I had a rent house come vacant and am in process of doing some repairs to get it ready to sell. I noticed some cracks in the stemwall on one side of the house. I contacted Groundworks to inspect it. A gentleman named Dylan came by and did a thorough inspection and gave me a proposal for peering the wall. I signed a contract and gave him a deposit. The next day he called me to inform me that it would be over two months out. I told him I had a problem with the timeline and he said he would see if anything could be done to shorten the lead time. In the meantime I contacted another company and they said they could do the work quickly and gave me a quote. Groundworks came back with a start date much quicker. The other company's proposal was much cheaper. Groundworks warranty and quality of product is very impressive but since I am selling the property keeping the cost down I important. If it were going to be my long term home I would have gone with them. The other company I chose was highly recommended. I would give Groundworks a 5 star rating. They are great to work with.

Groundworks just finish my slab repair and I’m elated! From the inspector, Donald Richardson, which did a thorough job going through the procedures to repair the slab. To when the repair crew, Hunter and Jones, came out and Hunter went over what they’re we’re going to do to repair the slab. I was amazing how precise they were in lifting the stab and continually cleaning up after themselves. When they were finished, Hunter and I went through checking all the door alignments and that I’m getting good air flow through all my HVAC vents. I think for the first time since I bought the house 15 years ago all my doors are open and closing correctly now. I have worked with a lot of service companies over my 75 years and this is one of the best companies I have used for service! they was great from start to finish plus the pricing is very competitive. if you have a slab problem you need to call Groundworks! Dez, Julien and Tony did a good job, very polite and respectful. I was not able to inspect the work due to an injury but was able to see the levels as they jacked up the floor joists, and they did get the floors level and close up some of the gaps. I was noticing deeper cracks on the interior spaces of my home, mainly around doors. I had seen Groundworks advertised on TV and gave went online and requested an inspection. I was quickly contacted and my inspection was scheduled within about 2 weeks from requesting. My Inspector was very thorough and went over what he recommended for my home. Once I decided to have the work completed my installation was quickly scheduled. Des, Darling and RJ showed up ready to get to work. They did a super job communicating with each other while lifting my home, they were respectful and provided quality service!

We haven't "pull the trigger" yet, but from the initial call I made to Scott driving off, every part of the appointment was awesome. They have tools in their arsenal to make anyone jealous. After examining our "situation" carefully, Scott went to his truck for about 15-20 minutes and came back with a presentation that wowed my wife and I. He explained everything and tried to taylor the estimate to our budget. He absolutely WAS NOT pushy or overbearing with the bid packet. The information he left us more than explained or answered our questions (not that we had any). Scott and Groundworks are polite and professional.

I'm not in the habit of writing gushy reviews, but on a scale of 1-5, our experience was a 10. We had a sinking front porch that needed to be piered. We got a detailed, timely proposal and all of our questions answered beforehand by Daniel R. The work crew, Harold W., Frank L. and Elmo O. did an outstanding job installing the piers and were able to lift the porch back within 1/2 inch of its original position. They answered every question, responded to every request and did extensive cleanup after completing the installation. We even got a discount in real time because they did not need to use all of the materials called for in the original proposal. Harold said they strive to treat each house as if it were their own and they did exactly that. I would highly recommend Groundworks to anyone needing foundation work.
