As a first-time homebuyer, this was my first experience dealing with a foundation issue. Initially, I picked Groundworks for the free foundation inspection but contracted them because of the pricing and the people that did the inspection. I had the pleasure of working with Kristra and Derek for the initial inspection and they were wonderful. Kristra was my primary inspector, with Derek supporting as her manager, and together they made the entire process far less stressful than I expected. After the inspection, we discussed the underlying issues and then came up with a solution that fits my budget. Throughout the discussion, both Krista and Derek were friendly and knowledgeable, which gave me the confidence needed to trust their company to contract them. Before the day the foundation repair was scheduled, the Groundworks team coordinated with utility personnel to have the sewer and water lines properly marked so the foundation crew would not accidentally damage them. This was something I did not expect them to handle, but I was very glad they did. On the day of the foundation work, the team gave me a courtesy morning call to make sure I was ready for their arrival. Tyler and DT worked together to fill voids in my foundation and repair the cracks in my garage. They did everything they promised and more. The pictures below speak for themselves and show the great quality of their work. Tyler and DT were efficient, kept me informed about what they were doing at all times, and were very professional. Overall, the experience left me feeling informed, confident, and supported. I’m grateful for the honesty, transparency, and respect shown throughout the inspection, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Groundworks—especially Kristra and Derek—to anyone needing foundation services.

After the evaluation, he showed me pictures and explained what needed to be done in a way that was easy for me to understand and was completely non-judgmental (my crawl space is…bad). I posted a complaint about 4 months ago regarding an issue I was having with the system installed by JES a few years ago. I want to provide an update. The JES team of Rick, Matt, Dalton, Davonte, and especially JR, we're excellent in resolving the issue. They effectively evaluated the situation, took ownership of the problem, and quickly established a plan to remedy the situation. Foundation Recovery Systems customer service from start to finish was a 5+ star experience. You are in constant communication via text whether it was for the appointment date/time, text that the inspector was enroute, phone call, you name it. Kevis Estes was our inspector; I had informed him to prior to coming out that I wasn't sure the cracks in our foundation were a serious problem, but something I wanted to address. When Kevin arrived, he was very friendly, offered to take his shoes off (we are a shoeless home), and surveyed the issue. Kevin took a look at the issue presented and was very honest that he didn't believe anything needed to be fixed. This put my mind at ease because most encounters I've had, businesses almost always try and come away with some type of money being spent. This was not the case. Kevin took the time to visit other areas of the basement and outside foundation to ensure no other areas needed attention. Thank you FRS for your time while Ill recommend you to any family or friends in the future. Kevin was GREAT!!!

JES installed my sump pump in October 2023. Today (9/25/24) was my annual maintenance appointment to be sure that everything was working well with it. My technician, Ben, contacted me on 9/24/24 to check in with me on any possible issues that he needed to be made aware of prior to my appointment as well as to confirm my appointment. Very professional and polite. Fast forward to the appointment, Ben arrived on time, once again was very professional. I showed him where it was installed so he could get to work. Unbeknownst to both Ben and I, well there was no power going to the sump pump. That was as easy as flipping a switch on the breaker box. Then, Ben noticed a leak in the piping that was installed when the sump pump was installed. Ben ended up having to cut my drywall in which JES will incur the cost to repair it back. But this was nothing he couldn't handle although he did have to make an unexpected run to Home Depot/Lowes to get the tool needed to cut the pipe. Ben returned in a decent amount of time and got right to work. Ben repaired the pipe, cleaned the sump pump bucket, and ensured everything was working correctly. Towards the end of the appointment, Ben made a few recommendations and ending up finding out that the piping that is coming out of the from of my house that pushes the water out was installed incorrectly and was not was I paid for. Therefore, Ben made a call to his supervisor, Megan Hartman, to put her on notice about this issue as well. Ben assured me that someone from the service department would reach out to me to schedule repairs for the piping outside as well as the wall repair. Overall, I would give Ben a 10/10 and would highly recommend him as your service tech. He made sure to answer any questions I had to the best of his ability, remain professional, kept me informed throughout the whole appt, valued me as a paying customer, and advised me that if I had any further questions after this appt that I shouldn't hesitate to reach out to him. Ben was AWESOME‼

FSM came out today. They sent Taj, a service tech from the Traverse City office. Taj did a thorough review of the crawlspace at my cottage and found several structural issues that I needed to address. He showed me pictures of the areas of concern and explained the necessary solutions. Taj was GREAT and explained what needed to be done to correct these concerns. What a breath of fresh air, Taj was and an asset to FSM. I feel confident with the work that needs to be done after being explained & would recommend FSM.

From the initial meeting and assessment with Adrian to the install with Mark V, Danny, and Chris Garcia, FSS was professional, patient with questions, and great with communication. Mark, Danny, and Chris installed 15 piers in 1.5 days. They really took pride in doing good work and kept me informed on progress throughout the process. They also did a great job cleaning up afterward and genuinely shared in the joy my wife and I had in experiencing our newly stabilized home with lift along the back.
