I have been dealing with AFS since 2023. I dealt with issues of water building up in my basement for over 20 years and I was not sure why. One day I ran across an ad on TV that said they could put a sump pump in the ground that would draw the water out of my house. My first great service man was Matt Hall and once he left the company I was lucky enough to have Charles Hallmark come and take over services for me for maintenance needs. Charles was able to understand my concerns. Make sure my service equipment was up to date and working properly, He let me know that any service needs that I may have in the future he was available to assist me with and I did not feel rushed or pressured to purchase anything at this time. But he also made me understand the importance and urgency of me not letting any of these these items and that need to be addressed taken care of as well. I can respect that and I definitely appreciate it because everybody's not in a financial position at the same time to just fix everything. That goes a long way and keeps lifelong customers. I wish all representatives understood that. Educate your customer as much as you can and then give them the freedom of space to make decisions when their financial able to. If you're an AFS future customer or existing customer and you're looking for a gentleman who understands and will make sure the service is done right, please ask for Charles Hallmark.

It was our first time hiring a professional for water damage in our basement. We had no idea what caused it. We had a very bad experience with some of our previous contractors so we asked a lot of questions. The inspector Jose explained everything clearly and took time to patiently answered all of them. The crew who did actual work, Calvin, Jamahl, and Clayton, were very professional and polite. Their work was fast and efficient. They informed us at every step so we know what is going on. They did all the waterproofing in just two days. It cost a lot but we’re glad we hired Aquaguard. It’s great to have an assurance that we don’t have to worry about any water damage in the basement in the future under their lifetime warranty!

We recently had work completed by Tarheels Basement systems . They installed floor supports and an I beam under our home that we purchased and discovered did not have proper supports on a load bearing area of our home. Justin H , Demarte, and Quentin were punctual, professional, and polite . They were attentive to detail and preserving our property. Justin communicated their eta and they arrived right on time . He greeted me with a smile and walked me through the install information clearly . They took care to prevent any damage during the lift process. His crew worked cohesively and quickly and were very informative. He made some solid recommendations to help prevent additional issues in the future .We would definitely work with this company in the future if needed .

Fantastic experience with Groundworks (Colo Spgs) so far! After submitting a request for a free inspection and estimate online, Mike Geiger, site inspector, contacted me by phone within an hour. He came all the way down to Pagosa Springs the next day. He was right on time. Very personable and professional. Reviewed our situation in detail, explained everything he saw in a very clear and understandable manner, answered all our questions knowledgably, and pointed out a couple of items to take care of before they do a lift of our concrete slab. Mike provided an itemized estimate while on site, and explained all the costs. We were happy to accept the estimate and get on the schedule to have such an obviously competent and reliable company do the work we need. Mike was such a pleasure to talk to and work with; I can't say enough good things about him! We are on their schedule to have the actual work done, but I wanted to provide this review even before that, since our initial contact with Groundworks was so good!! If you need a company for this kind of work, I highly recommend giving Groudworks, and Mike Geiger, a call. Just to be clear, I'm not being compensated in any way for this review; it is truly heartfelt!

My wife and I sat down with Matt and were very happy with his assessment to address our concerns. We set a date and time to begin work to install additional Jacpipes and beams. Iran H. and Chris M. called the night before to authorize an earlier start time. They arrived on time. They began working in the crawlspace and cleaned up the work area. Iran and Chris showed us pics and stated they will return to make the adjustments to the jacposts. Very courteous and professional. We recommend the company.

Only if you’re interested in individuals that show up on time, act professionally, do the work they say, clean up the site and thank you for using professional language as well! Jesse and his team called before their arrival, as they said they would So appreciated. Everything was explained and the work was efficient and accurate. The difference in our front walkway, driveway and porch slab is nothing short of “gasp.” When we pointed out something we thought was cosmetically unsightly it was fixed right away. Thank you! From start to finish Michael and his crew were outstanding. As a manager of Sherwin Williams, I see all types of construction crews and these guys are hands down the most polite, professional, trustworthy guys I’ve ever met. The communication as to what they were doing and letting us know time frames were spot on. These guys worked like a well oiled machine with the final product turning out phenomenal. They replaced several floor joists in our bedroom due to moisture issues , installed pumps and drainage lines, then encapsulated the entire crawl space. We’ve had several companies out to try to fix our issues with very sub par work. Not these guys. They walked in like an army of Spartans and took care of business. If you use anyone else besides these guys, I’m sorry.
