I can't say enough good things about Bakers Waterproofing. Years ago they did waterproofing for me; this time I had them back for foundation repairs. It was a positive experience and quality job from beginning to end. Marshall, who came out to assess the situation and give me an estimate, was so courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. I had many questions and he was patient as he clearly explained and illustrated everything I asked about. I felt good about the price after some discounts. I was even more impressed when I got a call the next day, which was a Saturday, to schedule the job. I did have a bit of a wait, but my situation wasn't urgent and I thought the wait was reasonable for the time of year and volume of work they do. But I was really impressed with Jim and Pat Clark who came out to do the work. I had a confirmation call two days before, and Jim and Pat called when they were on their way so I'd know when to expect them. They were so friendly, professional and respectful and their work ethic was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure all issues were addressed by their quality work. It's an old house so they ran into a couple of issues that they handled without complaining it getting upset. They ended up having to stay many hours past the time they expected to be finished. It was clear that they take pride in their work and weren't about to leave until everything was completed according to their obviously high standards. Jim and his brother Pat were a pleasure to have working here for two days. They're the best among many crews I've had work at the house over the years. Dedicated employees who do quality work make all the difference. They are a true asset and the foundation of Bakers' excellent reputation. I would hire Bakers Waterproofing again without a second thought.

The technician, Bill, just finished the first annual inspection of the installation that was completed a year ago and I wanted to add my 2 cents worth to the many positive reviews already up. From estimate to this first inspection my experience with Bakers Waterproofing has truly been 5 star! At installation the technician felt that changing to wall anchors would be a better choice and, after some discussion with the company, was able to do the job with only a small adjustment in the final price. Since that time, each time I go into the basement, I am impressed with the appearance of the work and the knowledge that that wall is secure! Add to that the personable and caring technicians that do the follow-up work and I am confident in recommending Baker Waterproofing to anyone that asks!

John Beck, the service technician, came out for the annual inspection/ maintenance of our sump pump. He communicated with me several days prior to remind me of the appointment day and time and let me know the day of the appointment what time he expected to arrive. John was very friendly and professional. He explained to me what he was going to be checking and how he would be checking it. He let me know that everything looked okay and operated fine. He gave me his business card and told me to call him directly if I had any concerns or if any problems arose.

Chris Presutti of the Pittsburgh, PA, office did a thorough inspection of the collapsing wall around the in-basement water well in my 123 year old home. He explained everything that he was seeing, and explained that what I actually needed was a contractor to tear out and rebuild the wall. He also gave recommendations of how it could be done effectively. This all at no charge to me even though Groundworks would not be doing the work. If I have any problems in the future, I definitely will be calling Groundworks.

We had taken care of the items at our church that we had to do like removing everything from the walls. We received a reminder text several days before scheduled work and again closer to start date. Brock called to give estimated time of arrival each day. Brock, Rich, and Travis were super professional. Communication was great as they kept us informed of the process as they went along. They also set up expectations upon arrival. We had started covering some important items before they arrived, but they covered contents with plastic before beginning the work. They alerted us to any potential problems before beginning the process. Job took a little over 2 1/2 days. We had a wrap up discussion at the end of each day. The guys worked well together and did not stand around. They did the job they came to do.

We had a system installed by Baker's Waterproofing 3 years ago. It has functioned perfectly. We purchased an annual maintenance plan and that has paid off–John Beck was our Service Tech this visit and he was top-notch. John was very detailed, organized and he spotted a failure with our back up pump and replaced it. He was meticulous with cleaning the system, and didn't leave a spec of dust behind him when he left. We are very satisfied with Baker's.

Foreman, Tyler Barnhart and his crew were very professional, neat and tidy. I didn't have any mess to clean up besides some dust which I expected. We had water leaking into our basement from the floor due to hydrostatic pressure. Steve Cahl, our salesman did a thorough inspection and gave us a detailed explanation with a video of what was causing the problem was how Baker's would fix it. After we agreed on the contract, he told us what to expect, the date the job would begin, what time the craftsmen would show up, and how long the project would take. Everything he said was true. Their communication leading up to and during the job was exceptional. Steve always returned my calls immediately when I had questions. The gentlemen who did the work – Tyler Barnhart (foreman), Joey Pickard, and Brandon Miller were incredibly polite, pleasant and unbelievably hard working.Tyler called me the day before, and each morning to let me know what time they would arrive. They not only showed up on time, they were early both days! The job was finished in a day and a half. Their expertise was clearly evident in the quality and timeliness of their work. Marquese, Brian, and Sean arrived at 0900 and after initial explanations and paper work immediately proceeded get to work on my basement problem. These men jack hammered 75' of cement, hand carried the rubble out , installed a vapor barrier, drainage system, sump pumps, and a drainage field in the yard. They are professional, courteous, and polite. They even tolerated me being "nebby", answering all my questions, explained the warranty and anything else they thought I needed to know about the installation. Guys, you crushed it, thanks!

