Michael and Manny were very professional and the quality of work that they installed is unmatched. Would recommend them and Groundworks to anyone who needs concrete lifting and buried Downspouts. I watched a commercial featuring Groundworks on the internet and shortly after, also heard another on the radio. I was having no problems with my house foundation or the crawl space (about 4' height in there). But decided to have this company seal off the interior in that space for added warmth beneath my ground floor. I personally had placed heavy plastic just on the dirt floor in 2003, when the framer was still framing in the first floor of my home. Skip to the year 2025 – Cody met with me first and put together a free estimate. I agreed to the terms immediately and approx 10 days later 3 employees from Groundworks arrived. Their box truck has a huge Groundworks logo all across the side. They called ahead of time and also just before they pulled into the drive. The lead crew member's name was B.Wesley, along with Mac and Zach. They were able to pull most all the dirt, dust etc. out with just removing that old plastic. After they finished, the transformation is like magic! I appreciate a clean environment and when that total space with floor and walls were wrapped and taped – the best word I can think of is "stunning". The very durable Aquastop Wrap makes a warm space down there and already I believe my house is easier to heat. Thank you Groundworks! I tell all my friends and pull out my camera to show them the "magic" !!

The estimate process was thorough and scheduling was prompt. The work was completed on time without any surprises. I felt the price was fair for the job done. We're extremely happy with the work Groundworks' foreman, Francisco, and his associates, Rene and Jose, performed for us. The company was extremely proactive and responsive. They obtained our permit very quickly and subsequently performed the service sooner than expected. The crew, Francisco, Rene, and Jose, arrived early, performed the work with care, cleaned up impeccably, and even left our property in better shape than they found it, fully relaying a brick utility pad that had been half removed due to a previous project. Their lifetime guarantee for the work will fully transfer to future owners, and they come out once a year to maintain quality assurance. I will happily recommend Groundworks to anyone I meet in the future who may need foundation stabilization. Thank you Groundworks for your time and attention to our project!

Groundworks review Aaron Hudson (Foreman) After a very rocky start with the initial crew, who unfortunately mishandled our basement slab raising and argued to the point of a migraine, Aaron and his team was truly a relief. He provided through explanations, demonstrated professionalism throughout., and resolved the issue with care and competence that should have been there from the beginning. Eric and Ryan did a fine job and worked a strong, hard day to get my enormous driveway leveled and lifted to the best they can given the circumstances and conditions of my concrete. My house is nearly 60 years old and my concrete definitely was not in the best condition or ideal dimensions to make a perfect repair. It wasn’t horrible, but I didn’t want to wait until someone busted their face on my driveway to make it safe to walk on. Even with the portions of the driveway that resisted getting perfectly level, I’m happy to avoid needing to replace my concrete and now that everything has been stabilized with foam and no longer need to worry about the driveway for years to come. I may consider grinding down more high spots on my own if it’s an issue clearing snow this winter with my snow blower. If I tried to do this job myself I wouldn’t have done a great job because the shear volume of foam that was needed to do the job was enormous. Plus, any foam I could have used would have been inadequate for the job it was designed to perform and I don’t think I could have injected foam fast enough to make much of a difference. Granted, I could have searched and found something to use, but man given my tight schedule with a toddler and work, it’s nice to get to done by someone who has all the right tools and skills to ensure that nothing is overdone. I didn’t want to pay for equipment that I was needed for this specialized job. (Although I could have looked for rental equipment….) Anyways! For a two man crew tackling a 1000+ sqft driveway racing against the rain, wow what a performance! Eric and Ryan were very responsive to any questions I had during the job, which was very nice. I wish they spent more time blowing off the dust and debris off the driveway and in my garage, but it started raining shortly after they left so I guess there isn’t much that could have been done. I’d give five stars for the work Eric and Ryan did, but I’m giving four stars because Groundworks backed out of repairing the public sidewalk that we originally agreed upon due to “Liability Issues” which was the original reason I called them in the first place because in my city I am responsible for repairing/maintaining my public sidewalks. Although Jacob, the representative to helped develop the service agreement and initially inspected the concrete, pushed back to keep it in the scope of work, Groundworks didn’t want to risk damaging the road repairing my sidewalk getting the city involved. They do advertise sidewalk repair, which is why I’m bringing it up here in a review… if you’re trying to get your sidewalk repaired you may need to just get it fully replaced or get trip hazards ground down (I got my sidewalk ground down from someone else) lifting/stabilizing public sidewalks you’re responsible for maintaining may be out of the question- at least for Groundworks. I recommend Groundworks and likely will call them again for future work on other projects around the house. I just wish they would have helped me with my sidewalk because it was a scramble to find someone to help grind down the sidewalk in the timeframe I was looking at getting the work done. Thanks Jacob, Eric, and Ryan for helping with my driveway!

