Luis went above and beyond to explain about the work being done and what each installed feature did. He was very helpful in explaining how to take care of the french drain, sup pump, and wall braces going forward. 5 out of 5 stars!

My inspector, Curtis, was knowledgeable and explained the issue I was having in a way that I could understand. Luis, Ramon, and KeVaughn did an amazing job with installing my basement solution. The entire encounter with Groundworks was solid. They were able to get an inspector and team out quickly.

Eric and Ryan did a fine job and worked a strong, hard day to get my enormous driveway leveled and lifted to the best they can given the circumstances and conditions of my concrete. My house is nearly 60 years old and my concrete definitely was not in the best condition or ideal dimensions to make a perfect repair. It wasn’t horrible, but I didn’t want to wait until someone busted their face on my driveway to make it safe to walk on. Even with the portions of the driveway that resisted getting perfectly level, I’m happy to avoid needing to replace my concrete and now that everything has been stabilized with foam and no longer need to worry about the driveway for years to come. I may consider grinding down more high spots on my own if it’s an issue clearing snow this winter with my snow blower. If I tried to do this job myself I wouldn’t have done a great job because the shear volume of foam that was needed to do the job was enormous. Plus, any foam I could have used would have been inadequate for the job it was designed to perform and I don’t think I could have injected foam fast enough to make much of a difference. Granted, I could have searched and found something to use, but man given my tight schedule with a toddler and work, it’s nice to get to done by someone who has all the right tools and skills to ensure that nothing is overdone. I didn’t want to pay for equipment that I was needed for this specialized job. (Although I could have looked for rental equipment….) Anyways! For a two man crew tackling a 1000+ sqft driveway racing against the rain, wow what a performance! Eric and Ryan were very responsive to any questions I had during the job, which was very nice. I wish they spent more time blowing off the dust and debris off the driveway and in my garage, but it started raining shortly after they left so I guess there isn’t much that could have been done. I’d give five stars for the work Eric and Ryan did, but I’m giving four stars because Groundworks backed out of repairing the public sidewalk that we originally agreed upon due to “Liability Issues” which was the original reason I called them in the first place because in my city I am responsible for repairing/maintaining my public sidewalks. Although Jacob, the representative to helped develop the service agreement and initially inspected the concrete, pushed back to keep it in the scope of work, Groundworks didn’t want to risk damaging the road repairing my sidewalk getting the city involved. They do advertise sidewalk repair, which is why I’m bringing it up here in a review… if you’re trying to get your sidewalk repaired you may need to just get it fully replaced or get trip hazards ground down (I got my sidewalk ground down from someone else) lifting/stabilizing public sidewalks you’re responsible for maintaining may be out of the question- at least for Groundworks. I recommend Groundworks and likely will call them again for future work on other projects around the house. I just wish they would have helped me with my sidewalk because it was a scramble to find someone to help grind down the sidewalk in the timeframe I was looking at getting the work done. Thanks Jacob, Eric, and Ryan for helping with my driveway!

Ernest, Shahid, and Greyson worked diligently to stabilize our foundation. They were great at communicating arrival times and explaining the process as they went along. They were polite and considerate of our property while installing the 12 Push Piers needed to stabilize and raise our settling foundation. We would highly recommend this crew and their extra helpers who jumped in at times during the project.

Everyone we interacted with here provided exceptional service. Aaron was very thorough in his explanations and measuring. He explained the suggested plans to us and answered all of our questions. Prince and Cleveland were very communicative on when they would be arriving and completed the work very quickly. The porch is in much better shape, and they managed to close gaps that were about 1 in down to less than a centimeter with minimal damage to the existing structure. I will definitely be using them for any future structural work that needs to be done.

Manny Bello & Atiim Smith were our installation crew from Groundworks. They arrived on time and were professional throughout. Before starting work they reviewed the plan and provided an estimate of the time required. Our garage slab had settled significantly in areas preventing water from draining out and in some locations, the soil had settled under the concrete 8 inches below the visible concrete settlement of four inches. Within a couple of hours Manny and Atiim had lifted all the slabs to provide excellent drainage. Additionally, simultaneously they worked on our front entry to stabilize that concrete from cracking and settling. The two of them then caulked of the seams. The garage turned out to have a better drainage slope than when it was originally poured and we couldn't be more delighted. Thank you Groundworks and thank you Manny and Atiim.

