The father-son team, Ross and Keith Johnson, started Innovative Basement Authority (IBA) in 2005. Keith led the growth of the business and expanded to multiple offices in Minnesota and North Dakota. In 2019, IBA partnered with Groundworks, the nation’s leading and fastest-growing foundation and water management solutions company to invest more in their business and employees. I was extremely happy with the work. My garage slab had cracked and dropped over an inch at one end leaving a big gap under the garage door. When they came to survey, they caught 2 other voids under the whole front edge and at tge other corner. This was during the winter. Once the ground warmed up, they arrived on the scheduled day, about an hour early! The whole job only took about 45 min. Brandon and Marc were friendly and professional and piped in exactly enough foam to raise the slab level. I was impressed with their finesse. Nothing wasted, they left my garage clean and looking great.

Chaz came out to look at our basement that we were concerned was having moisture problems. It was a free quote/inspection, and he was very honest and didn't try to scare us or sell us into anything we didn't actually need. The actual quote just came back and seems reasonably priced, too, given the prices for everything these days.

They did an excellent job, communication throughout the work was awesome and they left the space cleaner than what it looked like before they arrived. All around a great experience and glad I went with Groundworks for this repair. I hope my home doesnt need any other work done, but if my home decides otherwise, I will be reaching out to Groundworks again for assistance.
