We had taken care of the items at our church that we had to do like removing everything from the walls. We received a reminder text several days before scheduled work and again closer to start date. Brock called to give estimated time of arrival each day. Brock, Rich, and Travis were super professional. Communication was great as they kept us informed of the process as they went along. They also set up expectations upon arrival. We had started covering some important items before they arrived, but they covered contents with plastic before beginning the work. They alerted us to any potential problems before beginning the process. Job took a little over 2 1/2 days. We had a wrap up discussion at the end of each day. The guys worked well together and did not stand around. They did the job they came to do.

This review is for any single, female, homeowner that needs work done and are looking for an honest company. Trust Bakers. I had Bob come to give me an estimate on my cracked, sunken patio, he let me know they could try to do it but it wouldn't be pretty and I may not get the results I wanted. I wanted to try anyway. We booked. Bob called and said I was assigned a foreman named Hayden and he thought that was the best foreman for the job. The day of my appointment arrived, bad weather hit. They went out of their way to reschedule me for the weekend. No worries. The day came. Hayden arrived and let me know if he did the job I would be wasting my money and that I should just put the funds towards getting a new patio….in a nice way. When Bob did his inspection my patio was decorated with chairs, rugs, Halloween decorations and things. I had it emptied for the job. So, he could not accurately assess. Not his fault! I'm very happy with the services I ended up not receiving from this company due to their honesty and ethics. Customer service was also great. Communication was great. If I ever have a need in the future (I probably will, my house is 107yrs old) I will not hesitate to contact Bakers Waterproofing. You shouldn't hesitate to contact them either!

I have a 125 year old house. The house has been neglected for 50 years. Last year, Ground Works installed 7 posts in my basement to stabilize the house (its on a big hill). They came back this year to check that all was well and found that it was NOT. They then reinstalled the posts and a wall in the basement that was bowing. They worked REALLY hard. They had planned to work and accomplish the fix in 2 days but it took them 4 days and they worked all day everyday (including Saturday). Joseph actually tore his rotator cuff banging away on the rocks around my house. Jeremy took over for poor Joseph and Martin finished up the job on Monday. They were pleasant and considerate and professional. They clearly explained everything they were doing and why it needed doing. I really couldn't have asked for better.

I'm giving 5 stars even though we were unable to have Groundworks complete our job as planned. They bumped us up two weeks ahead of schedule. When they came to the house they found that the work order was missing a bunch of additional things that needed to be added to complete the job. There was a miscommunication between the individuals who wrote the job plan and the workers. The foreman, Cale showed genuine empathy and did everything he could to try and see if it was possible to do the job within our original price range. While Cale moved back and fourth inspecting our crawl space and calling the office to try to find a solution, Joey, Gauge and Brad helped brainstorm and entertain my toddler. When ultimately we would be unable to afford the job after the job was written properly, they were still kind and gave us a direct contact to chat with on the best way to move forward. My Husband spoke with Martin and he was very informative, honest and helpful. Despite us not being able to move forward with our project as planned, we will definitely be going with Groundworks in the future. Everyone we worked with was kind, honest and professional.

He was very kind and walked us through every step of the process. We felt so confident from go that they were going to take care of us. Tyler and his crew were on our job, and they were also amazing. They worked so hard for two days to get the job done in a timely and correct manner. We can't say enough things about not only the employees but the products they offer. We have been in our house for 10 years and have always had a wet basement but now we are able to use it for living space and we are so happy with the whole experience! 10/10 would recommend!

After his thorough structural inspection of our home, he pointed out cracks that we were unaware of, and remarked on causes of the damage that we were concerned about. My kids heard him talking about “cracks” in our house, and said they didn’t know they “we are living in a crack house”. I laughed so hard, I had to pee. Bob was truly impressive with his structural engineering knowledge and well organized presentation. Foreman, Tyler Barnhart and his crew were very professional, neat and tidy. I didn't have any mess to clean up besides some dust which I expected. I want to thank Tyler for keeping in touch with me through the process and sending me pictures of the progress, since I couldn't be present during the work. The team of Theron and Roger just completed the installation of sump pump, battery, channel and pipe system at my home. These gentlemen were punctual, professional, kind and encouraged questions from me and were happy to explain everything. They were respectful of me and my property and cleaned the driveway prior to leaving for the day. The project was originally proposed in a different way; upon walking through , Theron the foreman re-evaluated the options and I agreed to the changes which also were able to be accomplished without moving the hot water tank and laundry tubs and other extra work. Theron also adjusted the contract and price which then saved me money. His action spoke volumes of great customer service. First and foremost, excellent customer service was exemplified by both Theron and Roger introducing themselves and extending their hands to shake mine upon arrival. They did an awesome and professional job and I highly recommend them if you are in need of such a project in your home.

The crew called me ahead of time the day of my scheduled appt. to make sure I knew when they'd be there . They were on time and courteous. The price was not cheap, but considering the extent of the repairs and the solution it was acceptable. A deposit was made and the next day a date was locked in. Just had Marshall Boyles inspect my sump pump that the company installed in my home in 2021. I would like to commend Marshall for his terrific work ethic. He is the first employee that really answered my questions in a clear and concise manner. He tightened wall anchors with care managing not to scratch my recently painted game room. He took time to clean the outside of the pump area. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Marshall for a job well done!