Super friendly and patient staff. No high pressure sales. When the crew (Jose Campos, Wazir Mohammed and Brayan Aguirre) came over to install a sump pump and fix a drainage problem around our house, they were flexible and patient with our concerns and brainstormed solutions to address them. To fix our drainage problem they dug a ditch under our launch so our downspout would lead water away from the house. They patched the lawn so well that you can hardly see they were there. Another crew lifted our sidewalk so it was level and had no trip points. They did a very nice job and were patient with us even when we called them back just 10 minutes later to repair the caulking after a neighbor stepped in it while it was wet. (After we declined the crew's offer to put up caution tape too! So we took them up on their offer after they came back.) Just be mindful that your driveway and sidewalk may have different colors, so when they offer to color match their caulking to your concrete, check whether they can match each individually.

This is the second time I have used this company for shoring up sagging wooden floor joists with structural issues in my home's 50 year old crawl space. Edgar was very helpful and informative and even helped with a change order. Omar's crew with Beto and Diego did an excellent job, respected my home and delivered exactly the solution I was promised. This place is old and if something else starts sagging I know who to call.

Luis, Ramon, & Kevaughn showed up at my home at the appointed time, Luis walked me through the process they were going to do and went to work. They were very trustworthy and friendly, explaining what they accomplished each day and what the next day was about. They cleaned the inside of the basement way better than expected , courteous at all times and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to correct our issue, Luis was an excellent foreman for this project .

The initial inspector was exceedingly thorough, patient, fair, and able to give detailed yet easy to understand explanations. Luis and his installation team were highly experienced, conscientious, quick, and neat. I had Groundworks complete 2 different services for my current residence. I recently purchased a house and noticed some cracks in the walls and a couple cracks in the foundation wall in the lower level of my home. I decided to call Groundworks to come asses the situation and give me some options. After the initial consult with Kenneth to my relief the foundation wasn't in bad shape but the exterior perimeter on the slab was sinking. He suggested for a sump to be put in and polyjacking on the lower slab. The price was affordable as well. The first crew who came out was for the sump pump to be installed. The foreman was Jeremy Elston, and the two other employees were Demetrius and Edwin. Jeremy was polite and communication was good. The other two were polite as well and they all worked diligently to get the job done, and they were very clean and used plastic to cover the floors. Altogether the install went well and looked professional. The crew that came out the second day to do the polyjacking were Ryan Langston as the foreman and Andrew Lester to help. Ryan was friendly and informative and did a great job lifting the exterior and stabilizing the slab. They also left my house clean. It was a good experience altogether between the 2 crews. I would recommend this company they have great warranties that come with their services as well and they are fairly priced and have given me piece of mind that my foundation problems will be minimal after their installs.

We are very happy with the service provided by the entire Groundworks team. Our inspector Nick was thorough and extremely patient with us as we worked through the various water related issues and solutions. We appreciated his knowledge and detailed explanations. On install day we had two fabulous crews that did the work. Franciso, Rene and Carlos replaced our sump pump and had the super tough job of digging the trench for the discharge line. They were on time, professional, courteous and made sure everything was left neat and clean. The concrete lift crew of Manuel and Carlos also did a great job. Everyone did such a good job of communicating expectations and keeping us informed as work progressed. I would highly recommend Groundworks to my friends and neighbors.

He provided through explanations, demonstrated professionalism throughout., and resolved the issue with care and competence that should have been there from the beginning. Groundworks was fantastic! I had noticed the concrete slab on which the family room sits was sinking, causing cracking in the brick facing of the fireplace, as well as a drop of about 2 inches along the wall that has the sliding glass door in it. From the beginning, Nick Scott explain everything that was happening with some videos as well as diagrams. He spent a lot of time with me, explaining how to fix the problem, and was very friendly and courteous. The process of obtaining the estimate was extremely pleasant and easy and that continued all the way through to the repair work. I had several questions for Nick before the work took place and he came on the phone immediately and answered my questions very quickly and very thoroughly. Then the concrete raising went even better than expected. The two, foreman, Eric, and his assistant, Juan, who came out were very courteous, and very careful to protect the area where they would be working to keep the mess to a minimum. They worked quickly but thoroughly and did an amazing job, explaining to me what they would do and how and what the end result should be. They were even able to realign the fireplace bricks and close the gaping cracks! I can’t thank you all enough!

Walked the whole property with me, pulled up old photos to check progress, gave me real knowledge on what’s going on and helped me brainstorm future projects. Even threw together a couple quotes – zero pressure. It didn’t feel like a sales visit at all, just someone genuinely looking out for us.
