Case Study: Foundation Repair in Wilton Manors, FL

Lush green plants and grass in front of a white house with tiled roof and windows.

A homeowner in Wilton Manors, FL, faced serious structural concerns after discovering over 3 inches of foundation settlement beneath the master bedroom. With uneven floors, exterior cracks, and growing worries about long-term damage, they needed a fast and permanent solution. Alpha Foundations responded with a tailored stabilization plan using push piers and polyurethane foam to reinforce the foundation and restore the home’s integrity—completing the project in just three days.

The Challenge

  • Major foundation settlement with a -3.1” drop in the master bedroom
  • Cracked exterior walls and visibly uneven flooring
  • Urgent need for repair due to structural risk and legal action

The Solution

  • 30 perimeter push piers for deep foundation support
  • 400 sq. ft. of polyurethane foam injected under the master bedroom slab
  • Step-by-step communication and walkthroughs with the homeowner

The Impact

  • Foundation fully stabilized and home levelness improved
  • Long-term structural integrity restored
  • Home value enhanced with minimal disruption

Before Foundation Repair:

A tiled patio with a section of tiles removed and stacked, exposing dirt underneath near a white wall.

Settlement That Couldn’t Be Ignored

The home had a -3.1-inch slope in the master bedroom, where the floors were visibly tilted and uneven. The homeowner noticed cracks along the exterior walls, signaling a foundation that was shifting—and fast.

After Foundation Repair:

A close-up of a metal foundation pier installed in a dirt hole, secured with bolts and nuts.

Push Piers for Permanent Support

Alpha Foundations installed 30 push piers around the home’s perimeter to reach stable soil and permanently reinforce the foundation. These piers stopped further settlement and began to improve the home’s levelness.

Polyurethane Foam for Interior Lift

Inside the master bedroom, 400 sq. ft. of high-density polyurethane foam was injected beneath the slab. This foam filled voids and helped raise the sunken area, improving floor level without major demolition.

Ryan and his crew were fantastic. I received a text from him the night before my appointment explaining that they would arrive around mid-morning (we live about two hours from their business). The morning of the appointment, Ryan called to confirm the estimated arrival time, and I also received a text with updates on the crew’s arrival. When they arrived, they introduced themselves, and Ryan walked me through the project, clearly explaining what they would be doing and how they planned to complete the work. Once they began, they spent most of the day under the house, working diligently. After finishing the work underneath, Ryan came inside and began raising the flooring. When the job was complete, he walked me through the areas they had worked on, explained everything that had been done, and discussed what to expect moving forward. The entire crew was very professional, and I truly appreciated the overall experience.

Had a GREAT Day and a GREAT Experience with Alpha Foundations today!!! Special thanks to Steven and Chris who get all the credit. Communication with Steven was "Absolute PRO"! Actually, I was both surprised and impressed with how well I was "Kept in the loop". This was a big job and investment for me. I was a bit skeptical, anxious and overwhelmend all at the same time. But Steven explained what was going on (and why) such that I became confident that we (mainly me) were doing the right thing. WHEWWW… Anyway, glad I connected with ALPHA and really satisfied with how it all went and turned out. THANKS Steven, Chris and ALPHA!

Taylor B. came out today for an estimate on a house we just bought and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Luckily we didn’t have a problem like we thought. He explained what might have happened and what we could do to take care of it ourselves. We definitely recommend this company !