However, our house new (15-18 years old) extension kept sinking. So for us we ordered screw jacks. It’s still too new to know how well this will work but we do know Doors are already easier to operate The warranty is lifelong on the house And, the crew that installed it could in been more professional nor caring if our property. Big shout out to the foreman Silvino Hernandez and his amazing crew Alvin, Jorge, Antonio and Roberto. Thank you for easing our minds that this was the right direction for us.

Our inspector Nick was thorough and extremely patient with us as we worked through the various water related issues and solutions. We appreciated his knowledge and detailed explanations. On install day we had two fabulous crews that did the work. Franciso, Rene and Carlos replaced our sump pump and had the super tough job of digging the trench for the discharge line. They were on time, professional, courteous and made sure everything was left neat and clean. The concrete lift crew of Manuel and Carlos also did a great job. Everyone did such a good job of communicating expectations and keeping us informed as work progressed. I would highly recommend Groundworks to my friends and neighbors.

The person (Kalen) who came to review the product and installation was professional, knowledgeable and reviewed their product without pressure. The crew who came to do the work (Aaron, Elijah, Carlos) were all efficient, friendly, and great at communicating their progress. They did an outstanding job. I am really happy with the work the Groundworks crew did on our back patio. One of our concrete slabs had sunken by about 5 inches, and really inhibited from using our patio well. Kenne provided us with a quote and explained the full process, covering many of my questions without my needing to ask. The work crew, Eric and Juan, were both friendly, got the job done promptly (but still with care). They even touched up the caulking that they piped after my toddler ran through it while it was still wet 🤦♀️ Our patio is now level and we can enjoy sitting at our outdoor table without the chair legs falling off “the ledge of doom” as I formerly called it.

Their courtesy, thoroughness, craftsmanship and job ethics were impeccable. And they saw the job completed through engineer inspection to perfection. Had an interior drain and new sump pump installed about 2 years ago and Groundworks provides 5 yearly inspections. It was a lot of work but ultimately fixed the water coming into the basement. Just had a follow up inspection with Jeremy Elston and he walked me through all the components he was checking and why. Jeremy also reviewed other areas of the basement that might be trouble in the future, gave realistic advice on the severity and suggested we keep an eye on it going forward. I hope I don't have any other basement issues in the future but if so, Groundworks is the place that fixes them.

Supervisor LUIS, and coworkers Ramon and Kevaughn, were on time, professional, got right to work prepared the property so there was no dust or dirt with plastic coverings on all my important items, throughout their process. Luis explained the entire process to me, had me fill out a form should I have any additional questions or concerns, then systematically went about taking care of my water vapor problem. They put in a new sump pump, covered the wall to protect my closet should additional water vapor get through, it will go down into the drain that they put into the floor of my closet. All were very attentive to all the details. At the end, Luis walked me through exactly what they had done, explained everything to me so I understood it clearly, with their final walk through form, also made it clear should I have any issues or problems to call Groundworks and they would help me out. Their cleanup was exemplary, as they took down the plastic and the tarps with virtually no dust or debris anywhere in my basement. For the job that needed to be done, I was impressed with the hard work and attention to detail, and I would recommend Groundworks should there be any water problems in someone’s home.
