From our first encounter with FSM, we found them to be very knowledgeable, professional, considerate, and concerned. Erik Randall and Caleb Denmark have been outstanding. They answered all my questions completely helping me to understand what was causing my problems and how best to fix them. I had water issues in the crawlspace as well as foundation problems. They sent a crew within 24 hours to address the water issue in the crawlspace. The entire crew were remarkable. They were all so friendly and worked quickly to encapsulate my crawl space, install a new sump pump system and dehumidifier and within hours my water problem was solved. They cleaned everything up so well you would never know that they had been here. I can't say enough about Erik Randall. I have called him or texted him numerous times with questions and he is right on top of everything. He responds quickly and really knows this business. I'm very happy with this company. I would highly recommend them! We just contracted them to handle our foundation issue and I am secure that it will be handled quickly, professionally and completely. I am so happy that I chose FSM.

You never know if a big company is just telling you what you want to hear. When your house is starting to fall apart, big ticket items like fixing your foundation is scary. For a moment, we weren’t sure if we went with the right company. And then Jeremy Elston showed up. It felt like the first time someone was telling us the truth and not scamming us. He was so incredibly thorough and respectful of our home. He took his time and explained to us what he was doing and why. Foundation repairs aren’t always one and done. When the time came to make some adjustments, Jeremy was back and walking us through next steps. We feel confident in the work done and its impact to our home. After evaluating the situation, Bill quickly determined that the issue wasn't with the concrete itself, but with drainage problems causing the sinking. Instead of recommending unnecessary work to fix the concrete, which would likely sink again, he advised me to first address the downspouts to prevent further damage. Bill told me to contact him again in the future once the drainage issue was resolved. It's rare to find a company that values integrity over profit, and Bill's honesty and expertise truly stood out. I met with the new customer service representative Robbie F. that came out to my house to service the sump pump and he was excellent, smart, knowledgeable, upfront, and worth doing business with again. I hope he comes out for the next visit. Definitely more helpful and knowledgeable more than anyone that has come out I hope company reaches out about extended service plan purchased for 3 year might want to do 5. We had a great experience with Groundworks. The crew—Michael, Chris, Dennis, and Victor—were incredibly hardworking, respectful, and professional. They showed up, stayed focused, and got the job done without any wasted time. Eric, the superintendent, checked in throughout each phase, which gave us a lot of confidence in the process. Everything was explained clearly, and they even documented the work with photos. In today’s world, it’s rare to find a company that takes this much pride in their work. Highly recommend!

Ronald came to do an inspection of the basement and service the sump pump and he was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he was seeing and what he recommended. He was able to use examples and language I could understand (not being in the business). I was very happy with his work and he settled my anxiety about the leak I was experiencing. Ronald is exactly who you want to come and inspect and do work on your home. He serviced the sump pump quickly and effectively and cleaned up all the mess! We all need a Ronald in our lives!

He was professional, knowledgeable, and clear in the details of the work that would take place and presented price options for the work that I wanted to get done on my driveway and entryway. Brendan took the time to listen to my concerns as a homeowner and in understanding that this was going to be a huge investment in my home, he was able to offer the best price. Everything about Ohio Basement Authority is top-notch. Starting with Certified Field Inspector Alan Lefebre, who brought a high degree of professionalism to the mix. No pressure, very informative, and let me make my decision without any "coaxing" or "directing" by him. Needed a new sump pump, with all of the rain heading to Central Ohio, and he had a crew here within a few days (1 was a Sunday). Got us bumped up several notches to "emergency" status. The installation crew arrived on time, took special care not to soil our carpeting, cleaned up the work area thoroughly, and took time to go over the installation and the equipment (includes batter backup). I highly recommend this company.
