Chris Boyd did a comprehensive inspection, including crawling around in my crawlspace (and even brought me up the hammer I had left down there a couple months earlier). Daniel Mages and Scott Worthington were the technicians who did the concrete lift to my driveway and sidewalk sections. They showed up on time as scheduled (even provided me a courtesy call first to let me know when they would be arriving). The concrete lift and stabilization work was professional, and the sealing of the joints they did look amazing. I only wish I had taken the initiative to have the work done sooner. Thank you.

Last week I asked Ohio Basement Authority to come out to investigate why my floor was so cold and why cold air was coming in from the bottom of the fireplace. Dylan came out as promised and did an extremely thorough investigation. I was surprised and impressed with how interested and determined he was to figure out the issue. He looked outside, inside, and spent lots of time in the crawlspace. He found places in the crawlspace that were of particular concern and explained what would be the best solutions. He showed pictures and took his time explaining his reasoning. Then he was very willing to explain it again to my son and a friend so they could help me decide. No pressure, professional demeanor. I can tell he loves what he is doing and takes pride in doing it honestly and with excellence. Dylan has made me feel confident having the work done by Ohio Basement Authority.

We had Mount Valley Foundation complete a foundation repair on February 9, 2026. Kevin A, Chris W, and Mason T, were the workmen who completed our job. They were polite, attentive, and worked like a well-oiled machine. They had great attention to detail, replaced yard items that had to be moved, and even raked the marks left by their equipment. I have rarely seen a team that did as good.

Pool deck was several inches uneven in multiple places across the entire end (oak trees are beautiful, but roots go where they want) Brandon arrived and assessed the damage and explained the process. Date for work was set and o Ryan and Jared arrived on time and Piers were set and concrete was moving. Watching this happen was amazing. Before they were done, Hunter and Brad arrived and placed their equipment and setup ready to push the foam in just a short amount of time. Concrete moving, foam filling spaces, piers supporting and job is excellent and exactly what was needed. Dollars well spent to get a professional, guaranteed job correcting major issues with concrete pool deck. This is a second, and a very different use, but the same experience and result. Alpha Foundation has been the answer for us for sure.

Dan as an inspector came out to our house and had a genuine interest in our home, the problem we were having and thoroughly explained his background experience and cared for us. Dan did not even mention a sale price to us once during our inspection. I felt he trusted and comfortable with our experience with OBA because of our experience with Dan. Will be giving them a call in the future for our Basement repair needs.

Our service tech Alvin Miller III of GroundWorks/formally know as Busy Dog came for a sump pump annual checkup. Alvin was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his work. He very patiently explained to me how our sump pump and back up battery operates. He was fast and efficient and diligently recorded all of the work that was done. I was very happy to hear that everything is in good shape and nothing needed to be updated and replaced. I highly recommend GroundWorks aka Busy Dog company.

I had a great experience with Groundsworks. Scott was extremely friendly and did a thorough (and free) evaluation of our foundation. Scott informed me that our foundation is currently in great shape, and he carefully showed me his analysis of the property. Since the foundation is in good shape, he had no recommendations and told me that we don't need to spend any money on this right now. I really appreciate the honesty and helpfulness of this company; especially not trying to make any money from us when there were no problems. It sounds like, from other reviews, that they are honest and helpful when repairs are needed. I would recommend.

The crew (Cornell, Angel, Danny, AJ, and Lee) did an amazing job prepping the site, installing the piers, and cleaning up afterwards. Cornell, the lead foreman, stayed in continuous contact throughout the process and gave status updates to ensure the project was on schedule. Would recommend this crew to install piers for future projects.
