"We were in need of a repair to our front porch/sidewalk landing which had developed a crack at the connection point, and would require a lift of the sunken portion. I reached out to two repair companies for an inspection and free quote. The first appointment was with JES Foundation Repair and their representative, Blake Snidow. From the wording and "tone" of his very first text, I was already impressed with Blake. The phone call with him that followed was as equally professional, pleasant and kind. We set up the appointment for him to come to the house. He assessed our situation, suggested the probable cause and explained how it could be properly fixed so that the possibility of it reoccurring would be slim to none. He clearly explained the process, the product to be used, the anticipated time of repair and answered our countless questions. He did an exceptional job of diagraming, photographing, inspection of the entire perimeter of the property, the yard soil itself, and probably more that we didn't even pick up on, all so that the repair team would have the best possibility of knowing what to expect upon arrival. He listened ever so patiently and was very sensitive to our concern about a possible exorbitant cost, since we are retired seniors now on a fixed income. He led us ever so patiently (without pressure) down the path of all considerations and possibilities, including various payment options. He was not in a mad rush to price and run, but took time to not only ensure that we were completely comfortable with every aspect of the job to be done, the contract wording, and payment arrangement, but to also allow us time to get to know one another. I cannot say enough about how impressed we were with this young man. It was so refreshing to see such maturity, honesty, superb communication skills, respect, patience, sincerity and kindness at his age. What a remarkable representative for the company Blake is! We felt so comfortable with the whole process (which ultimately led to the signing of a contract for the work to be done) that we decided to cancel the appointment with the other company that was scheduled to come a week later. Our job is set to be done in a couple weeks, so we cannot yet speak to our satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the completed job; however, we both feel very confident that it will be done right and to our standards. And we are both VERY picky. It was so wonderful to meet you Blake! Keep up the great work!!"
