My husband and I had been fighting with D. R. Horton for over 3 years to fix the foundation in our new home they sold us 4 years ago. AquaGuard was recommended my our structural engineer as a viable solution to our problem. Adrian Haynes, Field Representative, came to our house and professional analyzed our foundation issues and gave us a solution to stabilized it against future drift. Based upon his detailed analysis their engineers drafted a blueprint, set a date for repairs and acquired the appropriate approvals from the proper government agencies. The repair work was expertly completed by Audiel Soria (Crew chief) and his experienced team in two half days. With the exception of 4 small concrete patches there was little evidence that they had been here at all. Steve and I highly recommend AquaGuard

Alex went the extra mile and they sealed the cracks and ground down the rough edges on my cement patio so that they were smooth and not sticking up. They were on time and when they left you couldn't even tell that they were there, everything was nice and tidy. Alex explained the process and what they were going to do and also showed me what they were going to do and how they were going to do it prior to starting the job. After the job was finished we went down to the patio and I inspected it to make sure it was to my satisfaction. Actually, they explained the process better to me than the Groundworks representative did when he came to give us an estimate. The cement patio lifting was actually the second part of the job that Groundworks did. The price that we were quoted was way more reasonable than I expected it to be. I also liked that each job was paid for separately after completion.

After I consulted with another popular foundation repair company in town, I wanted to get another opinion. I then had Jan from Innovative Basement Authority came over. He looked around the house outside and inside for issues. He used a laser to measure my house for sedimentation. He observed to cracks and listened to my concerns. He took his time and spent an hour checking. When he was finished he gave me the best news! He cannot offer me a solution since he doesn’t think my problem is the settling. He said just basically to fix the minor cosmetic issues that comes with the age of the house and observe. Thank you for your honesty and expertise. The world needs more people like you! Before I ever contacted Groundwork’s, I was told by a private contractor that my entire kitchen would need to be torn out to fix the structural damage under the house. However, I called Groundworks, which was the company I had hoped would have a better solution, and they did! For our particular needs, I worked with two separate teams. The first team was from Nashville. Shane was the foreman and the two men who worked with him were Mike and Heli. After we removed some flooring, these guys worked tirelessly to dig out a crawl space, haul the dirt away, remove rotten rem boards, spray mold from wood, jack the house up, and rebuild what was torn out. By the time these guys finished, I could noticeably see and feel a more level floor. Also, I want to add these guys came in the sleet and ice, which made their days longer and harder. Yet, this team stayed positive, respectful, and hard working. The second team was from Southaven. Eugenio was the foreman and the two mean who worked with him were Jamil and Jose.This team was equally professional, hard working, courteous, and punctual. These men replaced some addional rem boards, added additional supports to further firm up the floor, and actually further leveled the existing structure. This team was equally pleasant to have working in your home; they worked very hard but had an equally positive attitude. What is most impressive is the actual work done by Groundwork’s as this is not a job just anyone can do. Both teams were highly trained and experienced. In addition, these guys came to fix the problem. There are no delays, no disappearing, and no half fixes. Despite this company being national, communication was easy and effortless from the initial conversation to the men working. I am so glad that I called Groundwork’s for a project deemed impossible. Groundworks completed the project quickly and thoroughly. It was hassle free for me as Groundwork’s delivered on all of their commitments from communication to execution to finishing and cleaning up. I inquired via phone number (basement flood) and instantly I was contacted and someone (Landon Dungo) came out that day. He was very informative and I understood everything he explained. The crew came from East Point and the lead was Kevin. Initially there was a huge misunderstanding about what was to take place and within an hour it was all worked out and th job was successfully completed. I was very happy and satisfied with the work, th clean up and their professionalism. Though it haven’t rained to see if rain is coming in my basement on that side it I’m certain my problem has been resolved. I highly recommend them.

Foundation work can be expensive, but it can help to lessen the bite when you deal with good people. Groundworks of Grand Junction, CO recently completed a significant stabilization project for us. The crew foreman was an impressive young man named Talon (yes, like the bird claw). He and his crew got after it, completing the project before the scheduled finish date. He was knowledgable, personable, helpful, and clearly interested in doing the job right. I also dealt with Groundworks' service tech Jeremy Brown before and after the project. He surveyed the situation and worked with his people to develop a stabilization plan that was approved by my structural engineer. After the stabilization work was finished and had a few months to settle in, Jeremy retuned recently to re-measure floor elevations to see if they were where they were meant to be, and everything checked out. Jeremy is a good guy to work with; I trusted him and was always pleased to see him show up at the job. Kudos to both Talon and Jeremy who inspired confidence in the work Groundworks performed at our house.

