We are very pleased with our experience. We have a 120 year old home with a large masonry wrap around porch with concrete floor that needed to be leveled. Because of the configuation it was a challenge. We contacted three different firms about our project and selected Groundworks as having the best solution for our problem. John K did an excellent job of coordinating the overall project – especially scheduling and payment arrangements. There were followup emails and texts to confirm all details and scheduling. On the day of our work Marq called ahead to let us know when they would arrive. Marq and Mason arrived on time. They walked through our project with us to obtain any additional information and to explain further exactly what they would be doing – and asked if we had any questions or concerns. They worked well together and coordinated their efforts very efficiently and were completed quicker than expected. They were professional and very personable to us. They did an excellent job of leveling the floor and of cleaning up. The result exceeds my pretty high and hopeful expectations. Several of our family members have seen the results and are very impressed. Based on our very favorable experience we definitely would recommend Groundworks.

We contacted Groundwork for an estimate and the appointment was booked one week from our initial call. Cal was our salesman. Cal called me the day before to confirm the appointment and ask some basic questions. He text ahead of time the day of and let me know when he would arrive, he arrived right on time. This was the third foundation company we met with. Cal spent a lot of time measuring, much more than the other two companies. When we sat down we understood why. Cal was able to explain our foundation in depth and made several recommendations based off the numbers and on our feedback. After a lengthily discussion we made a plan, agreed on terms, and paid the deposit. The work was scheduled to begin January 12th, 2026. Zach was the crew chief, when he arrived he walked us through the process and what to expect. Zach was very personable and professional. Throughout the work Lucas, Chris, and Fayssia were always working. We found the crew to be professional and polite. When I did ask questions or walk around to look at the progress the crew was always happy to answer any questions and explain the process. Everyday Zach updated me on the lifting measurements in the areas of concern and explained what was happening. The crew works hard and cares about the job. Once the work was complete the interior measurements were taken and reviewed with us to ensure we understood the final results. Zach and I walked the parameter reviewing and addressing any questions/concerns. The clean up was thorough and the crew took care in cleaning the site. Our experience was excellent. I highly recommend Groundwork.

Brad, who was the leader of the work crew, was exceptional in every way! We especially appreciated his transparency and the way he communicated with us throughout the entire process. We are doing some renovations to our house and decided that in order to do them, we finally needed to address the obvious foundation repairs necessary to do them correctly. I performed a Google search for foundation repair companies in the Houston area. Foundation Support Specialist was able to schedule me for that very same day. Brian E. was the field inspector assigned to give our house an inspection and estimate for foundation repair. We received notification about 20 minutes prior to his scheduled time by text messages and a phone call, stating that he was on his way. Brian arrived precisely at his scheduled time and was courteous and friendly. After he introduced himself and told us about his company Groundworks (formerly Foundation Support Specialist), he went over a checklist with us to get some history of our home. Afterwards he explained how he would be inspecting our house and what exactly he was looking for. He got to work and was very thorough and professional during his inspection. He measured and drew up a scale diagram of our house, then proceeded to use his Ziplevel to take altitude measurements of the floor throughout our house. His measurements showed that our foundation had sunk almost 2" on the NW corner of our house. He showed us a slideshow on why foundations settle, common practices to repair, and how Groundworks repairs foundations. When he was done, he gave us 3 levels of estimates. A minimal necessary repair, A mid range estimate, and a high end estimate that included extra piers on the SE corner to help support the opposite side of the slab from the repairs. He explained what each level included and answered any questions we had. Brian spent about 2 hours with us and all in all it was a pleasant experience. We have 2 more companies coming out in the next week to give us estimates, and unless they use a similar pier into bedrock system and drastically lower price, we will most likely choose Groundworks for our repairs.

Our estimator, Charles, was prompt, polite and professional. Today, John and Ethan came to level the concrete. From the moment that they got out of the truck, they were exceptional. They kept us informed through each step of the process and the work could not have been better! They represented the company with pride and professionalism. Our driveway/sidewalk is nearly back to the way it was when it was installed nineteen years ago. I would recommend this company and these employees time and again!

