From start to finish he meticulously explained what was going on and how to fix it, all while easing concerns and answering any questions that we had. Our installation crew, Iran H, Chris H, and Zach K were awesome. They were professional, courteous, and weren’t invasive or disruptive in the slightest. I especially want to point out that these guys came out and worked in about a foot of snow and below freezing temperatures on both of the days that they were out. You’re not going to get that from the competition. If you want a sump pump system with proper drainage installed, and you want it installed right, OBA is the way to go.

Mason, Mason, and Luis… These 3 guys performed the crawl space clean up and enclosure work at my house. My house is an old 1950s home with a lot of junk inside the crawl space, not to mention a tight crawl space that reaches as high as 17 inches in some areas. They nanaged to pull out old piping, several cinder blocks, a couple of loose retention wall blocks that were used by previous owners to jack up parts of the floor, and the normal trask that past workers have left. Mason, Mason, and Luis performed the work in a total of 2 days. Overall, my interaction with the team was positive, smooth, and very professional. Mason is a relaxed professional focused on getting the job done and making sure the customer is satisfied and happy with the completed work. I've worked as customer reps dealing with contractors in the past, and my experience with Mason and his team was one of the best I've had. I first met with Joe who examined the basement inside and out and not only recommended a solution but also told me why this was best compared to other options. He also explained why the problem existed and how the proposed solution would resolve the problem. Lucio (the foreman) and his team of Brandon and Levi, came out about a week later to start work. Lucio met with me each morning to tell me what they would be doing. The team thoroughly taped off the work areas, worked effectively and efficiently on this four day job and cleaned up after themselves before leaving every day with Lucio summarizing what had been accomplished that day. I have been left feeling that the problem has be resolved with the lifetime warranty adding to that confidence. Everyone I met was friendly, polite and professional. Other than some delays with getting new contracts after scope and/or pricing adjustments, our experience was phenomenal. Originally called them after the Western WA floods in December to get some basement waterproofing done. They were the first company who would make it out here. Brownie points there! We ended up having a below ground drainage system and waterproofing barrier placed on the walls. Specifically shouting out the installation crew. The foreman Jacob N. was exceptional in his communication and transparency. Obviously knew what he was talking about, dealt with my nervous control issues and ended up advising us on some changes that saved us thousands of dollars while presenting us with other options that we ended up opting out of at this time. The rest of the crew, Richard S. and Timmy C. were great the whole way through, communicated where needed and we are very appreciative of the level of respect given to our home. Hopefully we never have to utilize their services again but if we do, we will call Groundworks !

Michael was also very professional in explaining to me the work he was doing in trenching and laying pipe to more adequately deliver the overflow. Highly recommend Groundworks. The installers, David Weaver, Brett Mullins, and Casey Pettigrew, were professional, courteous to my tenants, and respectful of my property. They even finished ahead of schedule! Excellent communication by the team as they worked on my basement, keeping me informed on status and timing. Price is more than fair; you get what you pay for. Excellent experience overall. I had to wait a couple of months to get work done and the scheduling department was confusing. When they did come to do the Intelijack install under our porch/hall crawl space- Larry and Felix did a really good job. I was amazed at how hard they worked , with minimal breaks and a very long day. They cleaned the site underneath porch, then dug 7 holes , laid the marble stone and fitted the jacks and install all in one day. Cleaned up and left the site spotless. Then, another crew came out to install an indoor basement french drain and vapor barrier. Again great work. Amazing team with many men: Terrance, Mohammed, Isaiah, Kevin, Melvin, Shakeem, Chino, Israel and Jay. Great work guys!!! Team players, very nice and hard workers. Quality work. Only complaint is Groundworks doesn't do any caulking of hole around drain pipe on exterior of home and the stairwell steps had to be removed in order to install drain and they didn't nail steps back into place. It would have been nice if those things could have been done. Also the new dehumidifier does make a bit of noise. They say it is very quiet, we are getting used to it though. It's not too, too loud , but definitely noticeable. As far as drain goes-So far so good. Haven't had a large enough rain storm yet to tell if problem is solved.

I had an outstanding service experience today. Austin was the GW representative. He communicated well and showed up 5 min early. He spent about 2.5 hrs inspecting and thoroughly cleaning the crawl space. He meticulously checked the sump pump and changed filter on dehumidifier. He gave me an overview of the status that I found very useful. I’m a business owner too. This level of service is what all companies should strive for – from perspective of the customer facing side, my experience was exemplary. I know GE is national in scope but I felt like I was dealing with a locally owned business where customers and relationships matter.

They also inspected the rest of the house and found the house was tilting towards the walkout side. They recommended settlestop push piers to stabilize the house and keep it locked into place.
