Their first action was to ensure the work area of the basement would be dust free by enclosing the area with plastic. They were familiar with the bentonite clay soils below and had proper equipment to install new pile foundations and the two columns for support of the upper floor. At completion the team leader went out of his way to answer all my questions and to clarify the warrantee covering my projects. The crew left the area clean and ready for use, removing all the debris.

In addition, their company offers an array of financial options which are affordable. Stephan Adams, the contractor, did an excellent job of servicing my needs from the beginning to the end. Thyler Hendrix, the foreman of the crew, did a super job of keeping me informed of their progress and oversaw this project to make sure my needs were met. Joshua Tutt and Juan Osorio, the crew members, were highly skilled and all 3 worked cooperatively together as a terrific team. In addition, Lilly and the office staff were very helpful and friendly. Our crawl space could get very wet. It would dry up at certain times of the year, but parts of it would sometimes still be damp. We regularly replaced our sump pump, to insure it would always work, but the condition of our crawlspace was always a concern. We looked for a company that could "fix" our crawlspace issues…dry out the crawlspace and replace some of the wood that had water damage over the years. The only company that looked like they could do the work necessary, was Groundworks. We were impressed with them from the very beginning. We scheduled a date for the work to begin, about three weeks, and waited for the team to arrive. The company provided great communication regarding when the crew would start. The team would call every morning to let us know when they would arrive. The first order of daily business was the crew leader telling us what work was to be done. At the end of each day, we were told what had been accomplished, what was in order for the next day, and when to expect them the next morning. Always asking if we had any questions or concerns they could address. The next morning we would receive a call telling us when to expect them. Upon their arrival, the crew leader would begin by letting us know what their plan was for the day, and asking if there were questions or concerns. Then he would join the others with the day's work. This was the process every day until the job was done. The crew was the best. They were always professional, always friendly, & always busy. Most importantly, they were very careful to keep our home clean. Everything was protected from getting dirty. The crew members were Eric, Tyler & Wyatt. Tyler was the crew leader, who was there to make sure our questions were answered and that everything was done to our complete satisfaction. I cannot say enough good about them. They worked nonstop, they were always in good spirits and they did excellent work. The cost to complete the envelopment of our crawl space along with the repair and replacement of some of the framing and posts due to water damage seemed expensive. To me it wasn't difficult to justify knowing if the crawlspace issues were not taken care they would certainly worsen to the point of failure and then the repairs would be even more costly. Also, if the crawl space was left as it was, the value of the home would be less if we were to sell. Not so now, the crawl space is immaculate. It is clean and bright. All the posts and framing look great. Where the crawl space was once a negative, it is now a positive. Showing that we as owners take pride in maintaining our property. All said, it has been a great experience. We are very satisfied with the work they have done. (house is located in Whatcom County, WA)

The project: install drainage to a yard basket from two gutter downspouts and a sump outlet. Everyone we interfaced with was great to us – Sal gave us the quote, Steve in production got us taken care of for utility marking, and José C. and Rigoberto were great installers. Our property was left very clean and José and Rigoberto were very professional. The price was fair as well. The only reason for four stars instead of five is internal communication within Groundworks. We had scheduled the job a few months prior, but utility marking was not complete by the install date. The install crew had outdated plans from an earlier proposal of scope and the quote in their system didn't match the copy we had received when we signed. That said, when we got ahold of the right individuals everything was ironed out and overall we are happy with the work.

I was trying to sell my home and, upon receiving an inspection, found I had a bowed wall in my basement. I called Groundworks. Sergio Robles came to my house with his equipment. He was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained and demonstrated the problem so I could understand what needed to be done. The price he quoted was very reasonable so I signed up to have the work done. A couple weeks later a crew came out. It included Emanuel V, Luis V, and SaAung P. They also were very pleasant. They worked efficiently and had the job done quickly. They had to cut out drywall and I was very happy that they cleaned everything up. The dirt outside was put back and the house looks great inside and out. Thank you Groundworks for a job well done.

Starting with Andrew who did the initial evaluation all the way through with the office that arranged installation date and crew that did the installation. Blake Weavers crew: Kylnn Neighbors, Gabriel Ortega and Devin Hawkins showed up on time, were easy to work with and answered all my questions. Was especially impressed with speed of installation and clean up. Thrilled that they even refastened some insulation that had fallen as well as reattached my dryer venting. 😀. It looks great and will make changing furnace filter an easier job. Would definitely recommend this company and product.