We reached out to GroundWorks based on a friend’s recommendation as we were concerned about our house foundation sloping. Shayan came out to help us assess the situation and performed a thorough inspection of the foundation. He took the time to carefully evaluate the structure and clearly explained what he was seeing throughout the process. Fortunately, the results showed that our home’s foundation is in good condition and there were no structural concerns. He did recommend installing earthquake bolting since our home currently doesn’t have it, which could help improve safety and stability during seismic activity. Shayan was professional, thorough, and honest. We really appreciated that he didn’t try to upsell unnecessary repairs and instead provided straightforward guidance and recommendations. Overall, it was a great experience and we’re grateful for the peace of mind.

We had Groundwork’s come out and the crew was courteous and friendly. The crew explained everything that was going to be done. Lenny the foreman was impressive, along with Manuel and Isiah. The work was done efficiently and my basement looks amazing. We had severe water damage and we were suggested to have a French drain installed. The drain and concrete work came out looking amazing. We also had damage to our cinder block foundation that was properly repaired and finished. To combat the potential bowing or movement of our foundation, groundworks installed their steel supports that are encased in our basement slab and connected directly to our joists. The steel supports are impressive. My husband and I are extremely happy with the work that was done and would recommend.

Kevin Sweeney came by my house within 24 hours of calling OBA. Im glad I called because he quickly resolved years of anxiety about moisture in my basement. He was very thorough in using instruments when checking from floor to ceiling. He walked around outside to check out my foundation, drainage and grading as well. He had every opportunity to sell me a big expensive project that I don't need, but instead he was honest and suggested some DIY remedies I can do myself. Highly recommend!!

When he arrived on time , He helped answer questions I had about repairs on my driveway and took a look at the the creepy crawlspace in my basement and recommended a fix for water infiltration. I hired this company to clean out my crawl space and install a sump pump system. The whole crew was outstanding – prompt, polite, and professional. I had to revise the original work order to remove a second job of doing a house jack lift, and the change ended up causing an error on the revised work order – one of the parts for the sump pump system (remote alarm) had not been applied to the new work order even though it was not removed in the change order. Luckily I had asked about it as they were wrapping up. The foreman Mkowma was an absolute rock star – he literally went out of his way to resolve the issue. Since they didn't have the part on the truck, he personally drove back out to my home at the end of his work day and quickly installed the part and showed me how to use it. I did wish I was shown "after" pictures of the finished work but I forgot to ask about it. However the pump is working great and there was already a noticeable improvement in the air quality inside the home the next day.

I used Groundworks based on an ad on FB. I called them for an estimate and the representative Mike Olney inspected the area I needed lifting around my pool. He inspected all of my house in case there were other areas that needed taken care of. I find him honest in his estmate and didn't try to convince me other areas needing work. He said my foundation was in good shape. I have a concrete slab that holds my pool equipment that I asked him about. He told me his company couldn't do any this because of the possibilty of damaging the equipment. He said the slab looked stable and it had sunk as much as it would. I appreciated his honesty in his reviews. He recommended GreenSky for the financing. He walked me through the financing. I told him I wanted to show his workup to my son who lives out of the country. He was understanding. I got the financing quickly and a date for doing the work was communicated to me. The work was done today March 18 by Poly foreman Joe and his co lead Kaly. I couldn't have asked for better employees. They called me before they came and gave me estimated time of arrival. They were on time and Joe walked me through all the work they would be doing. He told me I should feel free to come out to see what they were doing. I had not realized my pool cover should have been removed. Joe happened to have the tool needed to remove the necessary tie downs. He took care of it for me. He asked for my advice on a specific area around the pool. I based my decision on his expertise. They did a great job efficiently. When they completed the work, Joe walked me through what they had done. He helped me with understanding the payment from Green Sky and the five year warranty and the three-year yearly inspection. The employee's were exceptional and kind in the work they did. I would highly recommend this company.

Luis Toy and his team—Andrew and Joey—were outstanding from start to finish. Luis led the project with an extremely high level of professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail. This was not a simple job, and he took the time to thoroughly explain the process, navigate the complexities of the project, and make sure everything was done the right way—not the easy way. His communication was clear, transparent, and consistent throughout, which made a potentially stressful project feel completely manageable.