The beginning estimate was such a smooth process with lots of pictures, options, and clear explanations of problem areas. Easy choice to move forward with AFS and I'm glad I did. I imagined it works be an all day job, but the crew came and went in under 5 hours. Jorge, Hilmer, and Jesus did an absolutely awesome job. They had to dig under one of my flower beds and even replanted what they had to dig under! They were all incredibly friendly and efficient. I would recommend this company and crew to anyone with foundation concerns.

We had our crawlspace encapsulated by AquaGuard because of serious drainage issues 5 1/2 years ago. Everything went well at the time – they were courteous, responsive, and professional, and we were very happy with the work that was done. But what most people want to know when they pay for a big job like this is whether it’s going to hold up in the long run. Recently we’ve had to do some other unrelated work that has required multiple contractors to go into our crawlspace again. Every single one of them has commented on how great our crawlspace still looks. I think that really speaks volumes to the true quality of the work, that even after 5 1/2 years it still looks like it was done just a few months ago. We haven’t had a single drainage issue with our foundation since then, and if I ever need work like this done again, AquaGuard is the only company I would even consider calling.

Chris was very professional and did a thorough job of explaining everything they needed to complete to make the crawl space up to standards. Jalen communicated when he was on the way and when he arrived. Explained everything, cleaned up afterwards, and provided me with pictures of the work that was done. I need an additional outlet for the condensation pump and once installed, he even offered to come back to complete that installation. He explained that how he set it up, the condensation run to the sub pump. I was impressed with the entire staff and their professionalism.

Over two years ago i had another individual come out, check my foundation and preceded to tell me that my house was going to collapse if my 1/2 drop working towards the main drain, went any further. Saying the only reason the collapse had not occurred yet, was due to the solid poured concrete walls. No solution other than at this point the house will stay standing. With that knowledge my house was on the verge of falling in on itself I finally decided to call sometime later to see if the inevitable was here. Thank goodness I got Mark Dunbar! Wish I would have asked the first time he was out instead of waiting longer. Come to find out all the worry over the past two years was unnecessary! He took the time to explain in detail why the house was good and what to look for in the event something does need to be addressed. You can see Marks passion for delivering correct information while keeping customers interest first and foremost! I’ll definitely be calling him when we need to purchase our quality made whole house dehumidifier!! Thanks again Mark for the phenomenal customer service!!

Groundworks provided an encapsulation of the crawl space beneath our townhouse. It involved water seal and foam board for the walls and floor. We'd had similar work done a couple years ago and we were very unhappy with the results. Though Groundworks had a higher quote, some of which was the removal of materials from the previous company's efforts, the end result is great and so far we feel it's been worth every penny. Following the initial work, we've had a couple minor issues, and we're pleased to say the company addressed them effectively and efficiently, responding with a crew within 48 hours of our telling them about the problem. Their office person (Michele) did a great job of coordinating their field people and made doing business with the company a pleasant experience. We're in our late 70's so touring crawlspaces is not on our bucket list – the Groundworks people were happy to provide pictures of what they were doing or had done throughout the job. We're very pleased with the service and the courtesy of their people. Special thanks to Antonio. A cautionary note about highly negative reviews on Yelp and elsewhere. Before you take those reviews seriously, check the reviewer's profile and see if during their entire lifespan on Yelp they have ever, ever, ever written a positive review about anything. A few years ago, I had my crawl space enclosed, and my front steps and my side walks raised because they were uneven. I have a clause in my contract for the work to be inspected for five years at no cost. When they inspected in March for 2026, the Ground Works employee noticed the sidewalks were not even and some caulking was peeling away. I was scheduled for repairs of the sidewalk in May, 2026 and was not charged for this work. Way Lay called me in the morning to tell me he would be at my home in the afternoon. Prior to his arrival, Way Lay called to let me know the exact time of his arrival. He was right on time. He informed me of what they would be doing and Lu Chin assisted in the job. Both were very professional and detailed in their work. They worked quickly, but did not miss any details. After the job was done, Way Lay reviewed what he had done and we three looked over the finished project. It was very well done and they cleaned up their work area. They again asked if I had any questions. Both employees were focused and attentive to the task at hand. Thanks for employing such competent and dependable workers.
