He completed a proactive service check on our sump system and basement liners, thoroughly tested all water ports, flood-tested the sump, and replaced an aging battery before it became a problem. He also found that our current dehumidifier had an issue getting rid of moisture which was causing our mold problem, explaining how the downtime had affected basement humidity and addressing it with a replacement. Enter Groundworks… I listened and received several quotes to remedy the situation, but the techniques and lifetime warranties led me to these guys. All work was done professionally to include clean up and concrete patches where needed. Most of the cracks have closed up (some drywall mud and paint later) and the sticking doors resolved. We had a perimeter drain ditch installed around our condominium interior crawl space with relocation and deepening of the existing sump pump. I toured the space just after the job was done and found no significant pooled water under the vapor barrier. Only a few days earlier I had noted pooling as much as 3-4”. Groundwork’s is the only company I could find who would actually agree to do this. It works! The job was done exactly as promised with an efficient, polite, hard working crew. Highly recommended!

I have a porch off my house that has been showing signs of settling and separation from the house. I put it for an estimate and Andrew Young came out to inspect, he was much more thorough than I was expecting. Contractors usually take a look and throw a number at you and ask when you want to start the job. Andrew Young actually put on a Tyvek suit and crawled under my porch to take pictures and document the angles of the sloping with a laser level. I was incredibly impressed with his knowledge and dedication. After he put his tools away he actually did a rendering on his laptop of what his suggested solution was going to be to solve the issue permanently. I’m still weighing my options of shoring up my porch or doing a tear down and building a deck but if I choose the shoring up option I have complete faith in GroundWorks thanks to the professionalism shown by Andrew.

I would definitely recommend having them come out to do an inspection if you think you need work done. When I got quotes from 4 different companies, they were the only ones to use equipment to show me what needed work and help answer all of my concerns. Andrew did a great job doing my initial inspection and quote. He was very thorough and even waited for me to ask advice from family before making a decision. They also had a competitive price. It was reasonable for the work they were doing, but a little cheaper than a couple of the companies. Overall, I am very satisfied with their work.

Both Rob, who did the inspection and gave me the estimate, and the crew of Juan, Eric, and Derek arrived right on time or even a little early. They explained everything to me clearly and thoroughly. They let me know when they expected to finish and provided photos and video of what they found under my house and the work that they did there They completed the work in only two days rather than they expected three days. They cleaned up after themselves to perfection. They took an interest in my house and in me. They even left some materials that they thought I might need in the future if I had further work done by other people I can’t think of anything that they could have done to improve my experience.

It was becoming dangerous and a serious tripping hazard. They came out to look at it, scheduled us in, and were able to complete our repairs a week earlier than planned. They showed up on time and completed the work in the time they estimated. The workers were respectful and professional. The repair work was better than we expected. It was completely cleaned up, swept clean and perfect. We highly recommend Groundworks and will call them again for any future repairs.
