First I met with Jeff about Crawlspace encapsulation. He discovered 2 rotten floor Joice. Replacement of those as well as encapsulation was very reasonable. They sent out Andy and Elijah who were very efficient and considerate. The other half of the space was an open basement area. The main front wall was so wet mortar was easing out. Jeff recommended a french drain with a pump. Edward and Jeremy were not only respectful but explained every step . Thank you Tarheel Basement Crew !!

Very professional experience with Ken, Stephen Foster and Michael T. There was a great deal of work to do and they accomplished it promptly, carefully and with minimal disturbance to our enjoyment of the rest of the house. We haven't had enough rain to verify that the issue is solved but so far we are very satisfied.

We heard about Tarheel Basement Systems through some local radio advertisements on 2 Guys Named Chris – called and met with a very knowledgeable company representative. We decided to get some much needed basement/crawl space work done and are very happy with the finished result. The number one thing we have noticed besides the dry basement is that our air quality inside our house is so much better. That alone was worth having the work done, not having to worry about moisture and mold are just added benefits. Thank you, the process from start to finish was very smooth and the crew was very professional and did a wonderful job!

I was extremely satisfied with the professionalism and hard work that Adam Canter (lead), Tim Witherspoon and Ryan Oldman displayed. They worked well together to complete the job on time and above expectations. I was impressed with the systems but even more impressed with the way it was installed, the efforts to control the dust and the cleanup that occurred throughout the job. I would suggest you ask for this crew by name. I had the work quoted by others but there was no warranty included. I think the extra money spent was well worth the quality, warranty and included follow-up inspections. The lifting peer systems installed closed the cracks in the brick veneer on the length of 3 sides of the house as planned. I observed the installation of the wall braces and could see the immediate reduction in bowing of wall. Very happy with results.

During remodel of our spacious walk-in basement, came to realize that the back wall and fireplace leaked during a hard rain. Quickly ruling out any outside solution we turned to Tar Heel for their AquaStop BasementGutterl. Paul our inspector did exceptional job of understanding our unique problems offering us options that we used to create an affordable solution. The diagram he drew was exceptional so by this time we had a lot of confidence. Our installers Mathais, Terrance and Matt really could not have done a better job. I would recommend Tar Heel Basement System to a friend. One piece of advice I can offer is to get THBS to work first, don't design your interior with water problems as a consideration.
