"Primarily dealt with Joshua Eaton, a little with Dawson but all were professional, Ty McCully, Austin Benton, Aaron Hernandez did a good job, were efficient and did a good clean up in my garage. Being as we just had a 12” snow fall I didn’t expect them to work but they did, leveled the garage, set up sump pump and “sister” joist a beam. They had a hard time breaking up frozen clumps of dirt, but stated if the ground doesn't settle well come spring they would return. All in all I would recommend Foundation Recovery Systems"
Common Causes of your Crawl Space Problems in Springdale
Have you ever wondered why some homes in your area seem to develop crawl space issues over time? Properties in Springdale often experience patterns of moisture that lead to such problems. The clay-rich soils found in many local areas can expand significantly when they absorb water, especially after heavy rainfalls. This expansion puts pressure on crawl space walls, floors, and foundations. Additionally, the shifting soil alters water drainage, creating pools in unprotected areas and sometimes leading to structural damage. The freeze-thaw cycles that occasionally affect the region can also contribute to the expansion and contraction of soil, further exacerbating these issues.
These environmental factors can stress the crawl spaces of many houses, resulting in common signs like sagging floors, musty odors, mildew, or warped structures. Early detection of any uneven settling, visible cracks, or water accumulation in your home's crawl space is crucial. This extra attention helps to prevent more serious damage, which could compromise your home's structural integrity. Maintaining awareness of these signs and understanding their potential causes can guide you in addressing issues promptly and preserving the health of your crawl space for the long term.
