This company is absolutely wonderful, From the moment we got in touch with our inspector Shawn and he made it his priority to get us seen and inspected and even stayed late to make sure we knew all the problems and solutions with our foundation he was very thorough in explaining what was going on, and the process to fix it and the cause and effect of every change, Absolutely wonderful customer service, The crew that came out which was Caleb, Carlos, and Brandon, Were top notch they went above and beyond on doing the work we needed and were great when it came to me asking questions and their explaining of the process was top notch explained everything they did and what everything will do when it comes time to check in on our permanent adjustable jacks, all in all would recommend this company to anybody looking for foundation work, absolute top of the top company

We haven't "pull the trigger" yet, but from the initial call I made to Scott driving off, every part of the appointment was awesome. They have tools in their arsenal to make anyone jealous. After examining our "situation" carefully, Scott went to his truck for about 15-20 minutes and came back with a presentation that wowed my wife and I. He explained everything and tried to taylor the estimate to our budget. He absolutely WAS NOT pushy or overbearing with the bid packet. The information he left us more than explained or answered our questions (not that we had any). Scott and Groundworks are polite and professional.

I called out groundworks because I noticed separation between my main load wall and ceiling. At first they gave me a quote for installing a sump pump and drainage systems as well as encapsulating the crawl space which was around 49k. I simply could not afford to do that so then they just gave me a quote for raising the house. I remember Justin, I believe his name was pointing out that there was bad floor joists under there and the beams were cutting into the wood. The main reason for the sinking was the soft soil underneath due to moisture getting under the house. I could only do what I could afford to do at the time which was raise the house. I wish I would have paid better attention to the contract though. I thought that estimate for 13k and some change included replacing the bad floor joists but it only included replacing the pillars. The foreman could only raise the house so much because the wood beam, which was good wood, was cutting into the bad floor joists. So the separation wasn't completely closed because if the foreman, Irving I believe his name was, raised it any higher the beam would just cut into the bad wood. They did close the gap a little but there is still a gap. I would imagine to get them back out here to replace the bad joists would be another 5 to 10 k. I assumed that raising the house and securing it would have included replacing the bad joists but I guess I was mistaken. I read through the contract and it only mentioned replacing the pillars. The work they did complete seems quality but I wish it would have included replacing the bad joists since that directly affected their ability to raise the house all the way.

Dylan Johnson came to our home and did a very thorough job of checking the entire area. We needed our concrete driveway lifted and repaired. Our sidewalk was also needing some attention. He did a great job explaining everything and educating us on how Groundwork’s process works. It was not cheap but it was reasonable and about what we expected it to cost.

They walked me through the scope of work, what their expectations were, the process and answered my questions. I was informed of my current condition when Scott Ashmore visited my home last fall. All three men pointed to the ground and structural issues. It was important for me to find a solid solution, a confident company with performers and who use a quality product and committed service. Chris and Brandon came to stableize my slab. Chris did a good job of explaining what he was doing, and how he watched my existing cracks to see if they were contracting, or at one point he stopped the injection because the crack was expanding. He let me know of a void under the slab at one place that he was able to fill. And he did a great job of drilling in the grout between tiles so the tiles in the entry didn't chip. Brandon came along behind him and leveled off where the mixture came up through the holes, and dusted away concrete residue. The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 is because they were late due to a meeting at headquarters that ran overtime, and when they hit my mailbox on the way out they didn't come back to tell me. But their work is 5-star.
