Seth, Noah and Emani were the last crew who insulted my floorboards and installed ten jacks, completing the encapsulation of my 1924 Chincoteague Island home with a limited height crawl space. Each crew during the transformation of repairing my foundation was professional, hardworking and highly skilled workers. The five years, transferable, of adjusting the foundation is another plus for the company. Thanks JES.

We were in need of a repair to our front porch/sidewalk landing which had developed a crack at the connection point, and would require a lift of the sunken portion. I reached out to two repair companies for an inspection and free quote. The first appointment was with JES Foundation Repair and their representative, Blake Snidow. From the wording and "tone" of his very first text, I was already impressed with Blake. The phone call with him that followed was as equally professional, pleasant and kind. We set up the appointment for him to come to the house. He assessed our situation, suggested the probable cause and explained how it could be properly fixed so that the possibility of it reoccurring would be slim to none. He clearly explained the process, the product to be used, the anticipated time of repair and answered our countless questions. He did an exceptional job of diagraming, photographing, inspection of the entire perimeter of the property, the yard soil itself, and probably more that we didn't even pick up on, all so that the repair team would have the best possibility of knowing what to expect upon arrival. He listened ever so patiently and was very sensitive to our concern about a possible exorbitant cost, since we are retired seniors now on a fixed income. He led us ever so patiently (without pressure) down the path of all considerations and possibilities, including various payment options. He was not in a mad rush to price and run, but took time to not only ensure that we were completely comfortable with every aspect of the job to be done, the contract wording, and payment arrangement, but to also allow us time to get to know one another. I cannot say enough about how impressed we were with this young man. It was so refreshing to see such maturity, honesty, superb communication skills, respect, patience, sincerity and kindness at his age. What a remarkable representative for the company Blake is! We felt so comfortable with the whole process (which ultimately led to the signing of a contract for the work to be done) that we decided to cancel the appointment with the other company that was scheduled to come a week later. Our job is set to be done in a couple weeks, so we cannot yet speak to our satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the completed job; however, we both feel very confident that it will be done right and to our standards. And we are both VERY picky. It was so wonderful to meet you Blake! Keep up the great work!!

This experience has been easy and efficient. Parker came and evaluated our home and worked up an estimate for service the same day. Then Christian, Rick, Hayden and Teagan actually came and did the work. They were so kind and professional. They took the time to answer any questions fully and invited us to see the work as it was being completed. They also completely cleaned up when they left, including taking all of the old concrete trash with them. This was the best contractor experience we’ve ever had. Highly recommend this service!

Dominic and the project team; especially the crew foreman on my install were an A+ team. They are superior to any other contractor I have ever had. The crew foreman kept me updated with details of the install. The team worked non-stop in the harsh weather to get my crawl space enscapulated within 2 days. I am so grateful to them! However, you have the option to use their electricians for outlet installation. That was a poor decision on my part. The outlet has not been installed yet and electricians lack communication skills; are unreliable and lack credibility. I highly recommend OBA construction team as well as Dominic, but go with a reliable electrician.

I had interviewed another company prior to talking to Kel at Alpha foundation and after speaking with Kel Decided to go with them because of how he spent the time showing me how he knew where the voids under my pool slab was and what it would take to get there he didn’t promise anything that he couldn’t fulfill, and in fact, told me that he probably wouldn’t be able to get it exactly level, but what would do the best he could, and when Jordan and Hector came out, I spoke with Jordan and he was thorough and making sure if I had any questions or concerns that he gave me the opportunity to say something. They did a great job it was done a lot quicker than I expected and very satisfied with the work done. We recently contracted Foundation Recovery Systems to address a water issue in our basement, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Their team installed new drainage, jacks, a dehumidifier, and a triple sump pump, followed by a full encapsulation. Throughout the entire process, they kept me informed, walking me through each step as the work was completed.
