. We first contacted Alpha Foundations on September 26. Our inspector, David, was friendly and knowledgeable, and we agreed on the scope of work and paid our deposit. The job was originally scheduled for November 17, however no one arrived that day and we did not receive a call. After reaching out, we were informed that the permit had been delayed due to county approval issues. Based on county records, it appeared the permit had not been submitted in a timely manner. The job was ultimately rescheduled and completed on December 29 without issue. The company did attempt to move the installation up sooner, but we were unable to accommodate due to holidays and vacation plans. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the work and the installation team. My only disappointment was the lack of communication and follow-through leading up to the install date.

I went outside several times to check it out. They all were steady paced work around each other like a dance of sorts. Great teamwork. Super polite and easy to talk too.
