We have been trying for years to finally get the basement room under our porch to stay dry and this is the first time we've actually succeeded, thanks to FSM, particularly Quentin H, Jordan S, Anthony H and Frank who worked on our project. I should probably preface this with the fact that our house is nearly 100 years old and no construction project, from plumbing, to electrical to construction has ever gone smoothly because this place is just full of character and unexpected surprises that screw up everything you are trying to do. The initial install in August went great. The guys were very knowledgeable and efficient. We had started this project because, every time it rained outside, it also rained inside. We had cups, vases, buckets, anything that could hold water placed everywhere collecting all the drops pouring in while futilely running a dehumidifier 24/7. Turns out that wasn't what was farming mold on our walls and the August worked fixed the moisture levels right away, so we've actually been able to breath in there since August, which is great. But the house struck again with its mystery leaks through the porch cap and the indoor rain persisted. But, when I suspect anyone else might have given up, Quentin and his team persisted, returning several times a month, every month since to find and seal the source of the leak, until this week when we finally got it. I'm so pleased and would recommend FSM to anyone trying to get their basement dry. I'd also like to thank our sales guy, Don, who went the extra mile helping us get ready for the project because our basement support structure was completely in the way. Gotta love old houses and their quirks.

As someone new to homeownership, there are a lot of maintenance items that feel daunting and overwhelming. I asked Groundworks to inspect our foundation because I was seeing some cracks in the brick and a few inside the house. In these crazy economic times, I want to start preparing in the event that I need a multi thousand dollar repair on my home! Jacob came to do the inspection and was so, so knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me areas to look out for and what exactly I should be looking for as far as damage that requires foundation repair. He took measurements all around my house so that if I ever see signs of shift, I could compare new measurements to what he took today. We took pictures of the current state of the house, and he gave me really helpful tips to care for our foundation during the summer. I feel like I just got a fantastic masterclass on home care and I feel so much more prepared to care for this property as it ages. Additionally, I am a woman usually home alone when contractors come to the house and I’m nervous to have a strange man in my house, but Jacob was so kind and never made me feel uncomfortable. Thank you so much, Jacob! I will definitely be sharing my experience with others. Luckily, I don’t have to repair the foundation (yet) but when I do, I know exactly who I’ll call.

We had AFS come out and repair and sister a couple of joist in our house. The entire process what was very pleasant. Mason came out and scanned my home and created a floor plan that day, talk about high-tech! The floor plan was extremely helpful once Mason sat down with me and went over how we could fix and "bullet-proof" the home. With my background in Mechanical Design, I appreciated the collaboration as multiple options were presented and we worked/tweaked the design to fit within my budget. We agreed on a price and date and I was told by Mason that the installation crew would arrive on time and would also show the same level of professionalism as he did. I was pleasantly surprised that he was right! Taylor Fox, David Ennis, and David Smith where the three young men that came to do the work. They were on time, respected my home, and went above and beyond to make sure that they cleaned up after the work was done. m not sure where to start. Our project was big. Tons of water issues with all the snow melt and rain. We have only lived in the house for a year. Reached out to FSM and had a great experience with Adam. Came out the same day and gave us a quote. He didn't pressure us and was straight forward. Fast forward to a week ago. Junior and his team came out and from the beginning I knew we would be taken care of. He walked us through everything. The process, the products, he answered any questions we had and went above and beyond. The entire time they were here they never stopped going above and beyond. They worked their butts off everyday they were here and some days put in well over 12 hours to get it done. Junior made sure to keep us in the loop and managed his team to where things were clean throughout the job. Everything was planned throughout the project day by day and I cant tell you the relief I felt after weeks of uncertainty. I cannot talk this team up enough. We consider them good friends after this experience and if you consider another company I would tell you to SERIOUSLY reconsider. Thank you FSM and a HUGE thanks to Junior, Trent, Chase!!! Josh called on his way to the house got here at the earliest time in the window of time given to us by the company that he would arrive. Came right in was very pleasant knowledgeable and got to the route of the problem. Not only did he fix the seal on the leaking toilet but also noticed a bigger problem and called a water remediation company while at our house to come out right away to access and potentially remediate any problems we have with that! Very professional and helpful and quite concerned about doing the right thing! We couldn't be more satisfied!

Jim was extremely thorough with his inspection and took care to find a financing solution that worked with my budget and still managed to ensure that my home would be healthy and stable. Financing was a breeze. Joseph & Steven did a wonderful job converting my musty, molding, sagging crawlspace into an underground Taj Mahal. It's absolutely beautiful, and as a 6th generation baker, a stable kitchen is a requirement in any home I reside. I had a great overall experience with Groundworks. When Chris came out to inspect my foundation he was super knowledgeable and honest about the condition both good and bad. He was super receptive to concerns and even made multiple trips out to my house to explain the process and make a plan that would work even though some of the spaces were non-ideal. Once we decided to go ahead with the project, Brogan, Aaron, and Caden were an awesome crew to have onsite. They were very respectful of my property and were fun to have around. They never hesitated to show me what they were doing or let me watch them work. They worked quick and had my project done in a timely manner. Once the work was complete they cleaned everything up and left my house in the same or often better condition than they found it. I would absolutely recommend Groundworks to anyone who has foundation concerns.

We did have an issue with our initial plan and it needed to be changed but it took weeks for anyone from AFS to get in contact with us but when they finally did, Ceasar’s crew came back and did a great job.