We recently had Groundworks come out to address a washout problem in the driveway. When I called, they had an inspector out the very next day which was impressive. More impressive than that was the inspector himself, Chris. He not only addressed the issue that we are going to have corrected immediately but, he also inspected something of concern on an inside wall and our entire foundation. He was honest, thorough, very kind and professional. He explained Everything in detail and we feel confident in what we're are going to have done and what we may need in the future will be done the same. Truly Thank you Chris and Groundworks!

Excellent service. Bob Liga took his time to insoect inside and outside. Discussed in detail. Water issue and tge previous 8,000.00 job did nothing to correct it. Advised never appropriate for correcting my problems. Bob has given me several ideas and prommised to help in anyway he could. Just him educating us and giving ideas is all I can ask for. As the owner of keystone basement had already told me it was not a job for his company yet offered his service for a job that was not needed. Keystone offered a dry basement for 8,000. But still I'm suffering with water in my basement. My full review on poor service for Keystone Basement is posted on the Keystone Basements site. Beware where you go. Beware of Keystone Basement get everything in writing. Hold them accountable for a dry basement that they advertise. I regret ever calling them and being taken in by the nice sales rep that promise to resolve my water damage knowing with my disability I couldn't keep track of their work. Beware of Keystone Basement promises!!

I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years, but I have never had a better experience than I had with Baker's Waterproofing. We had water leaking into our basement from the floor due to hydrostatic pressure. Steve Cahl, our salesman did a thorough inspection and gave us a detailed explanation with a video of what was causing the problem and how Baker's would fix it. After we agreed on the contract, he told us what to expect, the date the job would begin, what time the craftsmen would show up, and how long the project would take. Everything he said was true. Their communication leading up to and during the job was exceptional. Steve always returned my calls immediately when I had questions. The gentlemen who did the work – Tyler Barnhart (foreman), Joey Pickard, and Brandon Miller were incredibly polite, pleasant and unbelievably hard working.Tyler called me the day before, and each morning to let me know what time they would arrive. They not only showed up on time, they were early both days! The job was finished in a day and a half. Their expertise was clearly evident in the quality and timeliness of their work. And their work is guaranteed for life with a transferrable warranty. Thank you, gentlemen, for a very positive experience! You rock!

We contacted Baker's before we made an offer on a bigger home. The mines had gone underneath, and we wanted to put the work into having a bigger home. Unfortunately, the offer on the home was not accepted, but the CFI who quoted the job was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He made me safe knowing that the home could be saved by stabilizing the foundation. We are still in the market for a bigger home and if I need any work completed, I will be calling Baker's. They really made me feel secure that I could keep my family safe if any of these situations occurred at my current home or any future homes.

It seems the other waterproofing companies in Pittsburgh do and that and it didn’t sit well with me. I highly recommend Nathan and his team!

John Beck, the service technician, came out for the annual inspection/ maintenance of our sump pump. He communicated with me several days prior to remind me of the appointment day and time and let me know the day of the appointment what time he expected to arrive. John was very friendly and professional. He explained to me what he was going to be checking and how he would be checking it. He let me know that everything looked okay and operated fine. He gave me his business card and told me to call him directly if I had any concerns or if any problems arose.

I first used Groundworks one year ago to install a drain and sump pump to correct a water problem in the basement. It has completely fixed the problem. Today, a team worked to encapsulate a crawl space in another part of the basement. The team of Cale, Joey, Gauge, and Brad showed up on time and worked efficiently to complete the job. Everyone in the company communicates well and is responsive. The teams, both this year and last year, are extremely neat and leave the work space in great condition.

I hired Baker's Waterproofing at recommendation of a recently hired plumbing contractor after their work revealed a leak coming through my foundation. I called Baker's and they sent somebody out for an initial inspection of my basement and garage. It was ultimately uncovered that my foundation was built of cinderblocks and was not only leaking water from the steep hill behind my home whenever it rained or whenever snow melted, but also that groundwater was welling up and through it from the ground below. Baker's scheduled a time that worked for both their workers and my time, and sent out Victor and Miguel to get a full waterproofing, french drain, and pump installation with backup system installation completed. Their work quality, work ethic, and determination to keep timeliness blew me away. Despite running into several complications and delays that were through no fault of their own, not to mention inclement weather on one of the scheduled days of work (heavy snowfall), they managed to work with their small crew to get all of the work done in about a week's total time. It only took them two days of work to complete a full job along nearly the entire basement wall, the whole back garage wall, and one entire side wall of the garage. On top of this, from start to finish of this project with Baker's Waterproofing, every person I spoke to and worked with was extremely professional, courteous, and explained anything I needed elaboration on clearly and concisely; and their pricing was not only competitive, but extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of work they did. I cannot recommend Baker's Waterproofing enough; they are worth every minute and every penny. Special thanks to Victor and Miguel. If I ever need anything Baker's Waterproofing can do again, I am definitely asking for them by name.

I could tell Nathan was very passionate about what he does for a living. It is nice to meet someone that has pride in what they do. The crew did an amazing job as well.
