Why your neighbors trust Foundation Recovery Systems

We've earned 1,008 five star reviews.

"Foundation Recovery System Certified Field Inspector Doug Helfrich set the bar high for foundation inspectors. I called 2 other companies out to my Mom’s house to inspect her foundation due to a couple of cracks and a small puddle of water on the slab floor from the water main & basement spigot in the foundation’s front stem wall, and got 2 bids. Then came Doug..!! Doug throughly inspected the whole basement, from all 4 stem walls to the foundation slab floor. Doug is a professional, he’s extremely knowledgeable and explains everything in detail from small cracks inn the slab to the water leaking in from the front slab spigot, to things to keep an eye on, and/or future repairs that ‘may be needed’. What started out as a call that I expected to get another foundation quote for $10,000.00 - $15,000.00 turned out to be only a $200.00 fix to repack and reseal the water main & spigot in the front stem wall. Mom’s foundation was still solid. Talk about good news stress relief … if you need Foundation Repair this is the ONLY company to trust & call: FOUNDATION RECOVERY SYSTEMS & ask them to send Doug Helfrich…!! And tell them *SuperFan Jan told you call. Stephen SuperFan Jan’s Son *This MLB season is SuperFan Jan’s 68th Consecutive StL Cardinals Home Opener"

Common Causes of your Crawl Space Problems in Saint Louis

Have you ever wondered why your crawl space might be causing trouble? The environment around homes in Saint Louis often plays a significant role. Here, the local climate with its seasonal moisture changes and clay-rich soils can lead to shifts in the ground. Clay soils, which are common in this area, tend to expand and contract with moisture levels, causing the ground to move. During wet seasons, heavy rainfall can saturate the soil, adding extra pressure, and when it dries, the soil contracts. This constant movement creates an unstable base for homes, potentially compromising the structural integrity of crawl spaces over time.

Crawl spaces in homes around Saint Louis may become susceptible to various issues due to these shifting soils. You might notice warning signs like sagging floors, cracks in interior walls, or doors that stick. Additionally, moisture intrusion can lead to mold growth and wood rot, further damaging the supporting structures beneath your home. Addressing these issues early is vital as it prevents more extensive damage that could be costly. By understanding these underlying causes, homeowners can take steps to mitigate risks and maintain a healthy and stable foundation.
