We are very happy with the service provided by the entire Groundworks team. Our inspector Nick was thorough and extremely patient with us as we worked through the various water related issues and solutions. We appreciated his knowledge and detailed explanations. On install day we had two fabulous crews that did the work. Franciso, Rene and Carlos replaced our sump pump and had the super tough job of digging the trench for the discharge line. They were on time, professional, courteous and made sure everything was left neat and clean. The concrete lift crew of Manuel and Carlos also did a great job. Everyone did such a good job of communicating expectations and keeping us informed as work progressed. I would highly recommend Groundworks to my friends and neighbors.

You never know if a big company is just telling you what you want to hear. When your house is starting to fall apart, big ticket items like fixing your foundation is scary. For a moment, we weren’t sure if we went with the right company. And then Jeremy Elston showed up. It felt like the first time someone was telling us the truth and not scamming us. He was so incredibly thorough and respectful of our home. He took his time and explained to us what he was doing and why. Foundation repairs aren’t always one and done. When the time came to make some adjustments, Jeremy was back and walking us through next steps. We feel confident in the work done and its impact to our home. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve actually stopped having nightmares about the house falling apart. Every professional needs to take a page out of Jeremy’s book.

We cannot say enough good things about Cody Wellner from Groundworks. I have never received such kindness, good communication, and marvelous customer service from a construction company. Cody came out and explained everything to us and very patiently answered all our questions. A crew came out and did the work. They were very kind and considerate. They did a great job laying plastic and respecting the rest of the house. We did have a couple of issues with the work done. There was some damage to a window sill and they cut some carpet that they should have just rolled back. Luckily for us, it was Cody Wellner to the rescue again. He took the time and effort to come out and rebuild the landing to the stairs, fix the window sill, and relay the cut carpet to make the area useable until we get it fixed correctly. Groundworks is going to reimburse us for the carpet damage. This is an amazing company with a marvelous staff! I highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again.

From the moment I started talking with them it was clear that customer service and professionalism is their top priority. Kalen the project manager arrived right on time, and was incredibly thorough in inspecting my home and spending time with me to make sure I understood his findings. Often when I’ve had basic assessments it’s with an estimator who will have no connection to the work, and I value the fact that Groundworks sends the person who would manage a possible project for the initial inspection. The guys who worked on our driveway and steps were Andre’s Martinez and CJ Cleveland. Both worked well together finishing the project quickly. Immediate results were noticed with driveway slabs and steps being lifted back to their original position. The finished project looks good and with the 5 year warranty will see if it remains in place. Clean up was great and overall a really good job. My only comment would be to obtain gray sand for the caulk instead of tan. I think it would be a more normal and pleasing look.

The person (Kalen) who came to review the product and installation was professional, knowledgeable and reviewed their product without pressure. Came over to install a new sump basin, Double backup Sump pump and under sub floor dehumidifier. The quality of workmanship was second to none!! And the expertise of Ulysses, Alsandro, and Isaiah was evident from start to cleanup! Cost was a little more than expected but I feel like I definitely got what I paid for!!

Where do I begin??!! I contacted Groundworks to get an estimate for some concrete lifting. Kalen was the one who came to do the estimate. He went above & behind in every way. He was very thorough with his approach to our ‘project’, covering all bases & checking everything that needed to be checked. Throughout the process he explained everything & answered all my questions. From the time he spent doing the estimate, then coming back to explain it all to me, show me videos etc, he gave me everything I needed to know for the work we needed done & for us to make a decision on which company to schedule with. We have our project scheduled and we look forward to getting the work done!

Groundworks Field Inspector Mike Gold was excellent in communicating with us the results of his work/measurements on our property. He explained that we now have a baseline for comparison in future years re: our house's foundation settling. He also informed us about the effect of moisture content of soil below the foundation and how to mitigate the potential problem. He is indeed knowledgeable in his area of expertise and has excellent communication skills!

We have been a customer of Rod Martin and now Groundworks for several years. Our initial Fun started with a complete encapsulation of our crawl space and installation of sump pump. Later work included wall anchors, a basement perimeter drain and installation of additional drain pipe under a new basement pad. Big expense over the years but results have been extremely positive!! Annual service has been great. Today, due to a prior job going longer than expected, our serviceman Mike was delayed. Instead of having to re-schedule, Matt Davidson came out to perform the work on his way home. We really appreciated his timeliness, thoroughness and explanations. Ground Works should be proud of Matt's involvement and expertise.

We recently had the uneven stones in our backyard path reset and repaired to improve both safety and appearance. The crew took their time leveling each section, adjusting the base where needed, and securing the stones so everything sat evenly and firmly in place. The entire project was completed in about a day, and they kept the area tidy throughout the process. Before the repair, the walkway felt a bit unstable in spots and didn’t look very uniform. Now, it feels much safer to walk on and has a more consistent, polished look that blends nicely with the rest of the yard.

Thank you to Aaron Kanter, Groundworks Service Technician for recently doing the annual inspection of the foundational work and crawl space liner encapsulation that was previously done at my home. I am incredibly pleased with the level of support Aaron provided to me during the service. Aaron took baseline readings of my home's main floor that will be used in future annual inspections to more precisely measure whether any shifting or movement occurs. Aaron was thorough in his overall evaluation, answered my questions, and provided suggestions as to how Groundworks may be able to help remediate other problems that I described to him. I will definitely request Aaron for future service inspections as well as for any additional work that I take on. Thank you, Aaron and Groundworks. 5 stars for both!

My concerns were listened to & plans were altered to make sure the installation was done to my expectations. They did an excellent job! Had an interior drain and new sump pump installed about 2 years ago and Groundworks provides 5 yearly inspections. It was a lot of work but ultimately fixed the water coming into the basement. Just had a follow up inspection with Jeremy Elston and he walked me through all the components he was checking and why. Jeremy also reviewed other areas of the basement that might be trouble in the future, gave realistic advice on the severity and suggested we keep an eye on it going forward. I hope I don't have any other basement issues in the future but if so, Groundworks is the place that fixes them.

I watched a commercial featuring Groundworks on the internet and shortly after, also heard another on the radio. I was having no problems with my house foundation or the crawl space (about 4' height in there). But decided to have this company seal off the interior in that space for added warmth beneath my ground floor. I personally had placed heavy plastic just on the dirt floor in 2003, when the framer was still framing in the first floor of my home. Skip to the year 2025 – Cody met with me first and put together a free estimate. I agreed to the terms immediately and approx 10 days later 3 employees from Groundworks arrived. Their box truck has a huge Groundworks logo all across the side. They called ahead of time and also just before they pulled into the drive. The lead crew member's name was B.Wesley, along with Mac and Zach. They were able to pull most all the dirt, dust etc. out with just removing that old plastic. After they finished, the transformation is like magic! I appreciate a clean environment and when that total space with floor and walls were wrapped and taped – the best word I can think of is "stunning". The very durable Aquastop Wrap makes a warm space down there and already I believe my house is easier to heat. Thank you Groundworks! I tell all my friends and pull out my camera to show them the "magic" !!

Silvino and crew installed 3 piers to support my poorly constructed foundation wall. The three man crew were very conscientious protecting with plastic my garage area from getting covered in dust and debris. Throughout the job process they kept their materials and debris orderly and at completion of the work cleaned up the entire work area within my garage, driveway, and into the street. These men were friendly, knowledgeable to get the job done right, and hard working. I was very impressed.