He offered a few options, I explained my main concern was further loss of surface and tripping hazards for myself or anyone on property. I told him I would trust his professional judgment. And that was a great decision, the result exceeded what I thought would be possible. Josh & Omar kept a clean work area, and communicated with me as things progressed. I had push piers put under the foundation of my house and couldn't be more pleased with Baker's Waterproofing Company from beginning to end. I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with Matt and Chacar. They are the BEST workers I have ever seen. They worked diligently and non stop all while they were there. Chacar knew what he was doing and did it well. When he needed guidance from Matt, which was seldom, he did it quickly and without hesitation. Matt is extremely good at his job as Forman. He could be doing one thing while still noticing what the others are doing and correct what needed to be corrected. The work they were doing was very physical but they kept moving and very, very seldom ever took a break. They are also very polite and courteous and cleaned up very well when completed. I truly can't say enough good things about them. You should be extremely proud to have them on your team! I know you probably have many teams that go out to do this work and I hope they are all as good as this team. They set the standard of excellence! Based on this experience, I would definitely recommend Bakers to everyone. Please pass this on to their boss as he should know just how good these two men are, if he already doesn't. I also want to commend you on your job as sales representative (Randy Fonner). You were extremely knowledgeable in what you do, pleasant to work with, and quick to correct any problems. Dealing with structural issues is such a stressful ordeal, but all the gentlemen we dealt with at Baker's made it so much easier. Bradley Peterson was always available to answer questions and gladly came back more than once to make sure we were comfortable with his proposal and the finished product. The crew that performed the work were terrific. They showed up early and left late. They communicated about everything and best of all was their attitude. Every day for a week these men climbed under our house into a very tiny space and I heard hard work accompanied by laughter throughout the day. I never heard a comment that was negative in any way and they were always smiling. Tysean Lacks, Brennan Cole and Geovanni Medina have the best attitudes and work ethic! Any of these friendly and professional men are welcome at my home anytime. In fact, we intend to request the exact same crew for our work in the future. Thanks guys!

Thank you for being honest and treating me with respect and dignity. As a woman homeowner, calling for home repairs is often one of the most stressful parts of maintaining a house. The fear of being taken advantage of or pressured into unnecessary work is very real and far too common. When I noticed cracks and changes in my foundation, you sent out one of your experts Gavin Melan to come and walk me through the setup, explain how the issue is identified, and show me what the correction process involves. He spoke to me as an intelligent adult — no scare tactics, no talking down to me. Because of that, I now feel much more comfortable and confident in choosing the right repairs and fully understand the process.

I have a 125 year old house. The house has been neglected for 50 years. Last year, Ground Works installed 7 posts in my basement to stabilize the house (its on a big hill). They came back this year to check that all was well and found that it was NOT. They then reinstalled the posts and a wall in the basement that was bowing. They worked REALLY hard. They had planned to work and accomplish the fix in 2 days but it took them 4 days and they worked all day everyday (including Saturday). Joseph actually tore his rotator cuff banging away on the rocks around my house. Jeremy took over for poor Joseph and Martin finished up the job on Monday. They were pleasant and considerate and professional. They clearly explained everything they were doing and why it needed doing. I really couldn't have asked for better.

I'm giving 5 stars even though we were unable to have Groundworks complete our job as planned. They bumped us up two weeks ahead of schedule. When they came to the house they found that the work order was missing a bunch of additional things that needed to be added to complete the job. There was a miscommunication between the individuals who wrote the job plan and the workers. The foreman, Cale showed genuine empathy and did everything he could to try and see if it was possible to do the job within our original price range. While Cale moved back and fourth inspecting our crawl space and calling the office to try to find a solution, Joey, Gauge and Brad helped brainstorm and entertain my toddler. When ultimately we would be unable to afford the job after the job was written properly, they were still kind and gave us a direct contact to chat with on the best way to move forward. My Husband spoke with Martin and he was very informative, honest and helpful. Despite us not being able to move forward with our project as planned, we will definitely be going with Groundworks in the future. Everyone we worked with was kind, honest and professional.

We contacted Baker's before we made an offer on a bigger home. The mines had gone underneath, and we wanted to put the work into having a bigger home. Unfortunately, the offer on the home was not accepted, but the CFI who quoted the job was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He made me safe knowing that the home could be saved by stabilizing the foundation. We are still in the market for a bigger home and if I need any work completed, I will be calling Baker's. They really made me feel secure that I could keep my family safe if any of these situations occurred at my current home or any future homes.

Excellent service. Bob Liga took his time to insoect inside and outside. Discussed in detail. Water issue and tge previous 8,000.00 job did nothing to correct it. Advised never appropriate for correcting my problems. Bob has given me several ideas and prommised to help in anyway he could. Just him educating us and giving ideas is all I can ask for. As the owner of keystone basement had already told me it was not a job for his company yet offered his service for a job that was not needed. Keystone offered a dry basement for 8,000. But still I'm suffering with water in my basement. My full review on poor service for Keystone Basement is posted on the Keystone Basements site. Beware where you go. Beware of Keystone Basement get everything in writing. Hold them accountable for a dry basement that they advertise. I regret ever calling them and being taken in by the nice sales rep that promise to resolve my water damage knowing with my disability I couldn't keep track of their work. Beware of Keystone Basement promises!!
