This will be a follow-up 5 star review. FSS, now Groundworks, installed a seal system and a sump pump in our crawlspace in 2023. The back-up battery recently began to malfunction. The company sent Isaac to investigate. He was timely and spent a a couple of hours trouble shooting to make sure there were no other issues. Sure enough, he found an issue with the sump pump that was actually the underlying problem. He made the effort to return to his office, quite a distance from our house, to get the necessary parts to fix the problem and then returned to fix it. He also swapped out the battery which had become defective due to the underlying issue. It would have been easy for him to simply do the latter, and our problem would have persisted without us knowing it. This extra trouble-shooting effort made a difference, in other words. What also particularly pleased me was that Isaac was also the tech who had come to our house last spring – continuity matters, especially for a company like Groundworks-FSS. The facts speak for themselves as to the quality of the service. We are very pleased.

Brian was extremely thorough and explained everything that would be necessary to get things fixed. He detailed all the options for payment/financing (since foundation work is not cheap!) and helped ease our fears a little bit about completely breaking our budget. JES took care of getting all permits for us. The true reason for 5 stars, however, is Santos and his crew. They were INCREDIBLE. They went above and beyond to make sure the work they did was done well. The whole team was incredibly friendly and very communicative throughout the process. There were a couple a snags at the beginning that could have been problematic, but Santos and his crew ensured that everything ran smoothly. The one thing that really stood out to us – Santos changed the original plan to make it more appealing, even though it was a little harder and more work for him. He said "if it were my house, I would want it to look nice, not the easiest solution." Highly, highly recommend if you need any foundation repair!

Groundwork’s took excellent care of the issue we had with water in our basement. Our house is built on ledge and it’s 150 years old. Terrence Murray, Terrance Murray Jr and Izayah Ramos (also another young man Jonathon) did a fantastic job installing a drain system and sump pump. They kept me informed throughout the job as to what and why they were doing something. Final inspection was very professional and clean. Highly recommend this team of Pros!

First let me just say this is my second time working with Groundworks. Once again you did not disappoint. Mark D, and his crew Trae H, Robert C, Daniel M, showed up on time and took care of business. Mark called Friday to remind me they would he here for Monday and Tuesday and what to expect and when they arrived on Monday explained the work again. Everyone was nice and spoke and cleaned up after themselves when the left for the day and again the final day. Mark wasn't able to give me a new door so he upgraded the one I had. It looks new. Told me any problems call and they will check it out. Don't have to wait for my yearly warranty inspection. Continue to do good work and I will be back if needed and let friends know as well. We needed to have a basement wall with a 2" bow braced and sealed to reverse the erosion and momentum of the hillside behind us. Michael Peterson and Chris Chouiery, our team from OBA, showed up on time, went straight to work and took care of everything we needed in 4 hours. Had several Intellibraces and a wall anchor installed. They were great in all aspects of the job. This was the 2nd major job we had to have done by OBA and we highly recommend them.
