From the rip I was impressed with AFS. I learned about the through an Instagram ad and they made it super easy for me to let them know that I was having problems with my crawl space. I filled out a thing on instagram and within minutes someone from AFS called me. After that an inspection was scheduled and that's where we met Paul. Paul was awesome, super professional but laid back just enough to make us feel super comfortable, and we never felt like he was trying to up sell us on anything. He communicated very well throughout the entire process and even hooked us up with an electrician that they use for jobs (SES). He was really a top notch sales person. Then the guys on the job. AFS has an excellent communication system that sends you texts with links to where the crew is at when they are headed your way and even it even lets you know that the crew has arrived at your location. The job for us took 3 days and it was super smooth. Alex, Sam and Braxton did an excellent job doing the work, cleaning up and being very professional. They even stayed late the last night on the job to wrap it up and even though they didn't leave until about 9:30 that night the site was cleaned up to the point that you wouldn't even know that they were just working there. All in all I can't recommend AFS enough. 10/10 we are very satisfied with the entire experience!

The crew leads and team members are professional and truly do treat your home as their own. The entire process from start to finish was smooth and clear. Their customer service is top notch as well. Anytime I call in with a question, they are happy to help. This time around we had David, Bobby and Jose out to work on the house. The follow-up is always the proof of good service. It's pretty hard to get good contractors out here in the middle of nowhere South Carolina. When I moved into my home with a slab foundation, the last thing I thought I have to deal with was PVC plumbing pipes being used as foundation supports. Apparently the house had settled, crushing one of the drainage pipes, allowing fresh water to flow into my septic system. The plumber couldn't repair the pipe due to fear of the house sinking more. So I did some research, and chose Mount Valley Services. The work was relatively minimally invasive, and everything looked normal after the support was installed. Flashforward to today, Service Technician Bryan Curtis was able to keep me reassured about the foundation's support by solving the issues I was having with wide gaps under my doors. He had to go full Sherlock Holmes style to do it, but he figured it out, giving me peace of mind, and one less thing to worry about. All of these reports about sinkholes have me paranoid. Thank goodness my house is supported at the bedrock level. Thanks Mount Valley. Highly recommended.

Had Alpha come inspect- they had aready solution to stabilize the house indefinitely, clear out the musty smell and lift the house so any damage inside along the ceilings could be easily recovered. They were prompt polite, very informative, went the extra mile with under the house coverage. They encapsulated the crawl space and braced the house with steel beams. From inside the house – a definite tightening was evident. House is tight, quiet & the musty smell is all but gone. Seth R clearly put in the time and effort, and his work really stood out my husband and I were both very impressed. He had the right balance of quality and speed, knew exactly what he was talking about, and the final result looks great. Cory Lee, our sales representative, went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled to our satisfaction. He even came on-site to personally remove tile, showcasing his dedication and attention to detail. The entire team was punctual, professional, and highly skilled. Our foundation had dropped 1 1/2 inches in some areas, causing significant structural issues. However, Ohio Basement Authority tackled the problem with expertise by drilling 21 steel support beams down to bedrock and successfully lifting the foundation back into place. I tried to gird myself for what to expect when it comes to the bottom line, but I'd be lying if I said I was successful. I knew the crawlspace was in bad shape, but didn't know how bad it actually was until Justin Carter arrived to do the inspection. He took me through it step by step, and I never once doubted his or AFS's knowledge, professionalism, or capability. In the end, the process was smooth and easily accomplished, and no step ever felt like I was being rushed or pushed along. I felt like I was in good and earnest hangs. Yes, it's expensive, but good things cost money.

The experience that we had with basement Authority on our home was very good. Gary did an excellent job on an inspection. He covered all that he looked at all that he saw and what needed to be done and made suggestions and it happened very quickly and within 2 to 3 weeks after Gary was here, we had workers working to put in the complete system. We had a total of five different guys that worked on doing the insulation and encapsulation of the crawlspace. Jason, Travis, Wyatt, Cody and Michael were the guys that we had working on our crawlspace and the first day went super good. Jason gave us updates even if they were leaving just to go get some thing. They always told us that they were going out and they would be back in an hour or whatever the case might be, but they tried their best to keep us informed on how the job was going. They actually thought that they could get through in a day it did not happen but we finally got completed on the fourth day few different things happen but overall as far as a review, I think the guys did really well working in the crawlspace in the water in the muck Ron and Sharon W.

