Concrete Lifting in Manor, TX

Review Logo 4.8 (497)

Manor, Texas, experiences a predominantly dry climate that can have detrimental effects on concrete structures around your property. The clay soil prevalent in the area shrinks when it dries out, which can cause cracks and uneven surfaces in your concrete. Conversely, when the rain arrives, this soil expands, exerting pressure on your concrete and resulting in unsightly and unsafe conditions. Our team at FSS utilizes PolyRenewal, a state-of-the-art polyurethane foam injection system, to effectively lift and level your concrete surfaces while providing long-lasting protection against moisture-related damage.

Understanding the local soil and environmental conditions is crucial for successful foundation repair. In Manor, expansive clay soils are common and can undergo significant changes in size due to moisture fluctuations. This movement can lead to various foundation issues that may require expert intervention. Our experienced professionals are well-equipped to address these challenges and ensure the stability of your home’s foundation for years to come.

We've earned 456 five star reviews.

"We had a sudden issue with the foundation, Adrian S came out and set things up for us, and the crew showed up really fast and did a magnificent job. Our crew Mike L, David L. Elyas L, Robert T, and Stafford C. could not have been better. We were facing a major structural issue with the house which could have resulted in untold damage. Thank goodness I found them, and made the call. Adrian really walked my wife through each and every part of the process which helped a great deal in her understanding of the need for the work. They explained every single step of the process as they did it, they worked with us to minimize the disruption. They showed us what they were doing, and actually found another issue which could have been a major subsidence for which we are exceptionally thankful. While any foundation issue is a panic situation they were able to really put my wife's mind at ease, they raised my daughters room over an inch, and the garage over 2 and stopped the cracking dead in its tracks. The doors now shut properly, and the job was as neat as possible, and they cleaned up very well afterwards which was nice. The moved the downspouts away from the house to perfect locations and set the pop valves well so I do not have to worry about the mower. They also were very careful and did not damage any of the tie rods on the porch which was very thoughtful. If you live in the South Texas and Cibolo area, and don't call these guys you are making a bad mistake. Yes, it is expensive, but they made the process transparent, and easy. If I could give them SIX stars I would do so. I just feel sorry for the pouring rain and humidity that they had to suffer through."

Types of Concrete Damage in Manor

Common Causes of your Concrete Problems in Manor

Soil Erosion

Over time, water or wind can wash away soil particles beneath the concrete slab, creating empty spaces or voids that cause the concrete to sink or crack.

Poor Soil Compaction

If the soil beneath the concrete wasn't properly compacted during construction, it can settle unevenly over time, leading to cracks and sinking.

Tree Root Growth

Roots from nearby trees can grow under concrete slabs, lifting and cracking them as they expand.

Freeze-Thaw Cycles

Repeated freezing and thawing of water in the soil can cause it to expand and contract, putting pressure on the concrete and leading to cracks and lifting.

Heavy Loads

Excessive weight from vehicles, equipment, or other heavy objects can stress the concrete, causing it to crack and settle.

Moisture Changes

Fluctuations in moisture levels can significantly impact the soil's stability beneath concrete, leading to erosion and voids that cause the concrete to settle.

Understanding these common causes can help you take preventive measures to maintain the integrity of your concrete surfaces and avoid costly repairs.