My goal was to extend the life of a 17 year old driveway.(the drop was almost 3inches) I was very happy with the initial result. Overtime the driveway had dropped a bit and I am even more impressed with a company that stands by their work and honours their warranty! We had AFS come out and repair and sister a couple of joist in our house. The entire process what was very pleasant. Mason came out and scanned my home and created a floor plan that day, talk about high-tech! The floor plan was extremely helpful once Mason sat down with me and went over how we could fix and "bullet-proof" the home. With my background in Mechanical Design, I appreciated the collaboration as multiple options were presented and we worked/tweaked the design to fit within my budget. We agreed on a price and date and I was told by Mason that the installation crew would arrive on time and would also show the same level of professionalism as he did. I was pleasantly surprised that he was right! Taylor Fox, David Ennis, and David Smith where the three young men that came to do the work. They were on time, respected my home, and went above and beyond to make sure that they cleaned up after the work was done. The entire crew was very willing to answer any questions I had and explained what they were doing. I cannot recommend them enough! We plan to keep doing work with AFS in the near future! Scott was great to work with. As a first time homeowner foundation issues were overwhelming, but he took the time to explain everything thoroughly so I could understand what was going on. I was having cracks in my walls and bouncy floors. Scott did a very detailed inspection, taking pictures, measuring moisture in the crawl space, checking the floor levels for settlement, and so much more. He even spoke with members of my support system who live out of town so they could understand the situation as well. He was the second contractor I had come out, and his inspection was much more thorough than the first. I highly recommend asking for Scott. He truly went above and beyond!

There are so many companies online you never know what to expect. This was the first time I ever had to call a plumber. Take your time and read reviews and also ask for recommendations from family or friends. I had a leaking shower faucet and making an appointment over the phone was easy. The company provides text message alerts to confirm your appointment, and they also sent a picture of the plumber who will come to your home. During the initial visit the plumber (Chris D) determined what was wrong and provided me with an estimate of the repairs which included new Delta shower fixtures and installing an access panel. Since the estimate did not provide a detailed description of the cost of each item (fixtures access panel and job rate), I had to call the main office to ask the company to provide me with a breakdown each cost to total the $800 estimate. I even asked questions about the cleanup and if the plumber was bringing drop clothes to put down. On the day of the repair 11/14, the values were replaced, and the access panel was installed. Chris showed me the old fixtures and demonstrated how to use the new shower set. Chris was friendly and professional, and the install did not take long. Chris even suggested that I contact my utility company to discuss if the make leak adjustments to the water bill. Several hours after he left, I decided to take a shower and unfortunately the hot water was just slightly warm. I contacted the main company line 2 times on 11/15 and the customer service representative stated that they would reach out to Chris because he was on another job but unfortunately, I had to call back on 11/16 in the morning to ask to speak to a supervisor. I am not sure what systems the main office has in place but if you see that the plumber has not contacted the customer back within a time frame, the main office should reach out to say something. I was really upset because when you have a costly repair you want it fixed on the first install. The supervisor Josh called me back on 11/16 within a matter of minutes and we discussed what was wrong and he stated that he would dispatch Chris to return on 11/16. Chris returned and fixed the problem within a few minutes. I have learned a valuable lesson to ALWAYS test out the temperature of the water before the plumber departs and not just look at how the equipment operates, ask the company for a breakdown of the quote (if you need to look at other companies, read the reviews, and don't hesitate to ask the company about the cleanup process. I am happy to say that I had an overall positive experience. Thank Josh for providing good customer service and getting the issue resolved.

From estimate to completion, Tyler and Curtis were extremely informative and professional. Tyler was very thorough in explaining the process and assisting with the financing to get us started and Curtis and his team worked diligently to get the project completed, keeping us informed as to their progress at the end of each day. While this wasn’t something we expected or had planned for, we are grateful for Ohio Basement Authority’s work in addressing the problem by getting us scheduled quickly, stabilizing our house and providing us with a with a sense of relief going forward. We wouldn’t hesitate in referring Ohio Basement Authority to anyone with similar issues that need addressed.
